Stupid idea for a fun video: "what's even happening?" The idea is its an action type video, but EVERYTHING is just all out of whack, some examples: - someone gets kicked in the gut but act like they got hit in the face, - using a gun to stab someone like its a knife, - backhand slapping someone and their head violently explodes, - landing a hit and the reaction are obviously out of timing, - a guy gets hit in the nads and upon impact the camera cuts and the *actor* is swapped with an *actress* - one scene theres so many jump cuts that the fighters stop as if they're aware its happening, and wait for a steady camera to continue the fight etc etc :p
The forearm part, where he is talking about martial artists not being hurt by it; it is called mirco-fracturing. That's how you can do the knuckle punches and shit. Even being out of it for years, it is still noticeable. I could kick tree stumps and be fine, where my cousin broke a toe hitting the wall. Taekwondo is mostly focused around legs, this man Scott prob had to do outside conditioning.
Weird you say that, cause from my experience fighting guys who did taekwondo basically every block is a fore-arm block, like the an makgi or arae makgi. Also, when blocking with forearms so much the muscles absorb a lot of the hit, you can see in the scene at 10:52 when he says he is anticipating the kick, he uses the flexor muscles to absorb it. A friend of mine who did Taekwondo had the strongest forearm of everyone I knew
I've always thought he looked like a more hard core version of Ryan Reynolds for sure. And yeah, him as the Deadpool stunt double in Origins was pretty fitting.
Niko "It's just a lot of, like, doing it in your imagination over & over. It's watching John Wick, and then like, playing with the Nerf gun _pretending_ you're John Wick" Ahh, the Lee Strasburg method. As David Harbour said about it on Hot Ones "...it's not about actually like, *being* the character, because you can't. It's about your metaphoric relationship. Acting _as if_ you're the character"
In “Never Back Down”, there’s a fight with a capoeira fighter who gets knocked to the floor half way through a front flip. If you search UA-cam, you can find a behind the scenes footage of this fight showing that it was done in a single take. My question is, how did that guy drop to the floor so fast? Was it a wire pull? If so, how is the wire attached allowing him to do all the flips and shit before the hit? If it wasn’t a wire pull, how did he kill the momentum of his front flip so fast? Did he just take that hit for real?
Hey, I’m assuming you mean the fight where the capoeira fighter gets knocked in one punch by the main antagonist? Essentially, the actor attempts a cartwheel into the antagonist in attempts to make a move. If you watch the clip, you’ll notice that the capoeira guy makes a complete rotation onto his feet before getting “hit”. It’s actually not too difficult to reverse the momentum from forward to backwards as long as you have your feet planted and are anticipating a strike. As soon as the capoeira guy gets hit, he shoots his legs out from underneath him, and arches his upper body towards the floor. This gives the effect that the punch was effective enough to knock him out in one punch through sheer force and accuracy!
@@KidRyu_ Yeah Capoeria guy obviously knows hes supposed to get punched because of choreography. So as soon as his feet hit the ground he throws himself back hard, at the moment the punch is to land

The idea is its an action type video, but EVERYTHING is just all out of whack, some examples:
- someone gets kicked in the gut but act like they got hit in the face,
- using a gun to stab someone like its a knife,
- backhand slapping someone and their head violently explodes,
- landing a hit and the reaction are obviously out of timing,
- a guy gets hit in the nads and upon impact the camera cuts and the *actor* is swapped with an *actress*
- one scene theres so many jump cuts that the fighters stop as if they're aware its happening, and wait for a steady camera to continue the fight etc etc :p
Not only is this a brilliant idea but the react potential is up there as well
This is great
Sounds awesome!
A friend of mine who did Taekwondo had the strongest forearm of everyone I knew
muay thai guys are the prime example of this
I absolutely love that Scott enjoyed your clips, I could see you guys working together in the future
Love Scott , a truly skilled professional without being a complete bighead .
Respect to the guy who respects others .
Y’all are the only youtube series I watch every week! Definitely for movie lovers! I’ll have to check out the app ❤️
how can anyone nottt crush on this man, it's sickening how quickly I fall for his charm, too dang likable
I have literally been binging you all day
I wish I haven't seen them all 😭
@@Vibe4ant Watch them again
Scott is so likable and humble. Love his accent. Very funny too have him on again.
We had THE FLASH, SUPERMAN, SUPERGIRL in the small screen, now its time to have a proper BATMAN tv series with Scott in the main role
It might sound like a stretch, but hear me out: Scott looks like a badasser version of a fusion between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman
Kind of funny considering Scott played the version of Deadpool with the sewn up mouth in Xmen Origins.
