Would love to see Kenne Bell compare a blower of similar displacement to VMP's Gen 3R or Odin to actually see which blower design is actually more efficient at making power. Of course a 3.6L blower is going to make more power, and it doesn't have to spin as fast.
By design the twin acrew is more efficient to the vmp roots style. Vmp doesn't make the rotor pack eaton does. Magnusen makes the cases. The 3.2 Kenne bell is better and lighter than the 2650 tvs. TVs is limited by size and rpm.
@@darrenmcfeaters6683 By design the twin screw is only more efficient than old 3 lobe Eaton rotor pack. The current Eaton rotor pack that they use is more efficient than a twin screw if comparing by equal or similar displacement. Most consumers are looking for superchargers in the small blower market (3.0L & smaller), which doesn't require a built engine. The Eaton based TVS blower make great power and torque, and more than capable of pushing stock internals well past their limit. No need to go bigger on displacement. Not everyone is looking to build an engine. There's also no proof that the 3.2L KB is more efficient. VMP already proved that the 2.8L KB can't match their 2.65L TVS in efficiency and power. The only way the KB can win this argument is to go up on displacement.

VMP is not claiming bigger isn’t better. From how I understand it they are saying it takes your 3.6 to out do the 2.65 or to match it. With that said I don’t see a 2.65 making 1500, 1300s yeah but not 1500. So what I gather from VMP is that your rotor design and so on is not as efficient as theirs at the same blower size. Your 2.6 or 3.2 does not perform as well as the 2.65 , but your 3.6 does eventually the bigger size is going to take over. Also they are comparing boost for boost and not rotor rpm vs rotor rpm which they should be doing.

I had to get it Dyno tuned at Blow by racing to be able to hit the numbers they claimed with the basic kit none of the extras I got.
So why is it that kenne bells website gives false advertising on the operation of your blowers? Your website says your superchargers spin in the opposite direction of a roots supercharger and compresses the air in-between the rotors... So why is the pulley on the right rotor? Just like the vmp roots blowers? Because they spin the same direction, and operate the same way, just one looks different. I personally don't trust your company or anything you tell the consumer... Zero proof or testing shown to anyone... Dataloging and dynoing on the same motor with comparable blows would be nice... It's show your blows are have less adiabatic efficiency.
Wow, I cant wait to see your supercharger dyno perform in the quarter mile! I didnt realize superchargers can run without an engine and platform! You should probably actually use a VMP supercharger to compare. Funny how you dont actually compare a VMP Gen 3r to your 2.8. Also waiting on one of your non 4+ liter blowers to run a 7 in the quarter...

While I enjoy the power of my VMP 2.3 Gen2R, I seriously regret not getting the 2.8 or 3.6LC for my 5.0. I bought into the youtube hype with all the soy boy youtubers getting "free" VMP blowers on their cars and then promoting them. I thought I was going to get great customer service with VMP. Service was terrible in reality. Too many issues. They literally just modify the case and inlet of a Roush and use Eatons rotors. There are no real engineers who design anything for them. I've seen tons of their "upgrade tests" where they increase boost to get their desired results and then don't disclose it. They attribute power gains to greater blower efficiency or whatever other magic when in alot of scenarios, it's simply not the case. If I ever get another blower, itl be a Kenne Bell.
At the end of the day nothing can match the Eaton rotor design size for size. Nothing against any manufacturer. Each has their place and Whipple seems to have the most reliability issues from what I see online....

Vmp is misleading, I bought the Gen 2 when it came out for my gt500 with the ported elbow , smallest pulley ,10% over drive and 67mm throttle body plugs a jlt intake and I made 100hp off of what they claimed.
Vmp is like the matco of the blower world nothing but rebranded stuff other companies engineered. But will stand on it like its thier own
Wow, I cant wait to see your supercharger dyno perform in the quarter mile! I didnt realize superchargers can run without an engine and platform! You should probably actually use a VMP supercharger to compare. Funny how you dont actually compare a VMP Gen 3r to your 2.8. Also waiting on one of your non 4+ liter blowers to run a 7 in the quarter...
VMP made the inaccurate post about the comparison between the blowers. I love both blowers but vmp just reached 7s. Rebecca Starkey has came close.
Rebecca starkey and others are already in the 7s. There's at least 3 or 4 of them now. Could be more because this was back in November.
@@rfor7471 when rebecca reach 7s? And not hating on Vmp I ran a ported 2.3 for 3years from them and did the job. But Keene Bell and whipple are superior because of size and efficiency
@@calvinmauney5669 back in january. Others were running 7s last November at mod nationals. ua-cam.com/video/bGz8NreYG7M/v-deo.html
@@calvinmauney5669 they might make more power because of size but they are not as efficient. A 2.6 kb would get wrecked by a 2.65 vmp 3r. Kb and whipple both need considerably more displacement to beat the tvs
Funny how you just stand there and talk instead of putting a car on the dyno.
It's funny when people think an already inferior roots style design with smaller displacement will outperform a superior twin screw design with larger rotors and more displacement.
Don't buy into marketing and don't waste you're money on a VMP
Incorrect. Eaton makes good oem quality superchargers. They are limited to 18000rpm according to their website and also shows map compressor showing its efficiency.
Vmp just announced they FAILED there 3.1 lol 😂
Do similar leader superchargers same boost same day uncut video show all the data of locking timing dinosaurs show that the dinosaur's not being manipulated all-in-one uncut video it might be long but both companies should do this and prove the truth
Kb will always destroy vmp power psi lb for lb
Yes you're comparing a blower that was 2 generations ago compare your closest leader blower newest version of it to the newest version of VMP The Gen 3r or the odin Don't cut the video show me the timing locked show me the boost on an uncut video on the same day same vehicle under under multiple polls and prove the point I don't want to see graphs on a cut video I want to see true data On a uncut video Locking the timing show me all the dinosaurs settings show me the Dino aint being Missest with And show me the data all-in-one video same core same day Similar coolant temp Time runs With a couple minutes in between back-to-back pools or even just back-to-back Poles and show the data in an uncut video and prove your point old technology versus new technology The weight disturbance in between billet and castThe difference In leadersRun it to the same or PM prove the data out the right way no laws no bullshit may be a long video but it'd be worth it to get the truth cause I feel like the video has flaws when it's cut showing me graphs and just telling me something show me true proof if you think your blower is really better Both companies
Jesus that was difficult to read. Lots of demands from someone who can’t use a period.
Numbers aren’t all that impressive, I prefer seeing said competitors run what ya brung and leave the numbers in the weight room. I’ve seen a lot of vmp cars run door to door with bigger blower kB cars so hp isn’t always king when it comes to winning races it’s all in the combo. With that said I think they are both great blowers.
No tvs cars running low 7s at almost 200 mph like kenne bell cars.
Bahahahahahaha Kenny bell upset vmp Odin is a way better rotor
