What are you using to wipe?
Also do you need a top coat once the powder has been added?
Maybe I’m late to answer but yes, with any powder you need a top coat. You want to cover it really good so that powder stays longer

After you applied the main color and before you applied the halo powder did you wipe the tacky coating?
I applied holo powder on non clirence top

Chrome is a pretty sparkly silver, holographic is rainbow like you see here, mirror affect is like chrome just reflective, you can see in it like a mirror. They are all powders of the same consistency. Hopefully what I said is not confusing!

As much as I love nails and all the different kinds of nail styles. My one shortfall is my commitment to the time it takes to do it. After the first minute, it was already too much work for me. Heh heh
This is not really explained why is the chrome added after top coat doesn’t it need top coat after the chrome?

Does this only work with gel polish or can a regular polish be used as the base for the holographic powder? Can we also use a non gel topcoat as well?
I am afraid that you can not make holographic effect with regular polish

You should wipe it if you use stick top

Yes, else you won't be able to rub it onto the nail. If you don't it'll mix with the gel or you'll just be wiping the wet gel off your nail

I'm curious, could I skip the top coat and do chrome just over the second coat of the color? I'm just wondering why over the top coat and then top coat again? I try to save time but maybe that wouldn't work for some reason

I got mine on amazon and it was only like 5 bucks and it works great!! I always hear not to buy cheap holo chrome powder but I did anyways and it looks no different than expensive ones! Plus AliExpress takes FOREVER!! 😫
Do you maybe have the link to the product? I buyed one on Aliexpress but It isn’t the same.. now my nails are full of glitter but not with the holo-effect. :-(
