Thanks! I have a 2010 Precedent 48v and just purchased the 48v 2x Eagle kit. Received the kit yesterday and had it all installed but wasn’t sure what to do with the old charge port and wires. Thanks for the detailed description!
I was just looking at this exact battery for my stock 14 Club Car. Curiousas I saw in one of your responses that you are on hilly terrain with it.... I have one hill in particular that concerns me with it, its approximately 1/4 mile and at least a 20 degree grade, have you ran into any issues at all with grades with 2 people on board?
I didn’t do anything with the motor connections just took the factory connections along with the big battery, charger connections, and put everything all on one stud
Great video. i purchased the same unit that you used in the video. i have a light kit and USB ports for charging on my club car. i'm guessing that i don't have to do anything other than swap out the batteries and they will still work?
I'm confused. The Club Car Onward doesn't have a built in voltage reducer? How does it reduce the voltage for the factory LED headlights and USB charger from the 48V lead acid batteries?@@kartkrazy
Can you show us how you are going to make a plate for your charger socket. The hole is round and at an angle not sure what materiel to use as a faceplate? Thanks!
I love the single battery!! For my needs and works perfect. Running around the neighborhood and hauling people is all I do about 20 to 30 miles per charge which for me equates to about once every 2 to 3 weeks.
What is the mileage from the 60AH eagle kit. 2015 Precedent, plum quick bandit motor, Navitas 440/600 controller, 23x14 wheels 6” lift. Haven’t ordered batteries yet. Debating between the 60AH Eagle and the 96AH Badger 2.
Lots of variables… what type of terrain, driving habits, how many passengers on the cart, etc. Personally I get around 20-30 on a stock cart, 1-2 passengers, hilly terrain, driving like an old lady.
I just upgraded my precedent using a 110ah lithium battery from an evolution cart. My battery pack had posts so I’m guessing if the lithium battery pack has pos and neg posts, you don’t have to install those posts right?
I really like the falcon elite kit but if you need long range, you might want the double Eagle kit… would probably give you 10 to 15 more miles per charge
Do I need that specific charger or can I use my aftermarket 48v charger that I have in the stock location on my club car ds? Thanks for the video, I plan to get this battery.
@@kartkrazy Thanks for the quick response. I'm leaning towards the falcon elite, I currently have 6 8v batteries, would it be a decent upgrade for all of those?
Great video. Can you please do a video on how to add a 12volt reducer to power headlights. I’m about to purchase the 48V Badger Big Battery kit and that’s the one thing I’m confused about in the process. Thanks so much.
So when the OBC finally determines that the battery has not been charged and locks out the controller you're gonna be there to run right over and help huh?
Not sure why that would happen with the OBC unplugged. At that point it’s basically not existent and has nothing to do with the aftermarket battery and charger. Been doing it this way for years without a problem.
@@haley2993 if you’re going with the Big Battery set up with the supplied charger from Big Battery , I would definitely recommend unplugging the OBC as shown in the video
One last question. Different topic. It how are people securing these light weight batteries? Thief prevention? I secure my cart but would be hard to open up seat and carrying one battery away. ? Thoughts?
Thanks for watching!! A Precedent is DC. In order to make it AC you would have to do an DC to AC conversion kit…replacing both the controller and the motor.

Video is great and I'm about to purchase this one based on your video. 2000 Ds ClubCar conversion to Falcon Elite
Awesome!!
You won’t be disappointed!
That was "literally" excellent!
Thank you!!
Like the video but how is the reliability on bigbattery Falcon Elite as owner...many videos are promoting not owners
Thanks for watching!!
I personally have not had 1 single issue with bigbattery…

Zero issues with the battery however, that may strain your motor and controller with that type of grade
I missed when the batter was connected to the motor. Was that what the posts were for?
I didn’t do anything with the motor connections just took the factory connections along with the big battery, charger connections, and put everything all on one stud

@@kartkrazy does the club car have a built in reducer or do I need to purchase one?
@jsredd22 need to purchase

Good point.. some people wire to 2 of the 8v lead acid batteries. Otherwise it would have a voltage reducer somewhere if it has lights and a USB
Thanks for the good content. 👍 Were those studs you purchased 1/4"? Subbed to follow along on new stuff. Keep it comin'!
Thanks for watching.
Studs are 5/16

Three months ago, I did a video, entitled “custom charging port” …that one goes into a lot more detail if you want to look at that
Great video. Is the single battery enough?
I love the single battery!! For my needs and works perfect. Running around the neighborhood and hauling people is all I do about 20 to 30 miles per charge which for me equates to about once every 2 to 3 weeks.
I just installed a 2 battery kit from Big Battery. My question is: Dose the charger shut off once the batteries are charged?

When doing to eagle package on an RXV 2017 what wires from the charging plug do I need to bypass and how? Thank you
Responded on Facebook
I installed this kit today. But lights and aftermarket radio not turning on. Any ideas?
Did you hook the voltage reducer back up?
Looking to do this conversion. What is the part # for the extra anderson plug/cable and does a 12v converter just go to the terminal studs also?
BB175 is the bigbattery part number and yes the converter goes to the studs also

It has to be a lithium charger

@philipsgarage absolutely!! It’s my favorite set up
Make sure to use my promo code “Stege10”
@@kartkrazy Thank you sir, will do!
Have you had any issues with the solenoid or controllers after bigbattery installs?
Zero..have been excellent!!
Why not pu the charger under the seat too? Then just use a normal extension cord to the port?
Not a waterproof charger
They make a waterproof charger for that battery@@kartkrazy
