Atsumu and Osamu didn't "have" a quick btw, they saw Kageyama and Hinata do it, and copied it on the get-go. That's why it's a bit insane, remember as characters within the show have said multiple times before, the only people who could pull that quick off were Hinata and Kageyama, bc its supposed to be almost impossible to do, so noone believed there would be other people who could not only mimic it, but do it for the first time on the court. Inarizaki is very much like Karasuno the way seijoh is like Shiratorizawa. The former will abandon their honed styles to adapt and adopt something new, while the latter stick to their simple strengths be it coordinated teamwork like seijoh or pure power like shiratorizawa.
Atsumu is actually not like Oikawa at all, a huge part of oikawas storyline was about how he believed talent would always surpass hard work. Oikawa is what they call a "self made" man. Atsumu is also a hard worker, but he recreated the freak quick he saw his opponent do once, immediately with no beforehand practice just bc he thought it was "cool". In essence, he is the epitome of "talent". If anything he is more like kageyama, a gifted individual who works extremely hard. Atsumu is also not "insecure", he's extremely secure in his talent even tho he goofs off and embarrasses himself a bit, he is the embodiment of the inarizaki banner "we don't need the memories". He'll shake off any failures and just keep upping himself, that's why they call him "the ultimate challenger". The only thing similar to oikawa is his snarky "two faced" personality but even that falls off in the middle of a match.
I agree and disagree at the same time, since I do think they aren't alike but I don't feel he is about talent, sure he was born a bit better than others, but so was Oikawa, like Iwa said. (Atsumu was even infirior to Osamu) What I believe is different is that while Oikawa feels (in season 1) like he will be defeated by talent no matter what, Atsumu doesn't care and pushed himself and others to change that and surpass others. I feel the difference is shown in Kita's view on geniuses. But that's how I interpret it, I don't fully disagree with your take, just see it a bit differently, I mean, it's kind of what you said, but I don't know if I explained my pov correctly
he said later that he meant the personality wise, not their talents, etc. and it's understandable to think like that in some way, especially for first impressions.
@@lvna3895 Sorry, I know it's not directed at me, but I still agree with OP. Personality wise they are still different, maybe, like you said, on first impression and on a surface level they are similar. But while Oikawa embraces his fans and pays attention to them, Atsumu just cares about playing (this is a very small example) Then while Oikawa is extremly insecure and has an infiriority complex, Atsumu is super secure of his abilities. And, more importantly, while Oikawa likes to perfect things and plan them out Atsumu is muuuch much more reckless
@@Tshh11 that's true. but it makes sense for anyone to think oikawa - atsumu is similar, a "popular, playful, yet rude" kind of guy. it's normal to do a comparison of who you see with who you saw before. also, this is just the start of a character's story, which is atsumu, so you can't expect anyone to see the character more deeply. if until the end they still think the same then that's different.
@@lvna3895 Oh, I agree that on surface level it may seem like that, and is noormal to compare. But all the examples I made can be analysed from what we know up to this episode. But I do understand that they are watching for the first time, and not really watching it that deeply, so the nuanced is hard to grasp
I think what's crazy about the twins is that it's not that they "had" a quick like Kageyama and Hinata, but that they saw their quick and immediately came up with how to do it on their own. That's why Samu reacted as he did when they were talking about not missing a chance to catch up - because he's realised what his brother is wanting to do (copy the quick). That's how much of a different level they're on - that they're able to copy Karasuno's big quick attack that quickly and easily.
Idk if you've been told this already but when Atsumu and Osamu did their quick, the lines "This position, This timing... This angle... It's perfection!" were the exact same lines Kageyama said when he and Hiinata did their first ever quick, one of my favourite callbacks in the whole show.
10:28 The words 'We Don’t Need the Memories' on Inarizaki High's flag mean that it’s amazing just to be able to participate in this tournament, and some people might say, "At least it was a good memory" even if they lose. But we don’t need that kind of memory. We didn’t come here to make memories. we came here to win.

