That is so cool hearing Eric speak so highly of Chris Brewster and Charlie Cox. Love DD, and so stoked to see more of these two bring Daredevil to visceral life again now that they’ve been brought back into the MCU
It's also incredibly impressive how both Charlie and both of his stunt doubles (if remember correctly Charlie mentioned another guy in a interview at one point), no matter if he is wearing a mask, or when you really can see it in the season 3 prison fight scene. Even though when he is wearing the maks and doesn't have to pretend that he can't see in his own way, the head movement of him listening to where something is coming from rather than looking straight at it is still there. It's one thing that Cox really makes you believe he can't actually see in dialog scenes, but you would think when it came to fighting they would just let that detail go. But the season 3 fight scene was the one that really made me go back and look at it with a fresh perspective and see those small details, because in the prison fight he doesn't have to pretend like he normally does, but he still can't see like a normal person so it's this added layer of difficulty of now not being able to cheat at all by looking at the incoming hits and kicks. I'm really excited that he's back, but I really hope they give him and the stunt people better time to rehears fight scenes compared to what Disney plus shows have currently been giving us. They have been fine, but nothing on the level of daredevil. It's also why they should have given Danny Rand the mask from the get go, since unlike Charlie he didn't get enough time to prep and even in season 2 it's just clear which is the better fighter. Which hurts the story because Danny is supposed to be in the top 3 fighters in the world even without the use of his fist.

Love to see y’all react to a montage of women characters fighting while wearing heels, both stiletto and wedge. And discussion about why filmmakers keep putting women in heels, and how fight choreographers/stunt coordinators/stunt doubles deal with them.
I was watching Into the Badlands recently, there's a character called the Widow who wears stilettos and does stunts, and I was thinking this, and basically, at least in that show, they kept cutting between her in heels and her with flat shoes for the stunt shots.
@@NinjaDimes That's both incredible and kind of depressing. When is any filmmaker going to shoot a high-production-value movie where the male characters are wearing heels while fighting and running, that's what I want to know. And I don't mean Tom Cruise-style platforms to increase their heights, I mean actual drag queen stilettos designed to maximize the male characters' sex appeal. Because as we all know, sex appeal is the most important thing - indeed often the only thing - to consider when choreographing action scenes. Obviously.
@@didderjade I get you're being facetious but, the reason would be heels don't add sex appeal to a man. the analogue would be something like fighting in a suit/tux ala James Bond.
Martin Sevcech I actually find a man in heels super sexy, and so do a lot of other women (and men). Because heels have the same effect on men that they have on women: they push out the ass and arch the back and show off your calves. In fact, high heels meant for fashion were first invented for and worn by men. Just ask Louis the Tenth. Anyway, even setting that aside, I still have a point. Because fighting in a suit or tuxedo does not have nearly the same level of bodily constraint, discomfort, or debilitating effect. Suits do not twist the wearer’s spine out of alignment, shift their center of gravity or screw with their balance. So there really isn’t a true analogue for male action heroes. It all boils down to, James Bond fighting in a tux is a power fantasy for men. Catwoman fighting in stiletto heels is a sex fantasy for men*. It’d be nice to get a change in that dynamic, is all I’m saying. *including the character’s claim that heels give her any kind of advantage. She’s not a real person who can make real choices; she was designed by and largely written by men, they put the words in her mouth.
Martin Sevcech ur not a woman and or gay. Men in heels is sexy. Bond fighting in a tux is not sexy bc that is just the norm. Lots of dudes fight in suits. John wick fights in a suit.

They used a gigantic air ram in "The Dark Knight" when they flipped the semi and trailer on its top. Also, a really good fight scene with good pacing between the fighters (albeit a little old school) is the opening duel from "The Duelists". Could be worth a look.
„Lost World Clint“: Clint finds a door in Nick‘s attic. After crawling through he enters the lost world. Being chased by a T-Rex, he sprints Tom-Cruise-style downhill while being chased by the dinosaur. In a last attempt to escape from the mighty beast he gets air ram‘d off a cliff into the jaws of a giant Megalodon. Pure Corridor gold.

