This is natural talent, No auto tune just beautiful voices. I was in high school when they were popular and I had all their records. For duos they were one of the greatest to come out of that era. God gave them beautiful voices for us to enjoy even today.
My era folks, LOVED Righteous Brothers, we had the best singers in the 60’s also listen to Bee Gees, all real brothers, sang since they were kids, all passed but Barry and he wrote their songs and for other artist. Only Barry left now😢
The greatest voices in a generation of amazing talent, no auto tune no modern equipment and it still is fire🤪. I was so blessed to grow up with this music and thrilled you are introducing it to more generations.
Absolutely love the Righteous Brother's version of this song. Their voices just so complemented each other, as with all their songs. Love listening to them.😍
They both had phenomenal voices.Bobby had the tenor and Bill Medley was the baritone voice they shouldn't have blended together but they did and it was pure magic. There will never be another male duo that will compare to them.Lidten to solos by them both you'll be surprise att the talent.
First time I have laughed HYSTERICALLY in a long time! Your reaction when Bobby hit that high note was priceless. Just wish I hadn't had a piece of chocolate candy in my mouth at the time. 💜😊💜
This is called blue-eyed soul. These guys were the best. Bobby Hatfield with his beautiful tenor voice & Bill Medley with his deeper voice. They were magic together. And remember this is done live. No auto-tuning crap like today. And the songs had meaningful beautiful lyrics. This is a really old song & was used in the 1945 Rodgers & Hammerstein musical "Carousel". Gerry & The Pacemakers had a hit with this song in 1963. And the Righteous Brother version is from 1965. Elvis Presley also covered it in 1967.
Roger’s and Hammerstein who wrote the music for Cinderella or The Sound of Music. This ding is from the broadway play Carousel. It’s an inspirational song that a mother sings to her daughter after the death of the kids father. It’s basically how the play ends. This is probably one of the best versions of that song that doesn’t sound like it’s a broadway musical. Their vocal range is unsurpassed. Going from so low to so ultra high. It just knocks you off guard but in a good way
Never watched you before and I was just waiting for 'that' moment and you did not disappoint. Your reaction was insane!! Sorry, but I just cracked out giggling. Bobby is always on point with everything he does. Thanks for the great reaction.
Older people have enjoyed so much different music. Some of the music from the past two is some of the greatest music ever. Glad to be old and have lived some of the best.
Love your show! Your music is the best. They were wonderful people too. They allowed my brother who was terminal to join them in their dressing rooms and he had such a wonderful memory. They gave him albums and it was something he remembered till the end.
Thank you for sharing that. They have a reputation for being personable and generous to the audiences at their shows. They and their music can be healing. 🎶💜
AB, you have made my night! When that note nearly jolted you out of your chair that was priceless! Everybody who was anybody made an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. I had the biggest crush on Bill Medley when I was growing up! So incredibly handsome and that deep fabulous voice, Oh Baby!
Love these guys! I was in high school when they came out. I just turned 74 yrs old last month. I will never forget when these came out. I have all their vinyl record albums and CD'S. I play their CD'S in my car all the time. How could you not love their voices togethers. Blessed from heaven. I use to fall asleep listening to them. 💖💖💖
Absolutely loved your reaction to this song. If I remember right They were entertaining some troops and some young black soldiers told them "you guys are righteous brothers!" They took that as their stage name.
I want to thank you. You’ve made me realize what I never realized before about the righteous Brothers, one starting and singing and the other finishing in a different pitch. I just knew as a kid I liked them. Thank you again. I now have a new appreciation. Good luck and God bless you.
🎼🎼LOVE LOVE LOVE Your reactions to BEAUTIFUL MUSIC I grew up with & is timeless & full of NATURAL SOUL💜🙏🏼praying it will be around forever 🥰🥰 they are Angels
I came across you just having a scroll and I love your feature and reaction to Righteous Brothers! They were massive in my day we women everywhere around the world really had a thing for them. They recorded classics!!
I just found you! I love watching your face when a singer hits a certain note. Also love the Andy Griffith whistle. Oh and you are not racist! Take it from this 70 year old white lady, who grew up listening to Motown and the Righteous Brothers. Keep up the good work.
