✅ FIXING FRAME DAMAGED SUV with A FEW SURPRISES INSIDE
Вставка

- I recently picked up a new project. This frame damaged Kia Sportage came with few unexpected surprises inside. In this video I will go over the damages, will address some suspension issues just to get this Kia to roll again. After that I will get it mounted on my homemade frame rack and pull all of the damaged metal back out to its original location with a use of a laser.
Tools used in the video:
Self leveling laser: amzn.to/4cURZEZ
Spot welder: amzn.to/4ef0Gej
Good Video Fix! (As always). You are a good teacher!
Thanks, Phillip Hall
That apron should've been replaced... all of the crush points were damaged. You can straighten it out all you want but the next hit it will crush the same way but faster
i thought exactly the same thing its now a weak area
for what it would cost to replace its worth the extra $$ for safety
Yeah, don't understand that move on his part
Yes that is the correct way to do it, however that part is not a frame rail, so its unlikely to have a measurable impact on the vehicles safety and crumple zone. It's just holding the fender/headlight, so not really of much of a concern.
@asusreviews that is the upper rail aka the apron. It still a structural rail....
@@vincebucaro2634 You could argue ever part is structural if its supporting something. This rail is not part of the front crash bar and frame rails which are primary supports of the car.
Man, those previous owners were some real messy people, it is so dirty! yuck...
Keep those episodes coming mate!
Like Bobby used to beat Whitney lmao
Love your videos! 👍
Back in business!!!
please use rubber gloves. you never know what biohazard these druggies have cooking inside these cars. love that frame machine you built
My favorite Chanel 🎉
man you deserve much more subrcibers, cheers from Italy!
He absolutely deserves more subscribers!
I am surprised you contacted the old owner. Personal opinion is it works well when cleaning out a vehicle to save anything that may have value (monetary or otherwise) and put it in a box just in case it needs to go back to that prior owner. Of course, I work with rental trucks, so its a more common issue. Other than that, looking good out there.
That is more then a "moderate damage" to me. But you can make it easy looking.
Ps. I had a door's lower side to repair and I did not get the body line perfect as it was a hard turn on it. Pro tips?
Of course someone who lives like this would leave powdered grandma in their car. Very low conscientiousness.
I was glad to wake up on a Friday morning and see your video ! Interesting rebuild glad to see you back . 👍
How do you say you live like a slop without saying it?

Like Bobby beat Whitney?!?!?! LOL!!!!
You make it look so easy 🔥🔥🔥
That thing was gross. Always amazes me that a car is one of the most expensive purchases of your life, yet people just trash them. I got those undies... they don't fit well lol.
Making good progress on the repairs. Looking forward to your next video, hopefully it won't be too long.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That active war zone, had me worried for a second.
4th of July, a loud day for animals.
You are very talented!
Great job 👍
New ep so quickly. Loooooovely!
nice job! thanks for the video :)
Great info as always 👍
Good job, nice fix
Both this Kia and the Mazda you did recently would be Statutory Write-offs here in Australia. That equates to a Parts Title in the US. They total cars here for a lot less damage that what you are repairing.
Yippee, we have a new project video series!!!! Love your videos.
You are lucky you could use a key to unlock the doors and start the car. If we try that with our 2004 Hyundai Getz, it sets off the alarm and disables the car. So if the fob gets a flat battery, you basically can't drive it until you replace the battery (cell to be correct), Definitely not a good idea. Overboard security!!
You probably have a failed key cylinder sensor, it sits on the end of the cylinder to detect if the key was "turned" Otherwise it thinks it was a break in opening of the door
@@Eastahtata This car does not have that. It's just how the alarm works.
What make and model is your frame puller?
I built that frame rack myself... I did a video on that build, if you're interested here is the link to that vid: ua-cam.com/video/krCki0BT8Fw/v-deo.html
@@fix206 ok, ill check it out, thanks.
