As a person that’s had suffering from mental health, Kiama Council has supported me in that role.
It's only from support and events, that's how I understand all this Man Walk and bonding and meeting people and being out there and not to be ashamed.
I'd like to thank Kiama Council, this is a great event, a great thing to do for the community showing that they support their staff, all their staff 100% behind him for a Man Walk every year.
It's the best thing they have done. One of the best donations I have put their money towards.

A huge part of what The Man Walk does is connect and strengthen communities.
    The same as Council.
The ripple effect that we can have by having a Man Walk in your LGA, getting blokes together, walking and talking and feeling connected: that spreads through the whole community.
Better men can have better conversations, be better husbands, better fathers, better mates.
That effect of being able to come together and walk and talk and then use that positive energy in their community is really powerful.
Kiama Council has been amazing in sponsoring and promoting what we're doing.
This is a program we'd like to roll out all through Australia, and I'd really encourage all local government areas, all councils, all CEOs to get behind The Man Walk.
Find a little bit of event funding so we can come and visit you guys.
Put on a walk and talk about The Man Walk in your area and give some mental fitness education as well.
It's making a massive difference to communities.
