It's average product, but because selena put her name in the product, suddenly it turns into the best product of the year. You can find better dewy liptint in korean brand ( romand,amuse,dasique,hera and many more) for more cheaper price. I love selena but if her product is not good, I'm not going to say it's good just because i love selena. If it's bad then it's bad

It isn't really hydrating, it's literally a lipstain. It dries out my lips so bad at it chaps. It works well with me if I make it lipstain then add gloss at the top. Looks good that way.

For me it dries out super fast for some reason. I love the way it feels at first and how beautiful it looks, but it doesn’t last that long for me which sucks. I have to keep reapplying it if I want too keep that glossy finish. I’m happy it works for some ppl tho.
What i see about rare beauty lip oil, its literally like indonesian liptint. Because its not so glossy like lip oil, but the texture looks like jelly tint. Might be you should try indonesian liptints! Because we have a looot of good liptints

I work with makeup and I have the Rare beauty lip oil tint and it’s one of the best tints ever but she’s not wrong for marketing it as oils bc there’s different types of lip tints. You have the water based, Gel based, and Oil based for example the Dior one is water based and it’s awful bc it clings to all the dry patches on your lips where the Rare beauty and the Fenty (very similar formula) don’t cling to your dry patches and do hydrate. And at the end of the day what works for someone doesn’t mean it will work for someone else! These products aren’t bad it’s just her personal opinion
I agree with the rare beauty review!! Tbh I kinda do like the formula but I cant see myself ever js leaving it on because its so slippery and water like. The stain also does NOT last very long especially compared to a lot of other products.
The Rare Lip Oil is nice... but it I feel like the medium skin tone model they used on the site was just not accurate because you can barely see the tint! It looks like a slightly grayer shade of my natural lip color 😂
