- Hey friends, today I'm reviewing Ralph Lauren Polo Blue Gold Blend which is a flanker in the Polo Blue line that came out in spring of 2019. I'm glad you finally did this one. I've been enjoying this since it came out. It's hard to find a review on this one. Thanks Ashton. I enjoy the polo blue line. Even though it is somewhat generic. I just enjoy the DNA. I really want to round my collection out with ultra and the new deep blue.

This one is my favorite cologne out of all of them. My dad used this one all the time. I just love the scents.

This was an instant like for me. As being one that wore the og edt, this was a refreshing update. The grapefruit was something that really shined in my skin, always seemed to be present. I do agree with @Shane Beauty that this reminds me of a polo blue × adg profumo. Anyway thx #SniffLord, stay sprayed up and safe.

Me too! First year! But it's only the 2.5oz I believe. Maybe 85%. Special occasions only.
Heavy dose of Oak Moss and woody dry down with spicy twist, surprisingly!!! It still is the best blue fragrance if anyone scores the OG

Could you try a pull and bear fragrence? The notes sound sometimes pretty interesting and they are really cheap and there are no reviews out there.
I have purchased this one before few months. I like it but I prefer the EDP version. I agree with all of your remarks. At the end, I hate EDT version since I have tried it before 15 years.

How many hours those the EDP last you? For me the EDP initial spray smells amazing. Projection about a foot for like an hour. Last about 6 hours close to my skin. I use 5 sprays. You guys?

I used it and loved it at first, it's expensive and 2 hours later there was nothing there. It's like nothing was there. Yet I still have the paper stick I sprayed and it still smells like the bottle.
I understand why fragrance lovers don't price gold blend but I get a lot of positive attention from this release

Is anyone interested in buying a Versace Eros 2018 version 100ml ( its like 75ml left).
As you know is Eros reformulated and the perfomance is extremely lower.
I would sell it for 45€ (Douglas Prices : 100ml 86€ 50ml 65€ 30 ml 52€)

In states everything simply oversized, you guys get PBGB in 4 ounce bottles. Here in Canada the one and only size of this fragrance comes in 2 5 ounce bottles and cost $100 USD). Last time I bought Ricola family size pack with 50 lozenges inside. In Canada the same Ricola family pack is 45.

Seems redundant if you already have Polo Blue, BDC and Versace Dylan Blue. Lol maybe if Maxaroma sends me a bottle too, then I’ll add it to the collection.

So my Dad has a very sensitive nose ( he gets headaches from fragrances so he has to adjust to colognes so it doesn’t effect him). What are the lightest, easy wearing Men Fragrances you would recommend??

Would also be curious if there's any fragrances less likely to bother people, my roommate is very sensitive so I basically never where cologne out of respect to them. From what I've heard Molecule 01 might work for that.

Late to the game on this one. Not a fan off Polo fragrances for men, did wear Safari for awhile years back, but I hear that it has been reformulated.However Gold Blend was on a 50 percent off sale at Macy’s this past week and hadn’t purchased a fragrance in several months so I decided to try this based on a couple of positive reviews.Paid $49 plus tax. I agree does have a Dylan Blue vibe. So far not impressed. Would not buy again. There are better choices for the money even though fragrance prices are rising.

I mean it is up to you, those two fragrances are while perhaps not the same, fill a very simillar role in the collection, and I for one try to not unreasonably expand my collection, so it is a no buy from me, but as I said, whatever floats your boat.
I mean you bought it so use it :) the one you prefer to use, use it when you go out and the other one use at home or spray your bed before you go to sleep I spray my bed with explorer speaking of luxuries sleep!
McConvincing i I wouldn’t say so. the versace is much more bright and citrusy while the d&g is more salty and aquatic. They do similar things but they could be used for different scenarios. I’d personally prefer the d&g overall, though.
This video gives me hope that there would be a Boss the scent parfume review someday. Also a huge boss wife rating would be nice

I tried this at Macys and to me it smelled identical to Polo Deep Blue which I already own.
I bought this fragrance a few months ago for some reason I pick up the pepper pretty easily for me, at first I thought it was kind of a poor man's version of Dior sauvage
So it doesn’t last long???
It lasts 5 hours.
I wanted to like this one and initially, I did, but the dry down with that ambroxan/amberwood/whatever nasty aroma chemical is being used kills it for me. I can't wait until IFRA either bans ambroxan/amberwood or forces perfumers to use way less because those two notes are disgusting and almost headache-inducing for me (and many others I suspect).

IFRA will not ban or restrict Ambroxide because Ambroxide has no potential allergens and hasn't been proven so for decades. Ambroxide has been used in fragrances for both men and women since the 1970's starting with Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. Ambroxide is inevitable. Ask any professional perfumer and educate yourself about perfumery instead of posting comments without knowing firsthand what the raw material itself smells like...😉What you are smelling in many men's fragrances nowadays is an Ambroxan accord... 😉😋 Ambroxan on its own is a beautiful, musky, animalic, "sweaty", and elegant blonde wood note with very minute oud/labdanum/cistus facets.

I for one, despise the modern fragrance trends. Not particularly the blue wave, but the wave of safe mass pleasing generic "wearable" homogenized bullcrap.
