- This is my tribute to the mighty Eddie Van Halen! The man who gave a lot to this world and left us too early. Van Halen is one of my favorite guitar players of all time and I miss him a lot. He was a great person, a great musician, composer, songwriter, guitar player and so on. I tried to choose only 10 EVH guitar riffs but it's so hard and I decided to include a bunch of other riffs. Thus you'll see top 10 Van Halen riffs in the first part of the video and then you'll see bonus riffs.

Same. For years all I’d heard was Eruption and Jump but for whatever reason never went further even though I liked it. I heard their song Ain’t Talkin Bout Love today, that’s a great song and such a beautiful, catchy riff. Time to finally start doing some deep diving of my own.
Yup...safe to say alot of guitarists wouldnt be around if not for his innovative style.....tom morello,for example,seems to have built on eddies style,among many others....

I absolutely love his little harmonics that are constant throughout his riffing on the first album

Honestly, the Guitar Hero: Van Halen game was one of my favorite GH games to play because that game had all these hidden gems that many people don't know about and they were so fun to play. Eddie was a magician with a guitar and paved the way for many guitarists today. RIP Eddie

Started with my favorite song from VH🤘🏻been jamming to Van Halen since I was like 4 saw them in 2012 and 2015 wish I was alive back in the day to have seen them in their prime but grateful for the times I did see the band. RIP Eddie my favorite guitarist from my favorite band!🤘🏻

You're "drop dead legs" And "Mean streets" were spot on tone wise etc. All riffs were great but the 2 mentioned were exceptional, as was "5150" one of my very favorite VH songs, great job!
