Great lesson. That pinky chord is my 80 chord. Used and abused by me. Always in rehearsals I improvise with this, add palm mutting and two high strings Barre chord and is glam now

Nobody can write riffs like EVH ... The second the intro started i could tell it was unchained chords. I am 57 years old was playing Van Halen tunes since I discovered their first album. I think the concept of what your doing is good but to take a song written by EVH and change it just enough to write music of thier own is kinda disrespectful to his talent and his hard work. Maybe covers are cool but to encourage someone to use his songs to make thier songs is not original and I know its hard to be original these days as so many out there doing so much these days but to say you can write riffs like EVH and use his songs to do it is not writing its copying his work for thier profit.. Sounding like him is impossibility for sure no matter how close anyone sounds like Eddie they cant be much more than a copy that didnt work to create it from scratch.. Good luck and God bless.