Glad you brought REAL ARTISTS to this video. Listen to them. Look at them. Class, style, pure art and talent. No need for cheap and delerict looks no need for half naked strippers twerking, no need for back alley vulgarity. This is true talent crushing the trash infesting entertainment today, sorry to say so!!!😂😂😂😂
Thanks so much for these Righteous Bros songs. They were my faves when they came out, I'm nearly 73 now and really they are still just as amazing, thanks to you I'm hearing them again like the first times.👍🏼🌛🌞✨🌞🌛👍🏼
Wow ! How much more of this real music can you take? LOL Just think in my day the radio or my stereo were covering so many great songs hour after hour Then we got to go to concerts with real music . I hope some day young people will demand music like this
Enjoying your reactions and comments. I was 15 years old when they came out with I Can’t Stop that Loving feeling. I still have the 45s of their hits. Don’t listen to comments about being a racist. We all thought they were Black until they performed on Sullivan, and I’m white. Check out the story of how before the world realized they were White, they were invited to perform at the famous Apollo Theater. Only famous Black entertainers were ever invited to perform there. Bobby Hatfield the tenor died over 20 years ago. Bill Medley the tall baritone is still performing, but with a new partner. Medley now sings Hatfield’s solos. In harmony, they still sound pretty good. Saw them live 5 years ago. They’re playing concert this September in Folsom, near Sacramento, CA.
This was on the Ed Sullivan Show when we were in the middle of the Viet Nam War. This song meant a lot to people who had family members over there fighting and many singers were performing this during that time. The Righteous Brothers version was a tear jerker but uplifting. Thank you so much for your reactions; you're one of my 3 favorite reactors because you are just as entertaining as the singers.
New to your channel. I'm a 53 year old white boy raised old school. Philosophically you and I are the same. I was raised with a vast variety of music, you are correct in saying music is a universal language. I rather enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work.
I love the Righteous Brothers. I grew up listening to them with my Grandmother, my mom, and my aunt. I think they helped to start my love of vocals, and ballads. Speaking of which, have you ever listened to Josh Groban? Also there are two Korean ballad singers you should check out, either on your channel, or on your own because their vocals are just beautiful. Paul Kim, and Park Hyo Shin. Since you appreciate good vocals I think you would like them. One more suggestion (I have so many I would like to suggest, but I'll hold back.) There is this Mongolian rock band called The Hu, they have very interesting vocal techniques. Also they have done collaborations with American rock artists, such as with their song Wolf Totem, they have the original, and one that is a collaboration with Jacoby Shaddix. If you do those I hope you do the original first, then the collab. The EXO reactions are my favs though.
You are hilarious & reflect my own reactions! That high note was unexpected! 😂😂😂 This was a famous Rogers & Hammerstein song from the musical "Carousel" and Ive only heard the ( beautiful) movie version. Nice to hear the Righteous Brothers version!❤❤❤
You would enjoy Bobby singing My prayer, He, Somewhere, Dream on, Guess who - so many and all better than your average great” vocalist. Well, there’s Linda Ronsteadt. . .
Ahhh love you so much. was waiting to see how you'd react to that note of Bobby Hatfield's, just after Bill Medleys. You didn't disappoint. Bless you...
My stepsister died at 15. In 1968 from leukemia. This was sung at her funeral. Everyone cried.
Oh, that story brought a tear to my eye. God bless you.
To young to go so sad.God Wanted Her Home.
The 60s had some irreplaceable voices. Unique and perfection.
Only Barry left now😢
I am a Boomer, I grew up with this song.
They blew me away.
The greatest voices in a generation of amazing talent, no auto tune no modern equipment and it still is fire🤪.
I was so blessed to grow up with this music and thrilled you are introducing it to more generations.
I love your expression when Bobby Hatfield hit the high note.😆
Your commentary is so good and so funny that I don’t care if you stopped 50 times during one song. You are very entertaining. Don’t change.
They play this before every Liverpool game. The crowd all sings it together. It’s the most amazing thing you’ll ever see
Y.N.W.A
They sound so good because they have something called talent. That was my era. I'm old now, but young heart.
I know. There should be another word.
I get the biggest kick out of you!! 🤣🤣🤣 Keep on keeping on. ❤️ And I agree, the Righteous Brothers voices and performance are EPIC.
