I have been wanting to make a Mando cosplay but I don't have all the tools for it unfortunately. I think it would be cool to see a Mando chest plate on a actual plate carrier.
First, I wish i had access to a shop with the metal working you are doing. Second my build is sintra. I wish I knew then what you just showed in this, a bout plate size and spacing. I'm a bigger guy but not on the tall side. Looking at the plates i have now im afraid they are going to get kicked back just because they are a little odd sized. Any way great work and I am glad to be part of your You tube and your FB.
I would love to make mine out of the aluminum you used. But I assume you don’t have to have the equipment that you have and you could just use a bandsaw to cut them out? And as far as cutting the holes I assume I could use a drill bit. But how would I form the aluminum? Do I need to buy one of thoughs equipment that you used to form the aluminum? Sorry for all the questions, I really enjoy your content and how you build the armor. The amount of work you put into your builds and content is amazing. Hope to see a lot more in the future. And one last thing, maybe could you show how you paint your aluminum in a future video?!! I’m just trying to learn.
@@x31omega I don't care enough to visit the Mercs forum/page. The organization pissed me off something fierce when they tried to implement a tiered buy in membership. Super shady. Also answering a question with "Look it up." Is just plain annoying and rude, especially when the question wasn't directed at you.
@@macewen1 I do spend alot of time sifting through the site and the search function isn't that good. But there are also people like the welding geek who would go out of their way to help ya.
I’m doing a mando costume and I’m using a template from a site at the smallest size I could find, I laugh a lot at how much Of the size I’m having to change because I’m incredibly thin
Appreciate the time you're taking to film and produce these videos. It's nice to see props that aren't just floormats and a paint job.
Fantastic craftsmanship looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Would the square (from collar to belly button) be different for women? Having trouble getting my chest plate template the right size for me
Bella that’s a good question,I think it would be, as long as your plates contour to your body
Do you have the patterns?
Hello!
