Cold air intake/Conical filter! Won't give you much performance until you do stage two, but the car will sound so good that that alone will be worth it 😌 (tried and tested on two cars 🤓)
I got the Ecotune stage 1 done on my Octavia 1.8TSI through harmonixx, Bangalore. I had similar issues with traction. However upgrading my tyres to Michelin PS4 (225, 45, R17) really helped sort this issue out
@@AutoFly The PS4 tyres are great & quite sticky. Just completed a Bangalore Goa return trip and the tyres were awesome on various types of roads. Of course there is more road noise as these are relatively lower profile compared to stock but still very much livable. Also the ride is a bit firmer than stock (I run Bilstein B6 shocks) but I have no problem using the car as a daily driver
@@amitmanjul8780 hi can you tell me how to procure bilstein shocks? I want to do suspension overhaul for my Vento tdi. I live in a tier 3 city so I don’t know genuine spare sellers to buy from when I go to any metro.
Great video man. Just a recommendation from my side that maybe create some content around F1 cars, I'd be really interested to watch that on your channel. Keep up the good work👏🏻👏🏻
Question , i have a Superb , is there are way to make it on a switch , since its software upgrade , so that i can drive normally and then when i want to get a bit of sports drive switch the ECU on . Is that a possibility ?
Hey, so there are 2 options here. You can either go with a ECU tuning chip such as Racechip for eg. Next option you have is changing your ECU and getting a custom one which lets you run multiple Remaps on it. But this will be expensive. I would suggest not doing that and going in for a non switchable remap, it would be easier and you can always put back the stock map whenever you want through the tuner who does it for you.
@@AutoFly I fugured out i can tune it above 3000RPM, since in automatic Drive mode it doesnt go above that . And then when i want sport drive i put it in Sport where it does go over 3000 So that way i kind of have a switch . I dont need ECU at all , i think Tuner can remap and edit my ECU, stock one , just remapped , would that be possible
Hey bro!! I have been following your channel for quite some time. I am new in city and looking for someone who can fix my charge actuator in Octavia 1.4 tsi. However I don’t know who to go to. Skoda is charging Bomb to repair it.
Hello Rahul, Thank you for reaching out , for your particular problem , totally can understand your issue , for that we can recommend our friend please hit them up on Instagram and you will get your solution reach them out at @vag.central.mumbai and talk to Aditya , you will be in good hands don't worry.
Recommendation for next upgrade to Octavia: Induction kit to improve airflow to the enginer and Turbo exhaust to improve airflow from the enginer. If the above is a bit too costly then you may consider options to improve the traction (as learnt from the video) as wheel spin is a critical issue to be addressed.
Hi I currently own a ciaz zdi, planning to sell it ... Should I go for a used 1.8 tsi mk3 ? Plan is to do a stage 1+ on it but really worried about the dq200 😰 how reliable is it ?
Would suggest a Mk3.5, it's more reliable as they fixed quite a few issues from the Mk3. DQ 200 if maintained well is fine. If the car is not tuned, it should not be a problem
@@AutoFly Sorry, but what transmision fluid? DQ200 has dry clutches. The only fluid is in the mechatronic, but it doesn't require change. Also DQ200 is limited to 250 Nm, which the engine makes standard
Hi, Could you tell the model and varient of the car? Do you still own the car, if yes, could you give a long-term review after the stage 1 remap? How does it feel, any issues experienced, so and so..? Thanks
Hello Shiv , thank you for reaching out , this car is the Skoda Octavia Onyx 1.8L petrol Variant , and the car itself is beautiful to drive and after stage 1 the way it just packs a power punch and its is amazing , no complains with running a stage 1 whatsoever , same maintenance & service routines , our car has been recently sold.
Hello Kayess, It majorly depends on which tune brand are you going for or is it custom and from where i.e. which city or which tuner too but an average range to be considered is about 20-40k
@@AutoFly i did with my audi and regret with that decision. the clutch burns after 10000 miles. audi and skoda are from volkswagon group. The piston rings get affected too.

That's great to hear, I'm also looking to swap my tyres once these wear out so definitely looking for something stickier

Flywheel or clutch started to rattle yet with the extra power? It’s gonna be pricey bruh
Nope touchwood so far no issues and don't expect them to rattle also , clutch is a concern but stage 2 on for us personally

Hi bro i am going to buy scoda octavia 2014, 2.0 could you explain me about service cost ?
How much torque can the car handle without changing clutch or mapping gearbox?
Depends on the car and base gearbox configurations

Totally depends on the condition of the car as a whole, whether maintained well, etc
Hi,
Is this only the Remap or have you got any part upgrades as well?
Have just got the remap done. May get some more upgrades done as well.
hi, is it petrol?
Yes , correct
Hi der...do you know where we can get a rear diffuser for the Octavia
Depends on your budget, do you want a good branded one or any will do?
Hey, you must have got a TCU remap done as well right? Or only ECU?
Planning to do a TCU remap soon as well, right now only ECU
@@AutoFly Thanks for replying. Can you suggest the best option for ECU and TCU remapping in Bangalore?
@prakhar mittal wolfmoto performance, at engineering exponents Whitefield Bengaluru.
I heard ( listen keenly) turbo sound in ford figo after higher rpm
how does the DSG holding up?this must be DQ 200
Yes it is, and currently it's fine, hoping it stays like that.
How much does the tune cost you?
Depends on the tune you choose, anywhere between 20k to 60k
There is no chance you get that power increase with a stage 1.
We are investigating the same currently as different dynos are giving us different results.
Install rs3 kit and remap your A3
Sadly a remap on the A3 is adding around 20 HP at the most. So in 2 minds about it
Is it octavia vrs?
Hey, this is the 1.8tsi it's not the VRS
How s dq200 holding up with that torque?
It's holding up fine until now. It has been recommended to me that I should change my transmission fluid at around 20k kms just for safety.

Only 370nm? My stage 1 has lower torque then alot of other Octavia's and mine is at 449nm.
Your car must be diesel right? How much HP?
Revo, Apr, Celtic, quantum + many more all quote 300ps and 440Nm for stage 1 2.0tsi 220ps engine.
Install Forge BOV for turbo stutututu sound :D
Ahaha yes will do that hopefully soon

Yes, it does affect the reliability of the gearbox

mileage after remap
This is an agressive map, so mileage has reduced to around 8-9km/l

260 at Crank
