- In Episode 10 I strip the front subframe of all its parts so it can be taken for blasting and powder coating.
This was one of the Episodes I was most wary about as I was pretty clueless to begin with. But by the end of it I definitely have a better understanding of the subframe and all of its components. Really looking forward to getting the subframe and parts cleaned up and put back together.
Thanks for watching.

Clear and well produced video.
Thanks.
Thanks. 👍👍
I am very jealous. Your 30 year old car is or rather did come apart a lot easier than my jazz does and it's under half it's age. Great video fella
Good honest video buddy. 👍
Thanks. This is by far the hardest project Ive ever taken on...bit out my comfort zone if im honest :-)
You are doing it the best way of taking photos and their is some lads on here if your stuck like William Murfitt
Yeah the mini community have been great. Everyones helpful and passionate about their minis and keen to help others to get their cars back on the road. Hoping by the end of my build I'll have a little knowledge to give back :-)
Great video
Thanks. I feel like I’m starting to understand things a bit better now although I’ve still a long way to go 😊👍
You're learning as you go lol also try and restore/keep as much as you as new parts can be shit 👍👍
Yeah...when I first started I was all for buying new. But as time goes by I can see the importance of restoring and re
using the existing parts. I’m quite looking forward to cleaning and restoring as much as I can now. 😊
a trick : watch movies on flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Victor Diego Yup, have been watching on flixzone for years myself :)
You are better to use original panels when you can but a lot of restored cars have re manufactured panels
Yeah i think my preference is definitely for original parts and panels where possible. :-)