9:24 Bluebird from Naruto is often played as sports cheer songs in Japan(especially student sports) But this is another song similar to Bluebird. Because there’s copyright!
0:55 On the contrary, there is like 4 arcs left, 5 depending how you count them, and they already cut a looot on the movie we got, so we really don't know how they'll manage, because there is a looot left, fan favourite arcs at that 1:55 This is big: *he* is the one that introduced her to volleyball, and now she is in the best team, they are the girl equivalent of Shiratorizawa, both in Miyagi (always winning in the prefecture), only, I believe, they are even stronger, because they are even favourites at nationals (not that Shiratorizawa isn't well known at nationals, but still), the team is nicknamed "The Queens", and she is their ace. In the manga we get a foreshadowing of their relationship because we see their team waaay back at the start of the preliminaries of season 2, we see the team and Tanaka says it wouldn't be an understatement to say he helped form their ace (it's played as a joke at the time but now we find out it's sort of true) but we only see Kanoka's back of her head 5:13 Absolutly everyone reacts like that, but me personally I feel it's very commendable of him to reject someone he doesn't have those sorts of feelings for despite really wanting a girlfriend. Can't remember how I felt when I first watched it, so can't blame you 6:29 Not that I like these midcards more than the previous ones but if I'm not mistaken they are a nod to some of the author's doodles that he did while drawing the manga, and showed to the readers throughout the series 10:58 He plays because he loves the game, not for attention, these girls while well intentioned, clearly only went for the "pretty boys", since everyone who is actual fan of the sport, and especially this specific team, knows that interrupting his serve rutine is harmful for the team they are supposedly rooting for, and he doesn't like people who don't take it siriously I would suggest watching other reactors, like "Lachy White" (who is a volleyball player so he understands more) to understand Inarizaki a bit more because they are actually a great team, and they are more thought provoking 15:39 The funny thing is, he wasn't smirking because he was confident in his serve, but because he knows he makes it in at best, don't ask him to aim, so seeing them waste their energy in his serve which isn't a threat at all, is funny to him. (we get to see his complete thoughts in the manga, that's how I know) I feel that's even funnier of him to smirk at his lack of skill than because he is confident 18:25 not a cheater, although some may debate it. The adaaptation did do him and his team a real diservice, Kuroo even respects him 18:38 This is japanese music, not typically used for cheering, but Furudate had always wanted to include it in the story. They even went to a club's practice to take notes 18:51 Yes, that's why the ep is titled rythm, although it's not just from the crowds 19:10 Because they have to wait for the wistle 20:16 He is adjusting from a ball boy to a receiver, since it's different, he is, however, positioning correctly, like Noya says 20:51 I always love how we get players from the same position, or opposite (like MB talking about spikers) explaining what happend or their feelings because they can relate. We get it more in the manga though 21:34 there are no students in Karasuno's section, it's a five or six hour drive and the tournament is for several days, there's no way they can stay and skip school, especially for a team with little chance 22:06 It's very difficult to switch a serve just like that, especially at their age. If you have a serve rutine down normally you'll always do it, that's why the girls interrupting earlier is actually bad. That was a jump floater both times, but they are faster and harder to get than others do it 22:53 Fun fact, many olimpian volleyball players are often asked about their favourite character, especially Japan's team, and while there is a huuuge variety, many say Atsumu, especially spikers, because they say that a setter that's willing to take risks like that and even has the ability and hard work to back that recklessness up is very valuable and they would love to have him as their setter 23:33 Because if you pay attention to the story you end up caring for other teams as much, if not more than Karasuno, since each character represents a different person (even pros, there is one that relates to Lev the most), and each team have their own mentality that someone can feel connected to, it's not about them being "hot" (although I can't deny there are some fans are like that). It's to the point we don't really care about the results as much, of course we want them to win, but we wouldn't get mad if they don't. For example, in my case, there were plenty of times I was actually sad that they did win (like with Seijoh and no, not just for Oikawa)
