I scrolled through your videos after watching an Olympic Peninsula video (going there soon) and saw this - I was born in Edinburgh! You did a fabulous job of sharing this very cool close to my heart city. I went back there as a 25 year old with my dad & years later, with my husband scattered a third of my dad’s ashes all over Scotland.
Can’t believe your in the U .K. been watching you for a while now seeing your take on Scotland and when I watch you camping I wish I was in your country. Going to Scotland in my camper next month it’s about 5hrs away for me.
Nice!! Well howdy neighbor! Lol. Thanks for the support from afar! We are so jealous. While we were over there all we could think about is how fun it'd be to have our Jeep and trailer with us. May have to come back 🤔
Nice video! Did I hear you say you are from Washington State? Me too! Can you tell me what camera and microphone you are using? It looks and sounds phenomenal. Gonna visit Scotland in July and your videos have made me even more excited to go. Whisky Experience: Better than just trying other whisky elsewhere? Thanks! And again...thanks for the great and informative videos.
Thanks, John! We are from Washington 👍🏻 We use our phones, GoPro 8, and occasionally a Sony a6600. So glad the quality is coming through, as we spend a lot of time on audio editing as it isn't always so good lol. The whisky experience is great if you are new to it or want to learn more. It definitely made tasting around town after a lot more rewarding. Thanks for the support!!
Love this! Scotland is on our travel bucket list. My wife and I also just picked up our 1st camper, a little 5x10, we’ve taken our maiden voyage and have several lined up (although, we won’t be getting near as off grid as y’all get 😂). Love following y’all’s adventures! Cheers from Texas 🍻
love the video guys. What month did you guys travel to Scotland? My wife and I are going in June .Thinking of bring Canada cloths as where we are from.hahahahah
Thanks, Dave!! We went in February so it'll be a bit warmer. We're in Seattle and found the climate very similar so think you'd be good to bring whatever you'd wear at home eh 😉 🇨🇦🤝🏻🇺🇲🤝🏻🏴 Have an amazing trip!!!
Beautiful and informative video guys! You've convinced me, I'm going to book a trip to Scotland for next year!!! After all, my male orange tabby cat is named, "Scotch Whiskey"! Scotchie for short. 😸 🏴🥃
It depends on whether you want to see just old town or more of the city. For old town/the Royal Mile probably 3 days and add one or two more to explore further. Hope this helps!
I loved Edinburgh and Scotland! But, you can’t go to Scotland and not play golf! St. Andrew’s and Carnoustie were incredible. The scotch makes up for the cold.
Its something to think that the castle gates you walked through today had hundreds upon hundreds of young men killed in battle wi' big swords trying to get through that same entrance. They found 8 or 9 maybe ?more skeletons under the gates entrance during reno's in 1990s
Yes, the history hit us heavy. Grateful to have these eye opening experiences and to be able to feel, not just see our worlds history. So different than the US.

How many days do you recommend to tour Edinbourgh?
