@@faspete2nd I've heard that using a silicone cooking mat and turning while pressing down is a good strategy, also it's much less of a problem with bronze instead of aluminium step down rings (but those are more expensive)
The hum may be solved by a Furman Power Conditioner or a HumX. Many places to get them, but I always use Sweetwater! I just picked up an M6 MK II. Great video, and Sub'd!
Thank You Peter. I have watched DOZENS of videos about cameras and Really appreciated your no-nonsense approach. Also covering both pros and cons felt truly genuine. Also, earned a like and Sub.
OMG. I gasp when you brought out that massive multi-grip tool! another great video.
I know! I was holding my breath while using it. I was waiting to hear a crunch as I was trying to get the filter off.

@@666Tomato666thanks for the tip! I've never seen bronze rings, but I've also never looked that hard to find them.
I'm definitely putting the backpack clip and the L-bracket on my wish list 😊 All the items in the video are great items to have 😊👍🏼
The camera clip is a must when hiking, vlogging, or just walking around. It makes carrying the camera so much easier.
Peter, all this time following your great M6ii content and i swore i had subscribed long ago. Here’s your sub, good sir.
Thanks! Much appreciated. New one coming out today Dec. 28th.
Does anyone have a top 5? Share in the comments below.
Thanks for the info. My top 5 are 5 lenses 😀
I'm right there with you. Lenses are a good investment.
Hi, one question: Does the plate, when attached to the M6 II, block the battery compartment cover and make changing battery difficult?
No. It's even adjustable so you can slide the plate even further away from the battery door if you want.
@@faspete2nd thanks a lot!

nice sir
Thanks!
@@faspete2nd you are welcome
Don’t see any links to the power adapter and dummy battery
Amazon did not have a link. You need to go to Canon site and buy directly from there
It took 3 months to get mine. They were always on backorder.
I bought an aftermarket version, it cost me next to nothing and works fine. I got it off Ebay.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the support.
Believe me. You are not the only one using channellock pliers on lens..😁😁😁
It seemed to be the best tool for the job at the time. Probably won't be the last time I use it.