Fun Fact: It was already mentioned that Saeko nee-san played the Taiko drums when she was first introduced on the season. It's a little detail that I missed 'til I rewatched the season years ago. lol
so inter high is like another spring tournament which happens in summer/ inarizaki and itachiyama both reached the finals and itachiyama won. that's why they are considered the top seeds

I dont know if it's because Brigs is an active athlete but I am amazed how fast he could predict things... this time about the twins being able to do quick
Brig always pays attention to little details, even the dialog, not only the technical play.. I think he remembers that "this timing.. this angle" jargon from Kageyama so he can guess that they'll pull *somekinda a freak quick of their own
I couldn't wait for y'all to get to this match 🔥🔥🔥 "The UA-cam comments are probably confused why we're calling him husband" No, we're not. We get it 💀 Tsumu is HIM
The best match with a rich writing, emotions, breath taking moments, stellar animation, going deep into characters and what not has finally arrived. 🙇🔥
it is unfortunate that in the Ova the snakes arc gets scuffed... although we can all agree cheating was shitty. In the manga their mentality is expanded better during and after the game, which makes the entire team more agreable/likeable and the reason why Kuroo is friendly towards him as well. Even a cheating team in Haikyuu was fleshed out properly as there are no real "bad guys". And the anime failed to deliver the author's message with that team
thanks for sharing this! not everyone, including me, knows this. it sucks when important details in the manga are missed/not executed well in the anime. i should read the manga soon too T_T
Something interesting when it comes to the spectators is that the spikers in the audience know intuitively how Tanaka, Asahi, Hinata etc all feel, while the setters are able to do the same with Osamu and Kageyama.
If you want more Haikyuu PLEASE read the manga there’s plenty of content that won’t be covered in the movies. And in my opinion, that content made the Haikyuu move from “great” to “greatest of all time” status🙌🏾
From here on out is when the manga is so much better than the anime. The anime cuts out so many good moments, and the pacing is just off. The moment the twins did the quick should have been way bigger. Since through the entire series, other seters and people said nobody could do the Kageyama and Hinata quick, yet here are these twins who did it after seeing it just once. That's fucking scary.
Never comment but because I havent seen anyone else mention it I will see if I can reach you: TURN OFF AUTO FOCUS ON CAMERA!!! Set the focus up before recording and lock it in. Thaat is all keep it up the good work gents.
2:14 🤦🏽♀️ Yes, you are missing something, the after credits scene from the previous episode! 4:35 Nah, pretty sure we get it. 5:13 😂 Yeah, I wanna watch y'all react to a romance anime so bad! 6:25 Jack & Brig: "Double Husband!" 🤣 8:47 "It's all the girls on our Patreon." 🤣 12:17 Brig has come such a long way from the start of this show. 23:26 They are frustrating, and I admit, they really annoyed me at first because of that, but with Haikyu, it's almost impossible to dislike any of the teams or characters for long. That's how it was for me anyway, any player or team I started off disliking, I eventually came to at least like them.
I would love to always comment in each videos, but i just enjoyed you guys enjoying the show and forgot what to comment. Every time y'all posts, it always made my day. Love that some of you catches that Atsumu's pre-serve routine is cringe lol, cause it is but it is cool first time seeing it. And the theme songs for this season are just chef's kiss, that last theme song in episode 14, I call it the "Miya Twins" is one of all time favorite. Again, love how positive and open minded are you guys to the "slow" episodes and side stories, thank you so much! I'm gonna share some non-spoiler info, but you can not read it. I read this game in the manga first before it got animated, it was a ton of chapters for one game and probably because it wants to portray that Inarizaki is the same level of importance as the other rivals like Seijoh and Dateko. This game is also a huge stepping stone for Karasuno. Atsumu cannot changes his serve mid air at this stage, Ukai catching his routine is huge. Ojiro Aran, Inarizaki's aces is probably 5th or 4th best spiker with Bokuto in the nations, and then there are Ushijima, Kiryu (he's shown like once in this episode), and Sakusa. Tanaka didn't say "sorry what i said yesterday was a mistake" but "sorry i said something weird yesterday" to Kanoko, soo.. you can guess what actually goes on there.
