WHAT IS TALK HEATHEN?
Talk Heathen is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared toward long-form and on-going dialogue with theists & atheists about religion, theism, & secularism. Talk Heathen is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
Talk Heathen is filmed in front of a live studio audience every week at the Freethought Library of the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop & support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing & friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of government-religion separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists & to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

It really sucks. Im now in a situation where I might be forced to leave where I live currently because of a radical narcissistic family member. I dont have enough money to make it happen so I desperately hope I can save enough money quick enough and find a feasible option to make things work. Im sick of being insulted, propagandized too, manipulated, gas lit, and lorded over. Im stupid, immoral, and dogmatic because I accept scientific evidence and wont believe in creationism. Every gift or nice thing done for me, even if I offer to return the favor or pay them back, gets held over me and used to guilt trip me and make me feel like an asshole at a later date. Don't know what I should do beyond fucking leave.
You cannot choose your family. Blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb. You have decent family who isnt trash? Do not take them for granted. I have no family.
