Hey. I just lost part of my ring finger, I've lost the whole digit. It's actually really traumatic, I was laughing at the time, seeing my finger on the table.. but it really wasn't funny. It's actually kinda life changing! Really good video. Needed this!x I wish you all the best. 💙💙
As daunting vulnerability may be, it is rewarding too as it kinda sets us free. I keep coming back to this - "Being our messy, imperfect, authentic selves helps creates a space where others feel safe to be themselves too. Your vulnerability can be a gift to others. How badass is that?" Great work dude! We need more people talking about such stuff.
I love that Shreya! I really do, such a nice quote and there's nothing better than allowing others to feel safe to be themselves. Thanks again for the comment, I really appreciate your energy!
I saw lots of your youtube. But I've ever acknowledged that. Bcz your presentation is really cool and you have the power to make people focus. You're good speaker. And Watching you video, I only focused on your eyes. Bcz It feels like that I'm on a lecture hall! And I also hope that The books you recommened will be published on korea...Maybe several books might have published already..
Missing my middle finger too. (motorcycle accident at 19yr old, 33 now) The first few years i was very self conscious, would always have my hand in my pocket, would hide it in pictures. I mostly thought it would be a hinderance in life. Like i wouldn't be able to get girls, i can never ride a motorcycle again, cant play video games. After a while i realized i was still fully capable of doing everything and anything i wanted to do in life (besides bowling lol). And the only thing that was hindering me was my mind, so i focused more on building confidence. The gym helped a lot in that aspect. And today i wear it as badge on honor. Showing off injuries is very common amongst people who love motorcycles, im sure when you talk to other mountain climbers its a great story.
Being vulnerable is the most difficult thing I've ever attempted to do. It's terrifying to embrace insecurities and things about yourself that are not up-to-standard in the eyes of society.
Love this EC, thanks for sharing ❤️ it’s not easy but every time you feel like you’re being vulnerable you learn a bit more about yourself and that’s the key to progress I think
My son lost his right ring finger at 14 lost it on a fence couldnt be found 😢and now he is 21 he confidents is in a all time low he dont show it keeps hand in pocket and struggles with it alot
my younger brother is 16b years old , he lost his left hands pinky finger, we are i a huge trauma, what should i do to help him and to save him from this dark so called society?