Just a note that just because a player may have sat out on a game doesn't mean an injury. They could have also felt sick, and rather than push themselves they're told to sit out.
It's not that they have refined the quick, it just that they wanted to try it and almost masterd it on one try which makes them so scary. The inarizaki team has a lot of unrefined parts, but their potential is above all other teams without a doubt
Not sure if you may find it interesting. tsurune is an anime about Japanese competetive archery . It has a good slice of life elements currently 2 aeasons
Since you guys were talking at the beginning about the Haikyuu anime coming to an end, I would strongly recommend to watch Kuroko no Basket next to fill the void left by Haikyuu. It's also another hype sports anime like Haikyuu. And apparently you guys already like basketball, so it will be even more enjoyable!
It's like a basketball version of Bluelock, the characters have supernatural powers which are not relatable to real life, it's nothing compared to Haikyuu. They'll probably die from cringe after seeing the green haired guy shooting the ball FULLCOURT with almost 100% accuracy.
@@draspenthat was the reason I could not watch both series, I was a fan of SlamDunk, and going from that to KnB was really jarring so I dropped it. The premise of BlueLock always sounded a little too unbelievable, but I was reading the manga for the art, just like Kakegurugi, there are some mangas that have beautiful art but the story doesn’t engage me. Now I’m imagining what the guys would think of series like “March Comes in Like a Lion” or “Hikaru no Go”. Other sports series or more obscure sports anime’s like Tsurune or OneOuts. Or maybe something like Hibike Euphonium, or Violet Evergarden or Frieren. There are so many genres and they have I believe only watched shonen series, not including the movies. Would they be interested in more quirky series like Ergo Proxy, Lain or Paranoia Agent? After all they must cater to an audience, and some titles could not be very attractive to a mass audience.
@@draspen As if there is nothing supernatural happening in Haikyuu lol. Kageyama's set that stops in the air is physically impossible. Hinata spiking with his eyes closed. In fact, the whole premise of their signature quick is supernatural, which somehow gets "perfectly copied" by the Miya twins after seeing it once. Not to mention Aone being able to react to basically any spike and Tendou being able to "guess/predict with extreme accuracy". See where I'm going? Having supernatural elements does not make a sports anime bad. Btw I like Haikyuu more than KnB and I also think Haikyuu is the best sports anime ever made. If a truly realistic sports anime was wanted, I would recommend Giant Killing.
The twins just copied the weirdo quick on the fly because Atsumu thought it was cool and wanted to try it too and they nailed it, which is insane☠ Watching Atsumu do his thing is always a pleasure
You should really really try Summer Wars, a 2009 movie from Madhouse studio (director: Mamoru Hosoda) It's not ghibli but its really good. Subbed is always better! 😉

I like characters like him, they're fun. If he was all talk but no bite it would be different but he ain't nothing like that.
@Chiyash yeah and that's something i can never understand, why hate a character just because they're in a rival team, when they're genuinely a good character? You can still support one team without bashing the other one.
@@daisuki718 also saying that girls like abusers like him, the hell bro i know they're "kinda" joking but their atsumu hate is really nonsensical at this point. They're doing too much

Brig always pays attention to little details, even the dialog, not only the technical play.. I think he remembers that "this timing.. this angle" jargon from Kageyama so he can guess that they'll pull *somekinda a freak quick of their own
Saeko nee-san is so cool! Now i know why the Miya twins (husband & osamu) is simping for her😭🤘🏻
omg i forgot about this!!!! 😂 the miya twins simping for saeko-neesan 😂
they did? how? when? I didn't notice if it was mentioned in the manga
huh?