Niko: Did you know 60% of our viewers aren’t subscribed?
Clayseph16 it’s cause people re-watch the video and some people are not signed into UA-cam. That’s what they don’t understand, I hate when youtubers day that
And thats a fact
@@ThatGuyCanmanNC You're wrong. UA-cam analytics are very accurate. Just as an example - I do have a UA-cam account and I'm not subscribed. I just don't want all the Corridor Digital content. I just like the reaction videos showing up in my recommendations.
Clayseph16 Them saying that is why people don’t sub. They’re basiclly begging
@@ThatGuyCanmanNC what lol? So there's millions of people signing out of their accounts and rewatching a video they've seen? Nice theory kiddo.
im always happier to see this stunt guy so commited to his job that he all the time wears sport clothes, like he is always ready for some quick flash stunt. it just lights up my mood.
Clint : wanna see something cool?
Everyone else : do yeeeeet
I really like these episodes, thank you for the entertainment.
"I'm the guy"
I thought it was funny because that was the exact thing I said before he did
Definitely Mad Max: Fury Road. Probably an entire episode dedicated to it (if you feel it's the case)
Daredevil season 3 oner. The length was epic
"The prison fight" I hope they do it :)

One thing I love about the Daredevil fight scene is how every gets tired.
I love how "The Naked Gun" made it into this video...

I remember when they first started doing stuntmen react. My school wanted me to do a presentation so I did it on mission impossible fallout and band of brothers stunts. Thanks for the inspiring videos. You have made a huge impact on my interests and hobby’s. Thanks, and God bless.

I would love to see stuntmen react to animated fight scenes. I would like to see what they think about the physics and motions, and if they were even realistic.

Thank you so much for this series! I already respected and was impressed by stunt work, and what feats a person will go through create impressive movies, but this has brought it to a whole new level!
They used a gigantic air ram in "The Dark Knight" when they flipped the semi and trailer on its top. Also, a really good fight scene with good pacing between the fighters (albeit a little old school) is the opening duel from "The Duelists". Could be worth a look.
Ah yes, the duelist sword fighting is intense
The Raid movies are like a Master class of Action film making and Stunt choreography.

Nice vibe you guys have on set; you can tell there's genuine rapport
"Once upon a time in high school" - korean movie. final fight scene on the roof. Was the first time I saw a fight scene where the protagonist is clearly exhausted and winning but also getting his ass kicked. Obscure to a western audience but def worth your time. Cheers

Don't be smarmy dude.
“Cirque du soleil: world’s away”, both for stunts and cg. The end of the first scene has the actors fall down a sandpit, curious to see your take on it.
Good choice. I forgot about that movie. They do some crazy stuff in it
Scott Fillinger well, most of it is filmed at the resident shows of CDS in Vegas. I wonder what a professional stuntman’s opinion is about this movie and the circus industry in general.
There's an amazing "oner" in The Protector with Tony Jaa. Yall should cover that one too. Love this channel guys!
YES!!! I’ve been dying for you guys to do the Daredevil one shots! Could you guys do the one in season 3 in more detail because I’m really curious about it because there was a lot of anger that it couldn’t even be submitted to get a nomination for an Emmy. A professionals opinion on it would be interested and I’m curious if it is a genuine one shot or a trick one like season 2
Erik oleson, the showrunner of s3, said that it was a true oner! Although they had places where they could cut if they needed to, they ended up using the same take for everything.

It probably is the best of well known films. Though you reminded me of this video by Skallagrim: ua-cam.com/video/FR976PhMbDM/v-deo.html
The film he's reviewing is a Polish one from 1974 called The Deluge (polish title: Potop). There are clips of the duel on UA-cam. He actually compares it to The Princess Bride, saying the later is "pulling their punches" and making it a bit flashier for the movie.

Eric testing Charlie's skill on the rooftop sounds quite funny & surreal if you compare the "phenomenal fighter," which was Eric's opinion of Charlie, with the Charlie that has the personality of an Irish Setter in real life.
Why don’t they ever really show “bad stuntwork” like in the title
