Friend of the Devil is a friend of mine, killer bus dude! I have a 1972 westy weekender! nothing better than a good trip in the bus! the way they drive is just so incomparable! enjoy and may it bring you guys on many adventures XD
8:39-9:44 Renting a sand/soda blaster would be a great idea to get rid of the rust. If it IS feasibly possible, get the Alumalloy sticks to weld any open rust holes shut. Finish it off with 2-3 coats of POR-15. Hi, excuse me, could you help me with something, I'm getting a roof just like yours vw, you know where I could find it, I'd really appreciate it if you could help me.
I did this same thing when I got my 70. It was real satisfying to get all the crap out, especially the red plush carpet.
Hey guy, great bus. 😊 It looks much better than mine, what is 6 years younger then yours. Kind regards from Germany, Ralph
Great find, and welcome to the VW Bus world. You guys are going to have sooo much fun with it. Looking forward to your progress.
