This is a really fun, relaxing project to do while listening to an audiobook or streaming a program. It doesn’t require 100 0/0 of your attention. This is so pretty, I’d would make a greAt gift, too! Thank you so much😘
Found your tutorial! I've been seeing the hexagon granny cardigan that was similar and really wanted to make one. Used your tutorial but added a hood because it's for a 19 year old who likes hoods. So far I finished the two sides and granny squares for hood. Thanks Anja for tutorial!
🙋I'm making one in Burnt pumpkin 🎃 my yarn is l ❤ love this yarn ..I would like to say thank you for your time and patience teaching those that like to crochet 🙌 ❤ from Atlanta Georgia
Oh Princess Layla you are so cute. I love this cardigan and I think I’m going to make it. I don’t think I’ll have time to get it done before the mystery CAL, but I’m going to try.
I just made this in a larger size, used a 4 weight and just kept to the basics but added more. Worked out great and such an easy and well explained tutorail, thank you.
Cool Crafty Creations The sweet thing is you can change the stitches up a bit and create a different look. Just do the math to make sure your gauge and stitch count works out.
Cool Crafty Creations Just found this video so I wanted to share with you. It’s how to make the cardigan without as many holes. ua-cam.com/video/hVjCFSz--Nk/v-deo.html Note the difference in UK and US terminology.
This popped up after the live today! Never saw it before. I am mystified by the way you make the armpits/sides of this cardigan!! I saw a lady in a store once with something very similar & always wished id have asked her about it. Maybe she followed this turorial !!
I love this. You explained it so well that even I can make one. Thank you so much. I have never made any clothing because it looked so intimidating. I already have some Mandala yarn and didn't know what I wanted to make with it. This is perfect.
I’ve had this design on my to do list for some time. I received a infant size one as a gift over 30 years ago when my first child was born. Since then I’ve learned it’s a older pattern. I think by Elizabeth Hiddleston.
Hi Anya thank you for doing this, it's the best one on you tube so well explained, l wonder could l do it in a v stitch instead of. The granny cluster, thanks again for a great video you are fantastic teacher, l am a 70 year old and admire you so much xx
If you know who you're making it for and can take a few measurements of the intended wearer, there's a similar "Granny Cardigan" pattern on Ravelry (the one by Amelia Dellow Designs) which can be made to any size. I'm sure a similar method (of taking a few measurements and working to size) would also work for making a Campfire Cardigan in any size desired, from doll clothes to plus-size adult.
I absolutely love your video I just wish you would have done more rows of lengthening as I am a beginner. I have my cardigan done and I am lengthening it. I left my sleeve the way they were. Thank you so much.
I wish I would've seen your tutorial first ugh! I made this and it was way too boxy :( then I checked to see if you had a tutorial and boom! You explained everything very well and that we must try it on as we go! Not one tutorial mentioned this but you. I also has to add a lot of length to mine as I am pretty much the same build as you.
thank you for this video! It was my first time making a piece of clothing and your video made it so easy. I had tried to watch another one first and just wasn't able to follow it.

hi! thanks for this tutorial, i have come across this cardigan a while ago but i can't follow the other video. I am now making this....i'll just add some hood on this one.....
Z hi have never made a wearable and I’m afraid to do it. L O L but this looks like it’s doable. I am intermediate crocheter and I do have vision problems but have become very very tactile in my work so thank you for this. I have some lovely yarn to use and I am ready to try this one wonder why there are not more very plain pretty cardigan patterns out there. They all seem to have some features that I don’t care for, thanks so much again for this one
Have you any suggestions for using a heavier yarn. I have a heap of bulky yarn about 12 to 14 ply. Would like to make it for myself and I’m about a size 18. Would the bulky work and what size hook would you suggest please!
i like making summer vest and it has no sleeves maybe i’ll know how to put sleeves on them 😊..i was 11 years old when i learned how to crochet and one of them were granny squares 😊 !

Hi...thanks for sharing your video. My question is - how long do you think it takes to make one - a cardigan from start to finish? A couple of days or did you take longer? I think I started this on Tuesday and I'm on Thursday night now. I'm hoping to get this finished for the weekend.
Ophelia Talks - you said to always try it on. Well! guess who didn't listen to that advice!? Me. I was using a slightly thicker yarn and I went up to the 18th row like you but needed to frog back down to the 14th row. But in the future I'll do even less because it was more of a bell sleeve than a snug sleeve. It turned out really lovely and I got more compliments than I realised I would. I think this would be ever so cute for a toddler in a solid colour. Oh to answer your question...I started on Tuesday, 10th of July and I finished it on the Saturday, 14th of July - the night of the party. I think if I just sat and did it constantly, no housework, cooking dinners and teenagers to help out, I could have finished it way before Saturday. I will try it again...thanks. Can I post it to your FB page?
yes please!! post it I want to see it! sometimes trying it on is just a chore, but you must!! it will save you some work! glad you got so many compliments! xxx
I love this but I don’t want my sleeves as wide so at the point of making them longer, could I use a smaller hook and or, instead of a 3cluster, make it 2 for a few rounds instead then, using a smaller hook again, do the same until I reach the desired length?? Any advice greatly appreciated 😊

Hi Anya thank you so much for this pattern I am enjoying it so far. I am just stuck at the start of the lengthening the main body part - you have joined on your green at 28:41 and then worked one row in double crochet clusters as normal, then at the end of that row you do 2chains up to start the next row. However at the end of that second row I come to one double crochet cluster and no 2chains to attach my last cluster to (to then move up and start the 3rd row). Can you help?
Thanks for your question. I put it in the last double crochet of the previous round. Hope this makes sense. Thank you for watching Chelsea Hamilton ! Anja xxx 💕🌈

How could I make it longer? Without making the sleeves longer?