The song is from the musical "Carousel" by Rogers and Hammerstein. It has brought tears to many eyes.
We old people had some good pure music
Absolutely love the Righteous Brother's version of this song. Their voices just so complemented each other, as with all their songs. Love listening to them.😍
We called it blue-eyed soul. The Righteous Brothers were thrilling.
The Righteous Brothers were Righteous.
The greatest Duo ever!
They both had phenomenal voices.Bobby had the tenor and Bill Medley was the baritone voice they shouldn't have blended together but they did and it was pure magic. There will never be another male duo that will compare to them.Lidten to solos by them both you'll be surprise att the talent.
Fire and ice
These guys definintely were sent from Heaven to add their beautiful gifts that heal our souls. Thanks dude!!!
Beautifully said. You captured it.
Gifts and blessing.
Bobby and his sweet smile will always be missed
It's a Rodgers and Hammerstein song from the play/film Carousel.
First time I have laughed HYSTERICALLY in a long time! Your reaction when Bobby hit that high note was priceless. Just wish I hadn't had a piece of chocolate candy in my mouth at the time. 💜😊💜
Hahahaha nice 🤣🤣
I laughed too
How far did you spit that piece of chocolate?
Finally someone found this one to react too. Good job! This was soul in the sixties at its finest. Bobby and Bill were dynamite together.
I ❤ your reaction to this song the righteous brothers are pure 🔥🔥 AB
This song was also popularised in the UK by Gerry and The Pacemakers. It is still sung at every Liverpool football match.
I loved Gerry and The Pacemakers from their first record on.❤😊
I am 77 years old and this was the music of my youth. I graduated from high school in 1965.
Did he react to Summertime?
Roger’s and Hammerstein who wrote the music for Cinderella or The Sound of Music. This ding is from the broadway play Carousel. Anytime I can hear Bobby Hatfield’s soaring countertenor it puts a smile on my face. A great duo, but Hatfield takes it to another level.
The Ed Sullivan Show was Sunday night TV entertainment for anyone with a TV!!!! We saw incredible performances with Ed!!!!🎶🎼🎵🤘🎤🎙🎸🥁🎹
The Ed Sullivan show was awesome in its day for sure
Yeeessss couldn't wait to see it

Never watched you before and I was just waiting for 'that' moment and you did not disappoint. Your reaction was insane!! Sorry, but I just cracked out giggling.
Bobby is always on point with everything he does. Thanks for the great reaction.
Older people have enjoyed so much different music. Some of the music from the past two is some of the greatest music ever. Glad to be old and have lived some of the best.
AB, I'm crying when you lost your headphones. This is why i watch you.
They were what talent was back then. I was a young teenager then. I have heard the best of the best!
Love your show! Your music is the best. They were wonderful people too. They allowed my brother who was terminal to join them in their dressing rooms and he had such a wonderful memory. They gave him albums and it was something he remembered till the end.
That's awesome
Thank you for sharing that. They have a reputation for being personable and generous to the audiences at their shows. They and their music can be healing.
🎶💜
At the end of this song
Bill - you'll
Bobby - never walk
Together- alone
This is absolutely beautiful
I went to one of their concerts in the late 1960's. The were absolutely great!!!!
Lol I laughed so hard when you jumped up lol yes Bobby is ridiculously high it's quite amazing
I was laughing, too! And, if you watch Bill when Bobby hits that note, it looks like he flinched! 😄😆🤣
This is sung at two football grounds by 50 000 plus fans, Celtic and Liverpool, incredible atmosphere 👍
I felt the same about Bobby Hatfield. So incredibly gorgeous.
My Mama had a thing for Bobby!! Lol!!
What a beautiful day to decribe them. " A band of angels coming at you at one time "
Love these guys! I was in high school when they came out. I just turned 74 yrs old last month. I will never forget when these came out. I have all their vinyl record albums and CD'S. They were referring to our Father that watches over us. That was not the only time they sang songs about a greater power than themselves.
No one today can come close to this performance.....

I just found you! I love watching your face when a singer hits a certain note. Also love the Andy Griffith whistle. Oh and you are not racist! Take it from this 70 year old white lady, who grew up listening to Motown and the Righteous Brothers. Keep up the good work.
