- This is a clip from the interview DragBoss did with 77 year old Leonard Long, owner of G Force Transmission, when he picked up the G force 101A 4 speed transmission for the 69 Mustang. Leonard has a great crew to help him win 6 NMCA Championships, on his way to number 7. Leonard has a long, no pun intended racing history. In the photos, are his long time girl, Sarah, also from North Carolina, Robbie who handles the NASCAR entity of G-Force Transmission. His 95 Ford Mustang, runs Evil IV, 415 ci sbf, based on Dart block, Carrillo rods, Diamond Pistons, Ford D3 heads, by Dave Visner in Michigan, with Holley fuel injection/system, with 8 injectors, Leonard, made his own Tunnel Ram intake, and Throttle bodies. Makes over 1000hp.
Well I know DragBoss has been fitting the transmission, and made a video so stay tuned for that. I can tell you it is not just bolt in, when it come to race cars. Leonard also agreed to a live chat, so probably not happen until after the end of racing season. Good Luck Leonard Long in Dart NA 10.5 NMCA racing series.
Leonard's a great guy, with a great company. It means a lot when the guy you're buying parts from is at the track using the same stuff.
Leonard’s a great guy!
Dam straight in that one. No doubt.
@@prostock007for sure, and smart as a whip
When you're looking for inspiration, look to the GENERAL!
Thank you for this, Mrs. DragBoss! Cool car. Cool engine. Your '69 Mustang will be pretty cool too!
Hey Bill. Leonard is the man. Her Mustang is going to be one not seen in a long time.
@@DragBoss351Cleveland Will be seen and heard. No doubt!
Nice interview, nice Mustang.
Thanks Dragboss!👍🇺🇸👍
Your most welcome Ed
DBG great content you are the man
Thanks so much. Just trying to keep it all real, and recorded
Hi Leonard! Awesome car and engine!💪🏼💪🏼
Beautiful Mustang!!!!
Wow awesome! DBG for the win!
Trying 110 percent, more on the way.
May the FORD be with you!
Always my friend 🏁
What does it run?
7.80 1/4 mile
Badass man❤🇺🇸💪🏼🏁
With a doubt.
When I seen this video I thought it was Mrs. Dragboss's car almost ready to run.😳 I'm glad it isn't, she needs to work her way up to racing with that kind of power.😁😎👍
We would both need to work our way up. I will be happy with 9.0 and Mrs DragBoss with 10.0 😎
lol. Yes I’m glad it’s not either🤣🏁
302 block making 400+ cubic inches.... come on dude, why did you even ask that?
What is wrong with the question?
Tell you the truth, never knew ci of the engine, oh well. Thanks for pointing out this important detail, helps us all understand this video.
@@DragBoss351Cleveland its in the title!
I'm not a subscriber and just stumbled on your channel; this is a very cool car you're showing I appreciate that.
But if I can critique you; where is the beef?..lol
What kind of times does he run?
I'm just curious why that was not in the video.
7,80 in the 1/4 mile, 5 speed trans
Well I DragBoss did the interview, and rattled off the specs, I hurriedly wrote down. Must have missed the times. But yes it runs 7.80s, with his GF 2000, 5 speed box. In line for win #7 NMCA Dart NA 10.5 series
I just think I forgot to emphasize the numbers. Oh well, sorry Mrs DragBoss ♥️
In the video I believe Leonard mentioned 1080 horsepower. The comments listed the displacement at 415 cu/in. I think 2.60 horsepower per cubic inch of naturally aspirated Ford Clevor power is plenty beefy 🏁
