I love you my sweet husband ❤️ you are such a strong, resilient human being and have the most beautiful soul. I am so proud of you, of how much you've accomplished, so proud of you for never giving up and following your dreams no matter what obstacles may have stood in your way. You're amazing ❤️
I lost my two fingers at my right hand which I'm scared to bring out from my pocket but seeing this video do encourage me not to be ashamed of what I look like.
I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you don't have pain. Try to embrace it. Most people don't even look or recognize it. And it feels so much better. I had a sock on my hand for years because i was ashamed. But once i got rid of it, it felt so much better.
strangers will think it weird to have your hand in your pocket all the time -there is also a personal safety issue here.. No shame in being an accident victim.
Thank you for having courage to tell of the event which turned your life and vision of the future totally around. You give others hope to also heal from this kind of trauma. A right hand injury is something that most doctors recoil from treating. This I experienced also when those who could help me... the doctors.. walked past me while I sat there with my gnawed right hand. It took hours before a doctor turned up who actually was prepared to come near me and touch my hand. They needed a specialist hand doctor which was something that hospital didn't have. When a right hand injury happens to you it causes your inner being to go on pause. I. M so grateful that you timed this video ten years later to give others hope and that you wake up to start overcoming your fears again. This I mean is the revulsion we see in others and I point out the revulsion some doctors show at us for bringing out their humanity towards us.
Thank you - for your kind words and for watching my video. I know life sometimes challenges us in different ways but I know we can overcome anything if there is a will. It's what we make out of it. And yes, sometimes a little time is also needed. And good people to take care of things.

Just came across your video. It hit me pretty hard. A month ago I got my right hand caught between a rim and brake caliper. Was stuck there for five minutes till I could get my hand out. When i got it out my ring finger had been crushed and nearly severed off. It was the most chilling experience I ever had. In november 2010 at school, we got an assignment from our teacher to roll some steel plates that we would later weld together to make a cylinder. We were working in pairs, and i told my classmate to do this task because i'd done it before, and he hadn't. He did a couple passes, progressively bending the plate into form, when suddenly i heard the sound of crushed bone, and i saw that his hand was halfway into the machine. He immediately went into shock, and didn't say anything. I ran to the teacher and told him we have a serious problem. I will never forget the look on his face when he realized what had happened. The teacher dismantled the machine as fast as humanly possible, and told me to stay with my classmate while he took the rest of the students away to the classroom until the paramedics got there. While we were waiting for the ambulance, the pain was starting to set in and he started rambling about losing his entire hand. I gave him some hope by saying that most of his hand was unharmed, and i'm sure the doctors can fix a lot of it. I then diverted the conversation to topics of his interest, like Nintendo games that we both enjoyed. For a minute there he completely forgot about his whole situation. After he was picked up by the ambulance, he was taken to the hospital where they removed 2 fingers. They tried to save a third one, but it eventually died. This guy is now my brother in law.
