You talk about Snap-shotting in your video at 11:45 but in Wod, Bliz pretty much did away with Snap-shots. Quote from patch notes: For example, a Priest’s trinket procs and an already active Shadow Word: Pain will begin dealing more damage the instant the proc effect occurs, but will return to normal when the proc duration ends. Skilled players will be able to play within these proc durations to maximize effect, but it won’t be as detrimental to output to anyone who isn’t actively and skillfully using them to their full extent.

Voosker Doo Thanks bud :). Yeah, I'm really trying to slow down but it's so difficult. I promise I am really trying XD. Where I grew up, talking fast is the way everyone speaks so trying to get out of that habit is hard. If I force talking slow I seem to stutter. I'm gonna keep working at it though :).
You might want to add conditionals to your macro like this: /use [talent:6/3] Nature's Vigil . To make sure you will use spell only if the appropriate talent is selected. You can also use the same thing for Incarnation. (using "/use" cause it has 1 less letter :)
In the burst macro I think berserk should go before tigers fury so you can first gain the extra 50 energy. That way when tigers fury is applied you have an opportunity to go above 100 hundred energy. The way your macro is written you may lose out on extra energy, I believe.

Just wondering what spell is under "13" for one shot. Also, for your opening when do you include Savage roar into there? For your rotation you say "Burst" macro, are you referring to your one shot macro? Are you able to, or is someone able to write out your final rotation, It is kind of hard to understand some of the things you say. Keep up the good work!

Hey man, first of all: thanks for the guide. Have been watching your videos for quite some time, keep it up! :) I've got a question for you. I feel like you could help me more than the official forum :D I would like to try a very different gameplay style, and wanted to know if you think it's viable. The idea is to become more of a support role, than an actual DD. Take Claws of Shivalla. For stats I would like to focus on Versatility > Crit > Haste. My idea is to push my heal with versatility/crit/haste, so that I can assist team mates more. All 3 stats are good for both, healing and dmg, while obviously versatility would be the main stat to focus on. This way I would be more tanky and could heal more, while still doing decent dmg. Obviously way less dmg than a feral druid with your specc and stat prio would do. I just like to play a more defensive style of gameplay, with the ability to take the role of a healer for a short time. Do you think the extra versatility and crit (and haste for faster healing touches) would suffice to keep teammates allive for a short time? I dislike the fact that as of now, feral druids need to play very aggressive and you can still heal yourself pretty damn good while going all in...
Yowthebro Hmm... This is an interesting one. Although it sounds good on paper, I wouldn't really recommend this due to gaining enough versatility for the damage increase, damage taken reduction and the increased healing to be strong is probably impossible with the removal of reforging. If you was able to do this though, it could be quite interesting. Not sure how viable it would be in arena but in BGs it could have it's benefit as you'd be almost like a tank and a healer as well as a DPS. TL;DR, I don't think you'd be able to stack enough versatility for it to work.
actually, if you want to target your partner in any spell, use this, /cast [target=party1] Rejuvenation just replace rejuv with whatever spell, so you don't have to type in the name of your partner. just thought i'd tell you that. Awesome tips tho, thanks a million. also, this is the macro i use in 2's, arenas... 3's you might run into problems.
Hey Coon :) Great Guide! i`m new to Feral and it helps me alot to get started. But i would like to know with what do you Play the Feral? Is it just a normal Keyboard, or a Keypad like Razer Nostromo/Tartarus/Orbweaver ? and which Mouse?. I got my Orbweaver and a Logitech G600 now, but i find it really hard to know which Spell is on which Button. I played with a normal Keyboard before, but a good Friend recommended me a Orbweaver and a G600 for more Keybindings, so i hope i get used to it. Do you have some advices maybe? and how long has it taken for you, to know all the keybinds?
McNe0BlueMc Hi McNe0BlueMc :). I use a normal keyboard and I use a Perixx MX-2000 mouse. Learning keybinds can take a while, spend a while just practicing them. Just out in the open world, try to do the keybinds without looking at your action bar until you know them - that's what I did :).