I've always thought he looked like a more hard core version of Ryan Reynolds for sure. And yeah, him as the Deadpool stunt double in Origins was pretty fitting.
Nope it's Ben Affleck and high Jackman
I can never unsee that image now haha brilliant
This dude needs his own john wink series. He has so much Charisma and his accent is so buttery smooth.
What's this John Wink's deal? Does he just going around winking at people?
@@khaansulu5695 One assumes he does everything John Wick does, but adds his own little flourish by winking after each fight :)
“Your fans don’t wanna see you loose on screen”
Shout out to l Lateef Crowder fans finally validated by The Mandalorian
Niko "It's just a lot of, like, doing it in your imagination over & over. It's watching John Wick, and then like, playing with the Nerf gun _pretending_ you're John Wick"
Ahh, the Lee Strasburg method. As David Harbour said about it on Hot Ones
"...it's not about actually like, *being* the character, because you can't.
So glad you guys got Scott! One of the most underrated dudes working in Hollywood ✊🏾
Scott’s performance in undisputed is amazing didn’t realize it was him until he mentioned it
I haven't seen undisputed 2, but undisputed 3 is a favorite of mine. And my favorite Adkins movie by far.
Hear me out, I have an idea for your next video. What if you remade the face melt scene from Indiana Jones, the scene can have so much more with modern VFX! It was a work of it’s time, and you can do so much with the scene!
Scott is epic! A possible scene to run through (that I’m sure has been mentioned a load) is the pub fight from Gangs of London by Gareth Evans, it’s brutal
Oh no, another Stuntmen react!? Well, I guess the whole "going to work" thing must wait for another twenty minutes.
We need to start a movement for casting Scott as Johnny cage in MK2. He can really fight, he’s actually funny, and like someone else mentioned his charisma is definitely there. He’s Johnny.
That was brilliant!!!
I’m a big martial arts fan and I found this not only entertaining, but informative and interesting.
I love Scott Adkins, I find him very underrated to be honest…
He seems like such a nice guy too!
The final fight between Iko Iwais and Joe Taslim in "The Night Comes for Us"
I'd love to see Scott react to that!
Yes please!!! This ☝🏼
holly hell best movie out there
YES! Corridor Crew listens to their subscribers cause they brought back that amazing dude!! I could watch endless videos with Scott in them cause dude is hilarious and awesome.
8:44 I can't compliment you enough for that mordhau. These kinds of actual historical techniques aren't shown enough in movies/tv. Very cool and I appreciated seeing it.
We need at least one of the fights from any of the undisputed movies Scott was in. I love Boyeka man!
All of the regulars are always laughing out of control with Scott on the show. Such a charismatic dude.
Scott Atkins is a great guy and very modest, humble man. I think this is the reason he is such a good martial expert and cool actor.
10:49 I honestly don't think it looks like he did it too soon, to me, it looks like the character saw an incoming hit and put their arms up to protect their torso/head by pure reaction. Don't know the movie or the character is about, it looks like how a normal person might protect themselves from being hit after being hit already
Too soon probably means something like 200ms too soon.
he proberaly meant he had lifted his guard before the kick started so to him it was too soon if only by a fraction of a second
I thought it looked great, like he was weakened through the attack.
Amazing seeing Scott back on board. Would love to see what you guys think of Ozymandias vs The Comedian
Just watched Nobody. Great action film. Loved the long takes and how the fighting looked more real with Hutch taking lots of hits. Love you guys to look at it.
as someone who sits at a workbench all day, honestly I feel like his lower back would hate it if he were an accountant too
Ahyep. An accountant friend working long hours from home during the pandemic actually got a herniated disc. From all the sitting.
Thought the same thing. A job where you're sitting all day my be just as bad or worse for your body in the long run
Scott is such a humble guy even when he is already a very well known artist in the industry.
I was literally just smiling through out... The best so far
If Warner Brothers had anyone with a brain, they’d cast Scott as Batman. He looks like a young Ben Affleck.
who is gonna pay to see an unknown play batman over ben affleck? might make sense but thats not how money is made
You realise he's only four years younger than Affleck
Scott adkins is way more popular than Ben Affleck.
@@Gameboy-2000 you stupid? Ben is a better actor
@@MrALenCar321 You Fool! Read my comment properly. I didn't say Scott is better Actor then Ben. I replied to him that Scott adkins is way more Popular then Ben because Scott is a Martial artist. His Action sequences are mindblowing. Watch Undisputed franchise. We want Batman like that.
