So, a few years back, I had a very expensive French lingerie advent calendar bought for my Christmas present. He had spent around £5000! However, the company rang him and spent half an hour asking him everything from my sizes, to colour preferences, to the type of perfume I wore. It was totally customised to me and seriously beautiful. Most standard advent calendars rarely work ..... Wrong perfumes, wrong make-up colours, dark chocolate not milk etc. I would have been very disappointed with all of these shown.

Charlotte tillbury one was the only one that's worth it. it provided all the basics that you need for makeup(besides foundation and concealer and stuff that you need to pick individually for your skin complexion) so if someone wants to get into Charlotte tillbury or just high end makeup, this will be a perfect thing to buy. props to them!!!
Yeah except her skincare is not good. Full of garbage. You're better off using drugstore products. I've tried everything of hers and it effed my face up. And stinks.

The swarovski calendars baffle me each year.. They just seem such terrible value for money. They could've done such fun stuff with the Disney theme, yet they barely did anything creative and still added in generic non disney things.
I would be so disappointed with that box and all those ornament things. They looked like free stuff Swarovski would just give away, like something your coworker would give you as a lame christmas present.
Not at all justifying their products, but disney has extremely strict guidelines per business collaboration. I worked with them on multiple different brand products and it is INCREDIBLY difficult to move the needle on collections like this. I’m more shocked about the horrible quality control from Swarovski and that disney didn’t make sure their characters were printed perfectly.

your relationship with your mother is beautiful, watching your love for each other is so healing. my mom passed in 2020 and it’s hard finding anything that’ll comfort that pain like your channel does. me and my mother had a relationship like yours, we were the bestest of friends and loved to do the silliest stupidest things together. the love between a mother and a daughter is otherworldly, my mom isn’t physically here anymore but i still feel her love everywhere i go. please never stop doing what you do.
I can't believe that the swarovski Disney advent calendar was almost only christmas ornaments, for 1,800$ ! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure theyre very expensive and made of great material, and a lot of them were very cute , but to be able to really like an entire box of ornaments that you can only use in the Christmas season, that was THAT EXPENSIVE. I could never. I do think that if you were an ornament collector, (or Mia) you would really like it though. I really think they could've added a few more necklaces, or maybe a bracelet, or something more custom and special. But if you really like this kind of thing have at it ❤ No offense to those who really like ornaments or collect them. 😊
Not sure about worth the price, lol, I get their Christmas release Lip kit every year and last yr it came W a pencil, a lipstick, a lip balm, and the gloss she had in hers all for $28. The yr before it was 3 or 4 different special release shades of the Pillow Talk lipstick with a pencil and something else, I can't remember what though, for about $25... So, they do have Christmas specials and I feel like the price tag on the calendar can be beat of you find their Christmas sets. I absolutely love her lipsticks, well worth the price and I tried her pillow talk pallet finally over the summer on sale for $40. Lol, being ya know, broke in this economy, 😂 I think you can absolutely do better price wise if you are good at sale hunting and patient enough to wait. Her products are Def worth the price, but also worth the wait when it goes on sale or they have special releases 😊
Idk for £300+ it feels like a bit of a rip off to only get mini products 😭 but since they're an expensive brand and you are technically saving money, it's more worth it than the other ones. But in general I feel like their products are crazily priced

Hi Mia, the Dior advent calendar is full of perfumes because it's the La Collection Privée trunk (one of their perfume lines). There's another trunk called Le 30 Montaigne which is cheaper and contain a more diverse range of Dior products.

Dior is so extra with their delivery. I bought an $11,000 mountain bike and it was delivered with UPS and they just left it on my porch with no signature 💀

Me from Austria (swarovski is owend by german speaking) can tell you that it is called Swarovski and it is quite popular at our country but still no one likes their stuff too much because it is so expensive and still not too pretty. So I also dislike the content of the calendar. Just not worth it..
My mother gifted me a Bonne Maman advent calendar full of jam flavors that aren’t commercially available in North America; it was a much better value then these and much cheaper!
For the first time ever I've bought an advent calendar. It was from Zotters Chocolate. For the most part it was really good quality chocolate! And a good way to try out different flavors. I felt bad for spending so much money on it. But compared to the costs of these calendars I don't feel as bad for it anymore lol 😅😂.

