This cover was fun. It's such a great soundtrack, sadly they used it just once or twice in the anime, I think. Not enough in my opinion.
I listened to Licht und Schatten and Symphonie the whole time while I was reading Tokyo Ghoul. God, that
was such a great experience. Everyone who hasn't read the manga of Tokyo Ghoul yet: READ IT! NOW!

+Rakeem Beckett-Scott It dosent make me feel sad per ce. I think its more like the opponent begins to understand eachother, thus not wanting to fight. When this music plays in Amon Vs Kanneki I do feel sad but happy that they finally want to put down their weapons and talk.

So I just readed this guy description and I was surprised by 1 thing why doesn't he let anyone use his music? All the other ppl who made remix from this song let others to use their songs. I mean he just putted some orchestral effect. It's still way too similiar to original song. So if he havent change song so much why doesn't he let others use this cover? Because the original creator did not created his song so 1 guy could edit a little bit and then claim this song as his own unique creation. That's really scummy in my opinion. If I said something wrong then please tell me because this guy is suspicious to me. I'm not saying that ppl must reupload his cover but just use it in something like gaming videos. You know the usual stuff. If that's not allowed I want to know if he has the right to do so.

Honestly, the drums you've added on this makes it sound like a Hiroyuki Sawano cover of Licht and Schatten, and I absolutely dig it. The texture, the pattern and everything sounds really cohesive. Can't wait for more of your covers!

This is a great rendition of a great reminder that the anime wasn't all bad...
It gave us good music for Tokyo Ghoul and--well that's close to it. Still more than enough. Even the title of this song proves that the composer GOT Tokyo Ghoul in a way that those studio clowns didn't, since it reminds me of Kafka's Metamorphosis. The anime didn't even reference that, but it's a pretty good analogy for what Kaneki goes through.

this is a really awesome soundtrack, of course it is used in the anime~
try watching the second episode again, this soundtrack is used in the scene where yoshimura and kaneki are having a conversation while hide is lying on the bed.

It is also used near the ending of the final fight in Season 1 episode 5.
