I love how thes came out! Can you please list what products you used and how long you cured the top coat that the powder is applied on? I've seen some tutorials only applying a fraction of the recommended time listed on the top coat bottle.

Some gels won’t be sticky enough if u cure all the way. Leaving it in less tiMe so the powder sticks for sure.

They look beautiful! I tried it out but I realised that my problem is that my second coat of non wipe top coat (after the chrome powder) isn’t sticking that well on the top coat as it isn’t stick as the other layers beneath it - so after just one day I see small fractions of my chrome peeling off :( any recommendations for that?

You must use a chrome base first - ( makes chrome pigment vibrant) , there’s many brands out there. Keep in mind,not all non wipes are chrome magnet

If you have a non wipe topcoat, try curing it half the time and then applying chrome powder. Top with a base coat under another top coat so the top coat adheres to the chrome.

I need help...so when I apply chrome and layer it with top coat my chrome gets bubbly...where am I going wrong?

Maybe try a thicker type of top coat, a regular top coat with inhibition layer, or you can try adding some primer (I use young nails protein bond) on top of chrome and then the top coat. Also, make sure to brush off the excess chrome with a soft brush before top coating.
Chrome can be a pain but it's SO worth it! Good luck.

No. A nonwipe top is needed. If you use alcohol you will wipe off the sticky layer.

You might be using too much powder or not rubbing it in enough

Are you using a no-wipe top coat before the powder? If you are, then maybe you're not curing it long enough and it stays too sticky. Or maybe you're not removing the excess powder before sealing!

!IMPORTANT!
*DO NOT* wipe the gel polish off, go right in with the chrome so it sticks to the tacky layer. Thats how it sticks. (I found out after two pots, haha!)

No, it looks grainy. You must use a chrome base first, don’t rub the pigment directly after a cure gel color, The sticky layer is the inhibition layer. Your chrome should go on a smooth layer.

Nope, chrome powder is supposed to be used on non wipe top coats specifically! If you apply it on the sticky layer it won't have that chrome finish!

​@richzero0any no wipe product will do! Make sure you cure it for only 50%-75% of the recommended curing time, then apply the powder, then complete the curing time before applying the top coat on top!