Would be hilarious to see the boys react to a romance anime 😂
I couldn't wait for y'all to get to this match 🔥🔥🔥
"The UA-cam comments are probably confused why we're calling him husband"
No, we're not. We get it 💀
Tsumu is HIM
Truly man, we stan Atsumu to death
The best match with a rich writing, emotions, breath taking moments, stellar animation, going deep into characters and what not has finally arrived. 🙇🔥
I remember Lupa and Roshi from different channel started to root against Karasuno because of Aran (black representative) 😅
My favourite match of the show can’t believe you guys are finally here
watch run with the wind (not for youtube~ just watch it~ underrated af,
this message is for anyone who reads it, its a really good watch do check
Love run with the wind! It's a bit less action, but has some amazing character arcs
Loved it as much as haikyuu. It hits different and a bit deeper imo.
@@LighTeNinG829 Watched it in June and have already rewatched it thrice. So effing good. Makes me cry everytime.
really glad u guys are so into this show!!
My favourite match in the anime and 2nd favourite in the series is finally here
Spoiling us with back to back Haikyuu! It's not Christmas yet is it?
it is unfortunate that in the Ova the snakes arc gets scuffed... although we can all agree cheating was shitty. In the manga their mentality is expanded better during and after the game, which makes the entire team more agreable/likeable and the reason why Kuroo is friendly towards him as well.
Even a cheating team in Haikyuu was fleshed out properly as there are no real "bad guys". And the anime failed to deliver the author's message with that team
thanks for sharing this! not everyone, including me, knows this. it sucks when important details in the manga are missed/not executed well in the anime. i should read the manga soon too T_T
the fact that atsumu copied the quick in that instant shows just how good he is
OH YEAH LETS GO BABY ITS BOUT TO GET HYPE
Something interesting when it comes to the spectators is that the spikers in the audience know intuitively how Tanaka, Asahi, Hinata etc all feel, while the setters are able to do the same with Osamu and Kageyama.
Finally! My personal favorite match! This match is gonna cook so hard, hope you guys enjoy it!
If you want more Haikyuu PLEASE read the manga there’s plenty of content that won’t be covered in the movies. And in my opinion, that content made the Haikyuu move from “great” to “greatest of all time” status🙌🏾
exactly!!
Speaking of depression after a good show ends... You've got one piece after this and haven't even reached the peak of that one yet 😊
YAAAYYY INARIZAKI MATCH!!!🎉❤
finally we arrive at this arc, these twins are really crazy narcissistic 😂
“Kobe & Shaq have met Shaq & Kobe” 😂 love the reaction guys! Keep it up!
Never comment but because I havent seen anyone else mention it I will see if I can reach you:
TURN OFF AUTO FOCUS ON CAMERA!!!
Set the focus up before recording and lock it in.
Thaat is all keep it up the good work gents.
Finally! My personal favorite team, Inarizaki Koko.
My 7/11 twins and granpa Kita 🤩
You guys have come so far from thinking how a Volleyball anime would be fun to thinking how depressing or sad it is to finish the show.
Bokuto-san soooo cute I love him 💗💗💗
"I don't slouch anymore because of you" 🥺
Also, Inarizaki's band!! This is the call to rank all the school cheers 🙏
Finally the twins Miya is here...!!!
3:16 "...is the one who can precisely all of the Spikers..." What is that translation????
I cant wait for you guys to see kita!!
The crazy part is that the twins saw the quick ONCE and were able to copy it immediately
2:14 🤦🏽♀️ Yes, you are missing something, the after credits scene from the previous episode!
4:35 Nah, pretty sure we get it.
5:13 😂 Yeah, I wanna watch y'all react to a romance anime so bad!
6:25 Jack & Brig: "Double Husband!" 🤣
8:47 "It's all the girls on our Patreon." 🤣
12:17 Brig has come such a long way from the start of this show.
23:26 They are frustrating, and I admit, they really annoyed me at first because of that, but with Haikyu, it's almost impossible to dislike any of the teams or characters for long. That's how it was for me anyway, any player or team I started off disliking, I eventually came to at least like them.
