That turned out awesome! I don't people realize just how much work goes into these projects....let alone the filming and editing. I am actually thinking about putting The Mandalorian graphics on my arcade build.....best Star Wars content I've watched in years. Subscribed.
I’ve been really enjoying your videos lately as an escape from my school work. I’ve been wanting to learn about metal work for stuff like this, and you’ve been a great inspiration/reminder of how much skill it takes to pull it off.
Damn, I love this channel. Sooo many people get famous on yt for doing nothing. Here, there's so much passion, knowledge and skill behind your abilities that it only frustrates me, that channels like this don't have the following they deserve. Best wishes, Matt (:
Matt, awesome work fella, you are definitely a very skill metal fabricator. I am really enjoying this series as it's showing a multitude of different techniques. Take care D
I put your channel on SWNN (Shows: The Mandolorian) hopefully you get a lot more subscribers. Your work is fascinating. I love Mandolorian’s. I love their armor, their culture, their code, and the history that has spanned the SWU. I think your doing an amazing job. Thanks for the videos. I watched them all (and the newer ones for the shows armor I’ve watched at least three times each!).
I started understanding what you were on about about half way through. Looks amazing. Bet you are glad you didn't make the suite from chapter 1. Hope this one isn't out of date in 2 episodes.
That’s what I need is a bag and hammer I used to know how to do that and it would help me out big time. Also when I learned we wernt aloud to use the plannisher or English wheel as first semester students do you can actually take a rubber mallet and grind it into the teardrop shape and plannish with that for people who don’t have a plannisher
Watching this just reminded me of how much I miss welding.... and the time I got a bad flash burn welding aluminum frames together it got hot in our shop and i was just wearing a tank top. 🤦♂️👍
Those look slick! What are you going to do for the leather work? Bandolier, holster and the Belt looks interesting. Plus he's got those little sticky bombs on there, would be awesome to make them functional - in the sense that twisting one would set off a blinking red LED. :D Also boots and there's some pouches and other stuff, will be interesting to see that all come together.
Outstanding work, Can't wait to see more of your Mandalorian armor builds. I am VERY interested in buying a set of Mandalorian metal pauldrons , Please let me know either way. I also trade with production company prop guys, if you are interested in movie items that are not available to the public, just let me know.
Nice solution for floating shoulders. I've been thinking of doing an aluminum plates set for my next mando, but I likely won't be able to get a welding machine. Would durafix rods work, or would that not hold up well enough in the long run, even being just costume pieces? Or should it only be used for certain reasons on cosplay armor?
So you are using lift dots to secure the plates down... Are you going to show counter side to that of fixing the other half to the garment at any point?
Really great work! Everything's coming together great. I really dig all your videos. It's nice to watch you work without aggravating my tinnitus and getting flash-burns. I heard that you are thinking about posting up some templates. I'd be glad to help if you need a hand converting the AutoCad files to printable pdfs at some point. I did some checking and I should be able to import the dwgs into NX and make up some 1:1 drawings sheets if you're interested. You can get my email off the Mercs forum (Jegg) or if you want a reference, I know a guy that knows a dude at your shop.
I really enjoy your videos. Wish I could learn to weld like you. I'd be happy with just half your skill level. I was wondering if your making this armor for cosplay or if you're in The Madolorian Mercs club?
Once you've got the whole kit together I'd be interested to see how you harness/mount the armor to the fabric outfit underneath.
Paulo Cesar Garcia Lopez Velcro 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Great to see the spoils of the Great Purge returning home
That turned out awesome! I don't people realize just how much work goes into these projects....let alone the filming and editing. I am actually thinking about putting The Mandalorian graphics on my arcade build.....best Star Wars content I've watched in years. Subscribed.

Do you recycle the scrap aluminum?
"I believe a pauldron is in order."
The blacksmith in me is groaning," Oooooh, if it was only that simple." 0:21
Signet time!
Now you need to add the mudhorn signet.
VERY EPIC
I really enjoy your videos. Wish I could learn to weld like you. I'd be happy with just half your skill level. I was wondering if your making this armor for cosplay or if you're in The Madolorian Mercs club?
I have a question, how much would it cost you to build the full set of that armor out of titanium metal
at 10:24, you use a 'motorised die'. When I look that up, nothing comes up that looks even similar to that tool. What is the tools actual name?
Love the skit at the start
Just wondering how much you would charge for a full set of Mando Armor if commissioned
There room inside that channel for some kind of cool Mando gadget
dude i would kill for any piece of the mandos armor wish i saw the give away. plus college is robbing me dry
Wow
Will you make tge new sign on it?
how long have you been welding? you do awesome work.
17 years of tig welding
Hi friend! Do you have a website where to buy the products?
Where did he get the template
If we can't buy the finished product, is it maybe possible to buy the pattern you used to cut the metal pieces?
Yeah I’ll be releasing the templets in the near future
That intro tho!
EDIT: I WATCHED THE END!
whats the weight on those?
Where do you work that there are a bunch of funny cars in the back of the shop.
