this is only your 2nd or 3rd sports anime and it's only the mainstream ones XD. gotta watch Ace of diamond, Hajime no ipo, Ping pong, Baby Steps, Ashita no joe etc then we talking :)
The fact that in Haikyu!! anime there isn’t a single villain and people still love it because of its story telling just proves that how well written this is.
I had to re-read about a month ago all over again while waiting for the movie to release. I read it all again in like a week. I just couldn’t put it down, it’s just too good😭
Bro, I f*ing love seeing how this show manages to captivate even those who are not into sports animes or even sports at all. It just shows how a good story can get people involved regardless of taste. Nick, don't you dare drop this show bro, as someone who read the manga, I can say with full confidence, what comes next will be even better, and it'll keep getting better all the way to the end. There aren't many mangas or animes that people can wholeheartly say that ends just as well as it begins, Haikyuu is ABSOLUTELY one of those rare gems
just watched the dumpster battle on cinema a few days ago, and i tell you this, its fucccckkkkkkiiinngggg good, worth watching it, animation, pacing, chef's kiss
As a former athlete Haikyuu saved my career (and maybe life). Haikyuu’s manga ended right before my senior year of college (final student-athlete year), back then I didn’t know what my worth will be once I retire from competition. Haikyuu changed my perspective on my career. It taught me that I am more than my sport and now I’m doing my best outside of competition. I too believe that it is one of the best stories ever told and hands down my favorite anime of all time. I owe Haruichi Furudate my life
Man, me too. So many quotes that i always take to heart from this Manga/Anime. That said, i hope you're in a better place and mental state right now, i wish you all success and an eventful life, stranger
@@crescentmoondriver4343 ah, aren't we all. I have lots of ups and downs and some major failure in life too man. In my case i tried to be engineer, failed college, and now an apprentice as a mechanic. I dunno why i didn't gave up engineering, college traumatized me, but i had that moment when i'm sunk deeper in engineering moment both in Uni and in trade school, i guess i fell in love with engineering. Keep doing your best man, i'm doing that too, because "Opportunities present themselves to those who have prepared" and "We aren't limited to only one way of being great"
@@tuahsakato17 Aah I’m sorry man! Props to you for pushing it through. I’ve been living far away from family for a couple of years and haven’t seen them in a while. Just feeling lost somedays and don’t know where I’m heading. Thanks for the quotes very helpful. Remember that failure is part of a good story and that “we are the protagonists of this world”. Also “take it easy”!
Fun fact: Hoshiumi(the small guy with the white hair) was inspired by a real person playing in the Japanese national team, Yuji Nishida. Where Hoshiumi in Kanji is the reverse of the school Nishida went to
After having finally watched the full thing myself, Haikyuu is top 3 for me, maybe even 2nd ahead of AoT, purely because it just FEELS SO GOOD, it's relatable to anyone who went to pursue sports as a kid, and captures the childlike desire to just make friends and feel accepted better than anything I've ever seen
Thank you for your reaction! Season 4 starts with depression but got excited at the end. The movie was about the coming up match with Nekoma which was very moving; heard that it’ll be played in the US from the end of this month!
Thank you for the wonderful reaction. I really enjoyed it😂 I'm not interested in sports at all, but I love Haikyuu. I knew it from anime then I bought manga. Now I say Haikyuu is my bible since it has many words which give me philosophy of life.
Haikyu could be my favorite anime especially for Season4 which is the season that we all see the growth of every member, of karasuno from hinata, kageyama, Tanaka, nishinoya, etc. The greatest thing about this anime is that even if my life sucks, I could still be hopeful after watching haikyu. As it taught me lots of things, including never give up and try your best. Even if you lose, the failure will become the neutrinos of life which may leads to the success one day. Highly recommend this anime for those who haven’t watched
Would love a video about Haikyuu where you talk about the characters, music how you never thought of an Sports Anime making you get hooked this much etc. ❤😊
bro believe me i am an anime nerd for my whole 30 years old life, i've watched a lot , and my decision to put (Haikyuu) in top 3 in my best anime of all time, is the best thing that happened to me .
That's Haikyuu's magic! Haikyuu is probably the most loved anime/manga, everyone who watches it falls in love with the story and its characters. Even without knowing or being a fan of volleyball, Haikyuu makes you care too much and you end up being a fan.
Every couple months i come back to your channel and see you've fallen deeper and deeper down the anime rabbit hole LMAO, i remember when you heard your first Opening
Wait for the movie Nick. Ive watch it and can say that its truly a different experience from the anime. From the artstyle change and dynamic movement to amazing OST and hype moments, everything was done very well
Just a random little thing, that really high serve in ep11 is an actual thing, there is a outdoor volleyball player known as "Mr.Sunshine" because he is known for doing these, they are hard to do because to keep it in the small little box on the other side while maintaining that height is difficult, but the lights really mess with your perspective and when the ball comes down it comes down fast and not usually perfectly straight making it hard to place yourself where you need to and to see the ball with the lights blinding you.
Watch highlights of Yuji Nishida he is the best player of Japan national team, he is like combination of Hinata and Ushiwaka which is left handed and short for volleyball player, and Japan National Volleyball Team did Crossover and promotion with Haikyuu
It's amazing how the author didn't exaggerate the freak quick copy. When the Miya twins does it, they only able to do it short range because doing it at other ranges requires immense practice
React to the movie sooonnnn. Wait till you watch the movie. The animation, the story, it just keeps getting better. It's worth my money watched on cinema😂
Finally a reaction on a well written show 🤧 I was wondering if he forgot about Haikyuu as well alongside with all the actual good shows he put on the channel & then never continued -
I've said it a million times and I'll say it again: HINATA'S BALLBOY ARC WAS HIS BEST ARC. he learned so much more about technique, and had taken the first step to his future at becoming "ninja shoyo" and being a rounded power player. Without the ballboh arc he wouldn't have been much on the defensive side and it was SO necessary for him to just sit back and watch the court attentively because he never had before. THE BALLBOU ARC IS MY FAVORITE IF U CANT TELL😭😭🫶
Nick... I can see in this video that you're having a lot of fun, you're not pretending anything. When you are watching this anime you're living every second the way you would if you were playing with hinata and kageyama... I can really see in this video how much you've enjoyed this anime and I dare to say from this video, that in this anime you've had the best reaction and enjoyment yet... keep making a great content and hope you give other sports anime a chance like kuroko no basket, because that's great show as well! thanks for the great video Nick!
Some people say that Haikyuu is unrealistic, but that's not the case at all. You can clearly see this when you watch the Japanese national team play. As a Japanese volleyball fan, I truly respect Furudate sensei. (I'm using a translator, so the sentences may be a little weird🙃)

Maybe the coach from Shiratorizawa is some kind of villain for me.
@@zevenfilthNah he is just in complete denial lmao. He don't want to see someone succeed where he failed.

But that coach actually has very high expectations from Hinata.
Meanwhile Oikawa getting voted as the Nr.1 villain. 😂
Nick, As a manga reader I can confirm you this that Haikyuu!! just gets better after this. It never fell off. Not even for a single chapter.
It was so good that people wasn’t satisfied with the ending not because it was bad because they wanted more.
