Love the bus! Glad to see it back out on the road running and not rotting away in a cr*ackhead homeless camp 😂. Great video guys! and can I just say.....DAMN you guys got alot of buses!! -Dalton
New subscriber here and enjoying binging while I lay on the couch with sinus and ear infections so 👍🏻for helping me thru. Like chicken soup but oily. I always have a remote start button on my air cooled VWs, usually next to the engine. I haven't seen one on your vehicles. I'm guessing I've probably missed it somehow. One of the best things to have IMHO. Keep up the good work and hope to see y'all out there somewhere.
1971, the year I graduated high school and had my last summer of working and fun before I left for college in my 70 Beetle. The good ol days. Loved the vid. Have a Happy New Year Ya'll.
what are the odds you guys want to do a trip to Newfoundland, be able to film some awesome footage, and take a look at my 1972 VW westfalia that hasn't been started in 15 years? was parked to paint, ran perfect, but it never ended up getting painted and it stayed in the garage all those years. Accommodations at my 5 star air&b can be discussed, as well as kayak and canoe access and some other fun experience options? That is; if you don't have a spring/ summer trip figured out yet. Think on it!-Hope
Wow that reminds me of my first bus, with all the stuff left behind. Two college girls followed the dead before I got it. Its amazing how you can get one running even after 25 years. Happy New Year guys
Very nice job guys Injoy watching your videos and watching you guys bring back to life those old antique VW buses and bugs 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 stay safe and bless you guys 🙏
Great episode! Love the 71's. I just bought a clean 78 Westy Deluxe that is very dry even though it is in the pacific northwest. Looking forward to bringing it back to life.
Really hoping to see y'all work on the sunroof! I have one on my 72' bus that I've been working on a bit now and still can't get it to work great. Stoked to see it run!
Nice job guys. I wish mine was in as good shape as this one. Just new floor pans for the 69 this week. Rear corners and a couple body panels should arrive in a couple weeks. Hope yours finds a good home. It would be fun to finish it. But then, are they ever finished??
Outstanding video guys, have a great New Years from Cumbria, England. Ps: managed to get my VW life Sticker. Please sent a email address and I’ll add a photo of Betty flying the flag. All the best from our auntie’s and uncles
May I ask what what ya guys got for this 71 deluxe? I've got a 72 tin top that I picked up in 96 and put minimal $$ into her to be a decent bus for work, and it's became one of our daily drivers. I paid $160 and traded a $40 sack of something to a guy. Parked her in 2005 and I'm getting ready to move from Vegas to Pennsylvania and planned on having her trucked back. Is it worth the cost in your opinions? The sentimental value far exceeds the actual price, I'm sure. But it has no rust, all original windows (except windshield) original chrome strips, some bondo in the nose and slider. I just wish she were 1 year older at the very least. Dang type IV engine and ugliness taillights. But like one of your kids, not perfect or possibly expected, but she's mine and I love her.
Rip that horrible Type 1 motor out! Put a Type 2 2000cc with the beefy bottom end and dual carbs. If you want Zero oil leaks than do the “5th stud treatment “.
Wow, She's a Real Beaut Clark!
That was awesome when she kicked over, made me grin from ear to ear!! Busses and beetles make me so happy. Peace and love lads. VW for life!!
👍
Wow I love how these old VWs just need a good dizzy &carb, fresh battery and a nice squirt of gas and that's it... they'll run like a champ.
👍
“More projects than Carter’s has pills”.....I’m old enough to know what that means! 😂
Great save guys!! 💕
My mom used to say that all the time. I was waiting for Jake to give the confused look when he said that

Nice bay, what was wrong with the distributor?
How did you still have the key from this bus? Wouldn’t that have been lost ages ago?
Crazy huh?!

Soon as I can drive a Bus to hawaii, I'm there!
Hello, do you have a 71 Bay pedal splash pan for sale?
No
Nice 71 guys! I’m looking for a sliding door in good shape for an early bay.
Any chance you guys got one or know of someone selling one?
Not that I know of
@@VWLifeVW no worries. I’m here in Texas as well if something comes across. Thank you!
Did Jake get a new headlamp from Santa?? 😅
Yes
Happy new year. Now, your resolution is: Learn how to service fuel injection.
The Slammed 78 has fuel injector seals and intake boots on order!
Jake we love to always see your pretty face. Great jod.
😊 thank you
back from the dead
That's right!
Jake, I don't know which is nicer to see...a rescued & running VW bus, or your pretty face?!
Are you really “homeless” if you live in a vw bus? VW life!
Technically, no
