My 9 year old grandson is so into sewing! He said when he turns 16 he doesn’t want a car…he wants a sewing machine!! ❤❤❤ We’ll he just inherited the farm!! 😂
And THAT'S what I mean about earning grammy points! lol Good for him!
Boy my cats would love that project board. lol
Good luck with your new ProStitcher software. It has a bit if a learning curve. I have faith in you!
Shared also.😊
I started my granddaughter around 12 and now she sews circles around me. Not afraid of any machine I have, just pops in and goes and I just stand back and smile oroudly
Good for her! And good for you for sharing your love of stitching with her. :)
Love it when you show us about the software! I need all the help I can get--and you were talking about doing things in our sewing rooms, well, I get overwhelmed and then I watch your videos and see how much fun you are having and it brings me back and "just sew something"!🥰
Today's computer help was so useful! Thank you so much. Trying to put all the components together so I can create like you. This is so cool and I'm eager to learn.
Oh how cute. I haven't even used my Serger. She's doing great,
When you start figuring out Pro Stitcher please do videos. I have had the machine for 3 years and haven't touched it yet. Your teaching style is great - you get down to "newbie" level and don't leave out any of the details. So very helpful and I need so very much help with Pro Stitcher.
Jo Anne from Jachin AL good morning
love your show learn a lot
Hardest part is cutting the pretty fabric.
I bounce off color/fabric selections off my sisters. They always help me decide
The best reason ever to buy Embrilliance multiple registrations for life! Congratulations on learning how to echo on stitch Artist 2
I’ve discovered that when .using metallic thread you need a top stitch needle and everything else that you recommended. And all that but I also stitch with the thread running thru the my thumb and forefinger to make sure the kinks are unkinked before it reaches the needle.
Will you quilt the entire quilt edge to edge or will you use your echo technique around the trees and objects?
I think your roof fabric will look pretty with the the lighter fabric, good call !
On the metallic thread Christopher Nejman has great setup for metallics
I have modified his setup and solved the problems
Can you use that Echo button in SA2 to echo an embroidery design?
My appliqué is several pieces. When I import the design it won't let me echo it. What am I doing wrong?
Good morning. On Thumbnailer when you install Select View PDF. The PDF comes up on how to install and under Reguirements it tells you "Install with an account that has administrator privileges." Hope this helps.
The hardest part for me is that everything is computerized and has software. As a senior, I have to constantly learn how to use each item in my home. Just turning on the TV, with all the different remotes, Roku, sound bar, smart TV, is confusing. Each sewing machine is different. My emb. machine has different software. My Scan N Cut has different software. Then you have to try and remember all those different things. My husband bought a phone that filters out scam calls. I can barely answer it. It is all just too much. But I won't give up. I don't know if I am losing my mind, getting forgetful, or if it is just because I am part of the generation that was not raised with computers.
As Becky says. You need to be the boss of your items. You only need to learn and use what you want and/or need. I am 76 and got my first computer in 1983. The starter of IBM was a faciitator on my management course. He told us the software/computer must work for us, not the other way round. This was sound advice and I have never forgotten it. By the way, I live in South Africa.
@@patmartin8147 The things I am trying to learn, I do want and need, cause I want to sew a lot and embroider a lot and try all these new things.
My Alexa-which we had to name “Echo” because our granddaughter’s name is Alexa- is absolutely going crazy! Every time it hears you say Echo, it is waiting for a command. I have my Christmas tree lights connected through wi-fi and because it hears you saying “Christmas tree” it is really confused! 😂😂😂
OMG!!! That's hilarious! I'm so sorry. But how are we embroiderers and quilters supposed to communicate if we can't say Echo? We echo quilt all the time! lol
@@PowerToolsWithThread Don’t be sorry. It WAS hilarious! My husband asked how the Christmas tree lights got turned on. You should have heard me trying to explain it to him why they were on and what echo quilting was without using the word!😂
What is the difference between admin account and a user account?
Admins have more permissions on the computers than regular users.
Stitch Artist do you have to buy 1 first or can you just get Stitch Artist 2
You can just buy 2, it includes 1.
I bought my granddaughter a Brother sewing machine a couple of years ago. When I asked later how she was doing I was told that it was such a “dumb gift”. My feelings were hurt because she had asked for it. She doesn’t like the machine or me either.
Oh so sad my friend. Perhaps it's best to just sew for you, do what you love, and then donate what you've made to charity. I know sometimes I make things my family wouldn't like, like my recent Praises quilt wouldn't be appreciated in my son's church because they don't sing those hymns in the panels. So I'm donating that quilt to the local Presbyterian church who still sings traditional hymn songs. I've learned to sew for me. By the way, it's not a dumb gift at all! They'll wish they knew how to use it when they need a button sewn on! I read your comment to Keith and he said, "Tell her to take it back!" lol
Is this comments working?
I guess it is
