First warm weather day of this year caused some craziness. SMH!
People just start acting like animals
Man, this is total chaos 😯
Wow, I was nervous for you. You have the right bike for it. That's for sure. I was riding around small city harrisburg PA the other day. That was like a country road compared to NYC. 😅
Yeah definitely have to have your head on a swivel
Hey from Canada. Nice ride. I'm amazed just how much people are on bicycle or riding e vehicle anywhere you go at any one place. I'm rocking the Vsett 11+ Grey.
Nice! How do you like it?
🙏🏾👑🙏🏾I'm Just now Seeing This Video, It's another Kool One from You. Love the Bike Path You Choosen for your Ride. I Love to go Over Bridges and Any Road with a Straighter away. 😁👍🏾 and as Always I Seen the Lady In the Car That kind of Cut You off, getting In the Bike Lane. 😌 They have all the Street at Less they can Give Us Our Bike Lanes. 🙂 But Just another Great Video From You. 😊✌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚴🏾♀🚴🏾♀🚴🏾♀🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thanks Bee Strong! Appreciate the kind words! I’m still trying to figure out the safest (and most efficient) route. This city sometimes throws chaos in your path tho
So True. We just got to Stay aware. 👍🏽✌🏽🙏🏽
as someone who commutes with an electric citi bike in nyc every day, this is all common. you've gotta watch out for the delivery drivers - they follow ZERO traffic laws, always on their phone, super random, ignorant, and just bad drivers. most drivers in nyc are quite horrible. anyone who has been to the dmv in nyc to get their permit/license would know because the tests are literally capable of being completed by infants whose only knowledge of traffic laws consists of red means stop and green means go, which isnt enforced in the city regardless
I luv sur ron and speed just like everyone else. BUT the bottom line is that . Pedestrians Always have the Right Of Way... Period. The problem is that you think your riding a bicycle but your not.
Sure thing boss
@@SurronNYC💀😂😂
Pedestrians don't always have the "right of way" if you evaluate they might run at you to knock you off the bike and take it.
@animejanai4657 Hit one, then go to court, and you will see ... or better yet, hit me or my family, and you won't have to go to court. You will know.
Man it must be crazy living in NYC
Hey man, nice commute! I appreciate the ride 🤣. YT algorithm really came thru for me lol. let me cut to the chase 😤😤😤. what surron did you use for this video? the surron light bee, the X? etc. How did you make it street legal in Nyc? I honestly appreciated the video, I'm looking for an ebike that would take me for long distance rides; on that note how many miles did you drive that day and how was the battery life, 60% 45% etc. thank you for the response. I'ma subscribe, keep up the great content.
Hey thanks man! Appreciate the kind words. The Surron light bee and Surron X are the exact same thing. I have the 2022 Surron Light Bee (or X). I have turn signals, mirrors, working brake light on mine, but I believe the pedal kit with cadence sensor are what make it “compliant” with the law since I can limit the bike to 25mph with the flip of a switch and the pedals are operable.
This trip is about 14 miles total, and I usually have about 68-72% left when I get to my destination. That being said, I am soon getting a new American made battery by ChiBattery that will push the range to even greater distances. Stay tuned for more on that soon.
That's awsome. thanks for the links to the accessories, that helps a lot. Also, have you tried going for longer distances like 25 or 30 miles or you just strictly ride in Nyc? i would imagine that your on eco mode, right?
Oh yeah I’ve gone for longer distances. I just don’t upload the raw footage from those trips because they’re so long. Usually it’s me and a bunch of friends to a long rideout to the Bronx or to Long Beach or rockaways. Those I trim down into a short form video with highlights.
For these 14 mile trips I am in sport mode the whole time. On longer trips I put on eco mode if I am getting dangerously low on battery and need to conserve. We usually try to find a charging spot while we grab a bit or coffee on the way. Always good to take a break anyway.
@@SurronNYC Alright sounds good. Thanks for the insight and links for the asscesories, that saves me alot of time. keep up the great content.

*Subbed!*
Thank you friend! 🙏🏻
New People, new day New York
This is why I moved to the country my friend. I hated having to be so mean just to get from A to B.
I’m about to do the same
just curious, what borough do you live in and where do you store the bike? ive wanted a talaria for a while but cant see it being a viable commute option as my only idea of where to store it would be at a storage unit in redhook.
I’m in South Brooklyn and store my bike in my apartment. No way I would leave it outside in this city
@@SurronNYC like in the basement? and you have no issues getting it up/down stairs or scratching walls?
@friedyt I just take it up in the elevator up to my apartment
W.T.F scooter boy wait your turn MoFo
Bro really thought he could overtake me lol
Where can I find those rear view mirrors?
Check the video description
Do these types of bikes need to be registered??
U got peddles on yours?
Yes I have pedals
48 seconds in & the only thing obnoxious is your riding.
How so