My friend bought me the premium Rituals advent this year. It turns into a holiday village that lights up. You get about $300 worth of products for under $200. This might be one to do next year. And I 100% will be using the village again next year.

T H I S. I usually have my Kinder chocolate one, then this year i went for a sleich dinosaur toys one for fun, and then found a flavoured hot cocoa one i just HAD to go for. I'm 23 in feb. Chocolate and toys never dissappoint, and if any of ya'll see a hot chocolate one around, that one was my fave

Mama maples daughter is a adult but Mama maples speaks the same way I do with my toddler all day. Idk why but I love it. It's so comforting to still be that kind of loving supportive mother even if the child is a adult. Because Mama maples isn't crossing the line to being annoying but stays on the wholesome,kind and supportive side. I love her so much.

The swarovski calendars baffle me each year.. They just seem such terrible value for money. They could've done such fun stuff with the Disney theme, yet they barely did anything creative and still added in generic non disney things.
I would be so disappointed with that box and all those ornament things. They looked like free stuff Swarovski would just give away, like something your coworker would give you as a lame christmas present.

Not at all justifying their products, but disney has extremely strict guidelines per business collaboration. I worked with them on multiple different brand products and it is INCREDIBLY difficult to move the needle on collections like this. I’m more shocked about the horrible quality control from Swarovski and that disney didn’t make sure their characters were printed perfectly.

I can't believe that the swarovski Disney advent calendar was almost only christmas ornaments, for 1,800$ ! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure theyre very expensive and made of great material, and a lot of them were very cute , but to be able to really like an entire box of ornaments that you can only use in the Christmas season, that was THAT EXPENSIVE. I could never. I do think that if you were an ornament collector, (or Mia) you would really like it though. I really think they could've added a few more necklaces, or maybe a bracelet, or something more custom and special. But if you really like this kind of thing have at it ❤

Not sure about worth the price, lol, I get their Christmas release Lip kit every year and last yr it came W a pencil, a lipstick, a lip balm, and the gloss she had in hers all for $28. The yr before it was 3 or 4 different special release shades of the Pillow Talk lipstick with a pencil and something else, I can't remember what though, for about $25... So, they do have Christmas specials and I feel like the price tag on the calendar can be beat of you find their Christmas sets. I absolutely love her lipsticks, well worth the price and I tried her pillow talk pallet finally over the summer on sale for $40. Lol, being ya know, broke in this economy, 😂 I think you can absolutely do better price wise if you are good at sale hunting and patient enough to wait. Her products are Def worth the price, but also worth the wait when it goes on sale or they have special releases 😊

Hi Mia, the Dior advent calendar is full of perfumes because it's the La Collection Privée trunk (one of their perfume lines). There's another trunk called Le 30 Montaigne which is cheaper and contain a more diverse range of Dior products.
No it's not.... Le 30 Montaigne is a selection of 4 miniatures... Also 2 parfums, one red lipstick and 1 serum.

Me from Austria (swarovski is owend by german speaking) can tell you that it is called Swarovski and it is quite popular at our country but still no one likes their stuff too much because it is so expensive and still not too pretty. So I also dislike the content of the calendar. Just not worth it..

I felt bad for spending so much money on it. But compared to the costs of these calendars I don't feel as bad for it anymore lol 😅😂.

My friend bought me the premium Rituals advent this year. It turns into a holiday village that lights up. You get about $300 worth of products for under $200. This might be one to do next year. And I 100% will be using the village again next year.

Mama maples daughter is a adult but Mama maples speaks the same way I do with my toddler all day. Idk why but I love it. It's so comforting to still be that kind of loving supportive mother even if the child is a adult. Because Mama maples isn't crossing the line to being annoying but stays on the wholesome,kind and supportive side. I love her so much.

@@heatherva The images are printed backward. Mia didn't show the back of the piece, so it just looked like Minnie silhouettes. But, if she had turned the piece around, it would've shown the Minnie heads with the bows were printed with colour on the flat side! They're facing the wrong way!

By far, this is the nicest reaction to the swarovski calendar ever 😂 and omg i was expecting more from Dior, for 5400 you'd think they'd at least have a small cardholder or wallet in there 😢 thank you Mia and Momma Maples for volunteering as tribute and letting us vicariously peek at these horribly bougie and underwhelming boxes ❤
P.S. the Charlotte Tillbury setting spray is the bomb. It really helps set the makeup really well😊
