- In this video I show you everything you need to know about the new Realistic Biomes add-on by @OrevilleStudios ! I review all of the settings for you... of which there are A LOT of ways to customize your experience, and I showcase to you all of the amazing things in this add-on in an effort to help you determine if you would like to purchase it!
Realistic Biomes is an amazing visual add-on for your world that adds in a ton of ambiance to your world and makes it look and feel more alive with a whole lot of different features. This add-on stays true to the vanilla game, it doesn't add in or change anything to the game to affect gameplay (with a couple of VERY small exceptions I touch on in the video), and is fully intended to give you an immersive feeling in your world!
Realistic Biomes is an "add-on" in the Minecraft Marketplace and since it uses both a behavior pack and resource pack, it WILL disable achievements in your world. It can be applied to both brand new worlds, or existing worlds you've had for years. I do want to note, this add-on DOES NOT include any custom animations that you may have seen in the trailers made for the add-on. Those animations were purely used for production quality in the trailers.

This add-on looks amazing. Thanks for the review! I wish that Mojang could make it so that behavior packs that only affect visual aspects of the game would not disable achievements.
This addon's settings such as time and rain settings can make the game cheat
@@muhamadsandykhoirun9117 Achievements could be disabled when using them. I can not use any AddOn.
Prowl, you're one of the only Minecraft UA-camrs that mentions that this stuff doesn't work well on lower end devices. I play on a Switch and I appreciate you thinking about us.
I like the ambient noises and the torches glowing in your hand but the biome fog might be annoying to build in but the fog would look great around some finished projects
An excellent job! If I saw this in the marketplace without any context I’d be unlikely to get it. Having seen your walk through, I would love to give it a try! I do run the game on an iPad, but even if I can only use a portion of the effects it will be worth it. Thanks!
To bad add-ons disable achievements. I just like to achieve mine. Makes me fill iv accomplished something cool but will definitely set up a realm world with this add-on
Looks good. Between this and actions and stuff I am going to have to get a computer to play on instead of the switch!
It seems like Orville might be coming out with their own version of actions & stuff based on the hints Prowl gave in the beginning!

I have a couple of games with cherry blossom villages, they surprised me the first time as it was nowhere near a plains biome.
Mojang: video setting, it's too complicated also sound biome is more complicated.

The low fog reminds me of old Minecraft
If you run a server, is this global server settings, or can each player tweak to their own preferences?
Most add ons I’ve messed around with with friends is that it the settings tend to be global for all players. Now that might not be the case for this add on but it’s a very likely chance it is :)
I really want these kinds of features in the vanilla game. I've gone 5 years without disabling achievements, I don't want to start now.
Maybe just get all the achievements, then it doesn't matter if you disable them?

Is there a way to get the settings menu by a command? Players on my realm didn’t spawn with one and I wanted them to be able to mess with the settings. Thanks
Prowl, do you know how well these add on will stack? Or is it even possible? Given we have Realisimcraft, VFX and now Realistic Biomes it would be nice to stack and get the bits from each.
I heard it does from other comments. Except for one specific feature. I think the ground mist and some feature in realism was causing bad lag. I can't confirm it for myself but like 4 people have mentioned it in other videos.
Hello friend, can it be combined with another texture pack? for example with True Realism?
How did you get the sun rays to work? It doesn't do that for me even though I have them turned on and I'm on a high end device..
You can also make your own color grading (up to 10 )
the animation pack is from actions and stuff, and I dont think they got permission to use it

Can we still adjust the Redner distance to 64+ on PC with this? Or does it limit render distance even with the render distance setting turned on?

Forgeting the realism craft addon?there are very close the same vfx settings and much much more....this is the same but less content
Maybe it's better than realism because this one has vanilla's textures. Personally, I hate the realism crafts texture
