Aside from the agni kai with zuko and azula. The most memorable agni kai that comes to my mind is Zuko vs Commander Zhao.

This is definitely the most rememberable scene in avatar for me. From the fight itself to Azula breaking down, a really good moment overall.

I could have sworn there was one. It was at least 5 years ago on a school computer, but I remember being positively ecstatic that with the right combo you could get the firebender to shoot lightning. Maybe on newgrounds? the website also had a Billy and Mandy sidescroller.

The OST of ATLA is just something else. Allthroughout memorable and good music. Fitting perfectly to the theme, the scenes and characters. Absolute Masterpiece of an animated series (or anime. Just accept it, ATLA is best anime :D)

@@Drallimer Except in the grand scheme of things, blue people avatar is WAY more popular and widely known, as its one of the highest grossing films of all time. So when you say just "Avatar" people automatically think of that, instead of ATLA, hence the abbreviation.

@@Drallimer Altough in this context not needed. Its at this point just habit calling it ATLA. It also helps differentiating between Legend of Korra and ATLA. As some may use "Avatar" even for Korra. So. ATLA is here to stay. If anything else its a habit now.
Also Mr. Person said it correctly. We may take it for granted but Avatar is still one of the highest grossing movies of all time and ATLA, altough super popular due to its extensive runtimes on channels like Nickelodeon and now even watchable via Netflix. Its still easier to say and differentiate

@@Alexl23l273 She never delivered the final blow and attacked an observer, forfeiting her win. Even if you count Zuko blocking the lightning as an attack on Zuko, she then hit Katara afterwards, which still counts as attacking an observer and breaking the most basic rule of Agni Kai: 1 on 1.

The true power of an Avatar is globalization
No, really. Everyone lived in their own bubble. Airbenders top of mountains, earth benders inside walls, water benders in cold places surrounded by water, fire benders in more modern towns.
And everything comes crashing once someone comes up with the idea of imperialism. Neat
Well thats the way that they preserve their unique cultures. Globalization(especially the extreme one that wants to remove all borders) destroys cultures. Its like mixing all the unique colours of a rainbow in to brown.
If that's true, why didn't any Avatar before Aang try to bring the four nations together? That's because it's not their responsibility. Their responsibility is to keep and restore the balance of the world. The idea of globalization in the avatar world wasn't a thing until one of the nations had a period of great prosperity and wealth and decided that they wanted to share that with the rest of the world (aka imperialism). The US has done it, the Japanese has done it, Britain has done it, etc. After the hundred year war, they were left with Water Tribesmen scattered across the Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation former colonists mixing with people from the Earth Kingdom. Eventually, the Republic of United Nations and Republic City was formed so that benders and non benders could live together.
@@cesarperez1835 Imperialism has always existed, even in Avatar. Chin the Conqueror didn't exactly just pop up out of nowhere, the time before Yangchen was said to be very instable and it's also heavily implied numerous times that the Water Tribes were once an imperialistic power.

LoA is focuses on balance between different cultures, and countrys, where lok trys to solve problems who are there because every aspect of nationalism is destroyed
