Great to see Con Hill back and in top form. Backed him for both Festival wins but no bet despite the 6/4 offer today. It's a good result for racing fans. Lossie ran well but she finally met a good one today over 2 miles.
This was a mark of a true great horse 🐎. After all his injuries he's come back and done this. You could see him improving throughout the race. His jumping was sketchy early on then the second part of the race he was back jumping impeccably. He'll improve for every run he has until the champion. If he gets another run in before the CH he'll win the CH with as much ease as he ever has. He's now proven to me he has what it takes to be a horse of a lifetime. Loved this performance more than any of his others
Beautiful wasn’t it! He actually had more than I expected him to have given his health problems in the past year from the flu-type Virus that wiped out Nicky’s yard to the awful colic and breathing problems and some more minor injuries I think Nicky Henderson deserves a little more respect as he is not just “saving” him for big outings, the horse will tell us he quotes and that is how I personally want to hear a trainer talk. A healthy and happy CH who can continue his progression training and possibly have a ride out somewhere to stretch him could very conceivably turn up at Cheltenham with another 20-30% and be the best he’s ever been and that’s what Nico says he believes possible so Lossiemouth better get an outboard motor fitted!😂

No doubt this horse is the best around - But let's not get too carried away. He is the best of a seriously bad lot. The fact he can win a grade 1 after a year off says more about the opposition than it does about Constitution Hill. Lossiemouth is the best of the rest, and she isn't even a 2 mile hurdler. It's great to see he is still capable of winning at the top level, because it is good for racing. He is a very good hurdler. That's it.
The third looked like it was about to challenge again when he made a dreadful mistake at the last, glad to see Constitution Hill making a winning return though, racing needs horses like him.
@@Myles-Sherlock Considering his birthday is after the Champion hurdle he won't officially be 9 until March the 17th 2026, Which means he is more than able to win at least a couple more Champion Hurdles

Mullins saying his horse wasn't right...hmm Hes more of a stayer and what do they need a strong pace ..he got it The problem was CH needs that too but he has more gears and thats what caught Lossimouth out...a horse that gave him 7 lbs and was a better jumper with at least 2 more gears...ie a much better horse Mullins sorry.!! One thing i would say i think CH as hes getting older needs more work more runs and you will see an ever better horse. Imagine that...🇬🇧
To be realistic. The horse that came in second is better than the horse that came in first. But the jockey made the horse run late. More accurately, the jockey is not aware that the horse he is riding is a better class horse than the horse that won the race. I was sad while watching the race. I back Constitution hill but will need another run before Cheltenham as main rival was poor and burdett road finished only 6 lengths behind also got to think about bounce factor which does happen with some
should go well in this years turners
He will win 1 more champion hurdle then will be retired before he can try to equal the goat istabraq
@@Myles-Sherlock Considering his birthday is after the Champion hurdle he won't officially be 9 until March the 17th 2026, Which means he is more than able to win at least a couple more Champion Hurdles
Commented on someone’s comment earlier but i do have to say Mr Lewis is very quiet . #keepitshutinfuture
Burdett Road better horse than people thought? He had a chance to put it up to both when he made his mistake. Was going well. Him going that rapid was the reason Lossiemouth was so uncomfortable.
Burdett Road is a good horse, lost his momentum over the last
Yes Burdett Road is a proper horse... Hope they can find a Grade 1 with him somewhere.
He was weakening way before his mistake, but Good horse no doubt.
@@rapidreaper Ys Sir Gino might have won that today..... be interesting to see if they go back chasing now?
@@andrewwilliams4283 He runs tomorrow
Looks like lewis has turned off replies to his silly comment....🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think Henderson has well and truly had everybody’s pants down. He’s perfectly entitled to manipulate the prices of his horses leading up to big races. It’s up to us to second guess the situation. How much weight was CH Carrying in that Newbury gallop? Somebody might be making a mint if he wins the champion hurdle . 😂
Lossiemouth was 70% you could clearly see it....and i'm a CH fan! Shell be 10l better at Cheltenham but will that be enough?
She had a run constitution hill had not, your post makes no sense.
So if I go out for a jog and then wake up bad the next day and can't jog properly then you're saying I should be able to jog properly coz I jogged y'day? Do you know anything about horse racing or sport or athletics performance? 🤡
all those who doubted him he's back he's brushed the cobwebs away ready for Cheltenham
Thanks, Nicky & Nico lumped on and collected...😅
Constipation Pill is a three mile chaser in reality.
He’ll improve lots for that fresh as Fuk .. pulled all the way .. she’ll never get closer … wait for Cheltenham.. could be very very special 👀👀👀..