'the brother the brother'. mckay that timing lmao
YESSSSSS!!! IT'S HERE
lmfaoo second episode and theyre already frustrated with inarizaki imagine by episode 24
Next two episodes are gonna be lit 🔥🔥
they gonna adpat more?... no one in patron had told them what's next after that last movie?.... oh boy
Just a note that just because a player may have sat out on a game doesn't mean an injury. They could have also felt sick, and rather than push themselves they're told to sit out.
Yeay, haikyuu again..
finally! you're at my fave match up 😂 i LOVE inarizaki lols
Lmao brig has been hilarious these last few episodes..
"Kobe and Shaq have met Shaq and Kobe" 🤣
It's not that they have refined the quick, it just that they wanted to try it and almost masterd it on one try which makes them so scary. The inarizaki team has a lot of unrefined parts, but their potential is above all other teams without a doubt
We're inching closer and closer to the new movie, im so excited to see your reaction
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS AAAAHH THANKUUU
Not sure if you may find it interesting. tsurune is an anime about Japanese competetive archery . It has a good slice of life elements currently 2 aeasons
ついに稲荷崎だー!!!!🥹
1番好きだからうれしい!!!!
My fav match. I'm excited for this.
@@draspen I would like it if they did react to KnB just to see how they'll react to all the "weird" moves
FINALLY THE MIYA TWINS !!!
the goat is here
HUSBAND IS FINALLY HERE LETS GOOOO
bro's missing blue lock
The twins just copied the weirdo quick on the fly because Atsumu thought it was cool and wanted to try it too and they nailed it, which is insane☠
Watching Atsumu do his thing is always a pleasure
son favoritos para este partido, no para todo el torneo
OH MY LET'S GOOOOOOOO
12:31 HAHHAHAHA
After this season I recommend the Manga, not the movie.
Next episode, tomorrow please 🔥
12 days since the last one piece patreon upload lmao.
? no
My husband is heree 😭👀
I’m still here😳. React to windbreaker pleaseeeeee
No because you are so real for calling Atsumu husband. He IS husband and I relate to it on a deep, personal level it's embarrassing.
You should really really try Summer Wars, a 2009 movie from Madhouse studio (director: Mamoru Hosoda) It's not ghibli but its really good. Subbed is always better! 😉
LETS GOOO
the “classic girls.. like the abusers” joke left a bad taste in my mouth 🤢
The manga is done and all of it has been converted to anime. It's done after the movies unfortunately
Where is naruttttooooooooooooooooooooo
Where is One Piece?
Yeee
please check out the first slam dunk when u guys have free time
This is when the animation takes a poop unfortunately the best game I read this game first so I had high expectation 😔
FINALLY
Bro when will be Naruto and one piece 😢!!!! I am burned out by patiently waiting for this
Always found the cheer squad of inarizaki really obnoxious.
Bruh how can you hate Atsumu? Do you hate every talented people?
Personally i find him really cool and the boy is confident in himself (why wouldn't he be he's really strong). I like characters like him, they're fun. If he was all talk but no bite it would be different but he ain't nothing like that.
I m sure they prefer karasuno over anything in general so a talented threat is like a dislike right
@Chiyash yeah and that's something i can never understand, why hate a character just because they're in a rival team, when they're genuinely a good character? You can still support one team without bashing the other one.
@@aldnoah3857 yea diff personalities diff opinions its fine
I was so confused when they call Atsumu an abuser? I hope they were joking lol
@@daisuki718 also saying that girls like abusers like him, the hell bro i know they're "kinda" joking but their atsumu hate is really nonsensical at this point. They're doing too much
5:51 he meant that and succeeded at winning Her heart eventually 👀 any guesses who?
Honestly everyone rides the twins to hard. They might be the 4th-5th best team karassuno played. Idc what the national tournament has them seeded at when u watch them play you will see what i mean. No way these guys are even beating date tech
Oikawa wannabe and his twin
He’s nothing like oikawa bffr 💀
