I totally agree about taking care of our own machine issues when at all possible. I don’t want to take a machine in, such a time and money waste! I always look up on UA-cam and/or machine manuals.

I bought the black light from Amazon,came in a package of 2. You told us not to take it in the bathroom and well I did. Was horrified. So I have a housekeeper and I showed it to her and she was as horrified so I gave her the 2nd one and she couldnt wait to use it in her sons bathroom. I now have 2 very sanitized bathrooms around. 😂 she uses it in all her jobs now.

Hi this past weekend we got down to 12 at night and high of 19 during the day. It started warming up today Monday at 34. One of our water pipes broke that goes to my washing machine. We have not gotten this cold in a long time, Washington State. Have a great week.
I love how you said we have to be self sufficient! So true! Especially when the machines are so big and heavy, and if hubby isn't available, how do you get it in the shop? And then, like you say, if they are backed up, you will be without your machine for too long! Thank-you for the 3-1/2 inch template! You are the best!! We are so lucky to have you! 🥰

I love the Clear Blue designs. You can use 2 different hoop size designs and the look like they go together. The size of the design does not get smaller with the smaller hoop design. No ends of the design to match up.
We had 9 degrees in central AR and snow.
I work at a shop and the problems we see when people start messing with their machines because they think they know what they're doing is unbelievable. They look at UA-cam, take stuff apart, lose pieces and then end up with a worse mess. We're not always out to take peoples money but so often it will cost the customer more than if they had just come in and asked.
I couldn't agree more! While I'm a firm DIY'er, others have no business touching a screwdriver. Hope it didn't come across to blow off shop techs. I'm all about troubleshooting things yourself and then not biting off more than you can chew. The discussion was about changing tension on a bobbin case. But I'll straighten things out tomorrow morning. I'm so glad you wrote this comment! Thank you!

Watch you tube video's on how to time your long arm. I did it and it worked out ok. I've never found a you tube video that was not good in one way or another.

I have failed to get my hoop installed right on my 6 needle. Yep, throws things off.
I will call my service tech and he will walk me through fixing it on the phone, no charge.
I see that both the blocks on row 2 and 3, middle position are the same. Is that intentional or need to be switched.
I’m having trouble with my scan and cut. I have the SD 325, my mat was going in crooked and I fail to hit pause and pulled back. No when I try to upload mat it does not recognize mat.
It must be a user error. But this was my first time to use and now I’m stuck. If you could help out I appreciate any feedback thx

It’s a shame kimberbell doesn’t do downloadable designs for people that live outside the USA. I see she uses cds for her designs, but my laptop doesn’t take cds (think they are a thing of the past now)
Their background quilting designs are downloads, but their actual projects are still using physical media because it's sold in quilt stores. I purchased an external CD reader to use with my laptop in that case.