I knew this would be the result, the mare has never beat a proper 2 miler1 Easy for him!
@ oh yeah!! All the negativity around him from commentators dropped his price for March. Couldn’t believe I could get 4-1 on CH for the champ hurdle! Happy Days
BINOCULAR
SPINTER SACRE
CONSTITUTION HILL
Something missing here not the horse he was at all
So it went to form and ratings. Shock horror
If the horse remains injury free then it's unbackable for Cheltenham
Was never injured
@L33dsUn1ted4eva well let's hope the horse stays healthy
did townsend fall asleep at the start?
Slow start, but Lossiemouth was never travelling.
@@andrewwilliams4283 i think they were both asleep.she was only beaten 2 lengths at the end.they mustve thought they were in another irish race that crawl the first few furlongs.wasnt exactly fired up was she!
Nicky. Bravo.
Thank you Paddy also for kicking Matt Chipmunk , embarrassment to racing how he still holds a microphone let alone be the mouth piece to demented s great jockey Paddy Brennan.
Happy to see him back, not overly impressive at all.
Love the horse but not convinced
That will shut paddy Brennan up.
@laurettawatson6633 Nicos interview whilst walking in on CH was class..
Paddy Brennan you can shove that where the sun doesn't shine 😅
Lossi is super but just don't got the pace the great constitution has....
Mullins saying his horse wasn't right...hmm
Hes more of a stayer and what do they need a strong pace ..he got it
The problem was CH needs that too but he has more gears and thats what caught Lossimouth out...a horse that gave him 7 lbs and was a better jumper with at least 2 more gears...ie a much better horse Mullins sorry.!!
One thing i would say i think CH as hes getting older needs more work more runs and you will see an ever better horse.
Imagine that...🇬🇧
He cannot be the King he is not even the best horse in the Stable!!!!
Born bred and buttered in Ireland just like anything else useful in england
To be realistic. The horse that came in second is better than the horse that came in first. But the jockey made the horse run late. More accurately, the jockey is not aware that the horse he is riding is a better class horse than the horse that won the race. I was sad while watching the race. Victories are written by brave and courageous people. Today, there was a cowardly jockey.
Jesus Christ put down the crack pipe… how on earth are you saying Lossiemouth was the better horse there, against the greatest 2m hurdler in decades.
Lol all u racing players people say he is finished reas and weep
Lossiemouth had to much to do.
Townend was definitely not interested in winning that race big price for champion hurdle lossiemouth will hammer constitution hill . Get on the double galapin and lossiemouth at Cheltenham gold and champion hurdle
King Con! 👑
Comment's on here about sir gino would have won that today if thats the case when ballyburn beats gino tomorrow Mullins bring him back hurdling and he beat constitution hill anyday well if you're wondering why look at what sir gino did to ch just saying
That aged well Blair Foley .!
She gave him 3 lengths head start at the start????
Even she was 3 lengths infront the result will still be the same.
@
Maybe
Maybe not
You’re assuming he had an extra 6 lengths up his sleeve
I didn’t see evidence of that
Clutching at straws here. SHE HAD ZERO CHANCE OF BEATING HIM. THE END!
She’s just slow
@@elgransenor1472give it a rest. Lossiemouth completely out of her depth in a properly run male race, she’ll be sticking to the Mares come March unless they want to fight State Man for second place
Annoying commentator.
Anyone and everyone who understands racing were on Lossie today.
Facts.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣💀🙊
@@Martin.Lewis.Racing.Channel oof unlucky Martin 😂
What? So let’s just break this down. Anyone who knows anything about racing backed the horse who didn’t win, and was never ever going to win in a month of Sundays. To much Bailey’s and mince pies for you. Get him back to the dementia ward.
😂
👆👆 blind Hendo backers with their fingers crossed 😂😂😂😂
The runner up….ears flat to the board the whole way……they were either going to quick or something was up……the third…..gave up once the winner went by then flattened the last…..but still there was only eight lengths back….it was great to see CH back……but I can’t believe the runner up ran to stone of its best…..interesting….but it’s what racing badly needs…..
While they looking see if they can find
State man
Like i said after sir ginos demolition job, he’d beat his stable mate also no problem, in fact at the festival when lossie beats CH if Mullins doesn’t pull her out, I’ll be back to this comment
Chapman????? He won't run,,,,,,,,, sorry Matt clean that egg off your face
Paul Townend will want that again’ decent ground Kempton, way off the pack???? Back to 2 miles, mares allowance!! Poorly judged ride allowing that much rope’ very disappointing PT albeit CH is great, just the owner/trainer I hate 😊
