Tokyo Ghoul's history might be quite imperfect but the anime has a great soundtrack. I never imagined it would sound so impressive in a metal style.

Have you seen the manga? Its better than the anime , if we're talking about history and character evolution
@@_3_lowa_3_99 I've read the whole manga and didn't find it that impressive. The drawing quality is variable, sometimes stunning, others lazy/messy. Something similar happens to the story. Some parts are thrilling but others are absolutely boring. In general, TG isn't outstanding. Of course, I don't think it deserves all the hate it's received. It's a nice work to read but completely forgettable.

Tokyo Ghoul may have had one of the worst anime adaptations, but the ost was all worth it. Unravel, Glassy Sky, On My Own, Licht Und Schatten, Alone, Wanderers, Katharsis, Asphyxia, play any of those and I'll start vibing to the max
I mean, the anime is by all means inferior to the manga but "one of the worst"? You people need to stop using this term so lightly
@@sharavy6851 bro the entirety of the second season is non-canon, kaneki never left to join aogiri, and the ending was completely different from the manga. edit: this might seem like only a few small changes to you, but it ends up affecting the entire story and character arcs significantly
@@REvoLverj98 "Small changes to you hurr durr". I've read all of tokyo ghoul and the manga is obviously miles better than the anime (which I don't even like). All I'm saying is people use the words "one of the worst/one of the best" waaaay too lightly nowadays (Although I guess you aren't too far off in this case)
@@sharavy6851 yeah, I guess you could say that. I do tend to be impulsive and not get the perfect word for what I'm trying to convey. What I'm trying to say is that it's not very accurate to the source material, and for that I see it as a failure of an adaptation. Season 2 doesn't get a pass though. I stand by my opinion that it's the worst thing to happen to the series

I miss Tokyo Ghoul...
I still liked the 2nd season (or technically 3rd and 4th season?), despite beeing "NoN cAnOn" to the manga.
Sometimes you just gotta enjoy things for what they are and ignore the "non canon"-aspect.
DITF for example: manga ending was preferred by most over the anime ending. After reading the manga post watching the anime, I gotta say, I prefer the ending over the manga ending. But that would be just me probably, or perhaps I'm getting too old to jump on the "reee its non canon, therefore its bullshit"-train.
Its not only cause its not canon, its cause it just left out important shit, was rushed, confusing, had bad animation after season 1 etc. Its just not a good anime in general, i just want it to get rebooted