Dikii koko I generally put it in my one-shot because it's not great outside of our one shot really. Sometimes I will burst+NV to keep myself/partners alive. You don't need to put it in the one shot, I just do :).
BR, about the Guild idea, I'm normally Horde but if you want to start an Alliance guild, I have a lvl 81 Night Elf Druid on Ravenholdt that I can rez. It's a slow server, but it might meet our needs.
Hi there, great guide and all but i've been maining feral for 2 expansions now. I just want to see what your take is on what you should do while you're in the no energy zone. Training a target and having nothing to to do whilst re-genning energy, is it worth taking that time out to switch out and apply the moonfire dot or even just to cc the other target?
Hi man, great video! Just wondering if you have any experience with the oneshot-macro not working properly? For me it works just sometimes, meaning just one button-press triggers all the abilities, but a lot of times Incarnation doesn't go off. It's very annoying to notice after some time that my incarnation isn't active(little new to feral druid) :) . Pretty sure I've spelled everything correctly, because it sometimes works.
Water Dessert Hi man, cheers :). Sometimes that happens. It depends on whether you press the macro during GCD. If you press it when the icons are still scrolling, Incarnation wont activate.
How does the focus cyclone macro work? Do you cyclone the other target (for instance the healer, in a arena) or what? Because the way you describe it, it sounds like it's just a cyclone on the target your attacking
atnott With ferals, we're now really susceptible to stuns. We need to save our trinket for moments where we can die to either pop wall or Heart Of the Wild.
Why would you put nature's vigil in your burst macro? It doesn't add damage anymore and is entirely situational. Dream of Cenarius is an incredibly strong talent when coupled with blood talons, creates a more comfortable window for your PS procs also, not to mention it currently provides the highest sustained damage. With mangle being removed, it's very easy to feel energy starved, dream of cenarius helps with that.
The reason I put NV in the burst macro was because NV used with Incarnation and Berserk has a huge healing output. I don't actually use NV that much, maybe when fighting certain comps as Kitty Cleave but I tend to go for DoC or HoTW. If someone does run NV, I suggest they bind it as well just in case they need to pop it outside of burst :).
Is this guide still reliable. I personally use the same rotations. But my other source tells me this order to stat priority agility = PvP Power > Multistrike > Versatility > Haste >= Crit > Mastery. can you explain why they might put mastery so far back?
AngryDuck Never trust Noxxic. Their site is known to be the worst website for finding out stuff. I'm yet to see them have anything right XD. I would only trust sites like Skill-Capped, Good-Gaming and Gamers-League for guides.
Hey man, I just subbed because this was a massive help. Keen to check you out on twitch. Huge time difference though being in Perth Australia but will see how I go. Have you got any videos of you doing arena with a running commentary of what abilities you are using and any vids of you explaining when to cc targets and why? Everything just seems so random to me lol. Also your clearcasting proc. What do you use it on? I was told to use it on thrash since it adds an extra DoT but it seems weak. Last thing. The set bonuses for pvp gear, should I get the 2 piece for reset on TF and then get the rest of the gear that has crit and forget about the 4 piece bonus? Thanks man keep up the good work!

Hey Banana, I just wanted to say I love getting guides and feral info from you. After switching to feral in WoD I have noticed I have been dying really fast. Do you have a macro I could use sort of as a defensive one? or have something I should do when dying?
Carbo Darbi I'm glad my guides are helpful :P. We don't really have a defensive macro. We have to save our trinket for when we need to pop wall and HoTW. With the removal of Barkskin, we're quite squishy now and have to be a bit more careful. You can get away with not using rip but I'd recommend using it :P.

Reallly, really in depth and helped me ALOT I can now 1v1 the nerd british kids and asians. But is bloodtalons worth taking over the CoS if it's harder to use? Just wondering if a good bloodtalins 60% of the time is better than CoS. TY
nice guide man! is the stat priority comp dependent? Still feel like a lot of comps would benefit more from strong Feral bleeds as opposed to more random burst
Nythix7 With reforging gone, most items will have mastery and crit on it. I'm currently decked out in mastery due to the gear I've got but bleeds still do nothing :(.

This is insanely helpful, not many guides this early in the expansion! just wondering though, just throughout arena, I'll have rip and rake up, but i'm feeling energy starved, is this a problem? or is energy pooling not important for ferals?
Muertesix Moo Glad it was helpful :). Feral energy isn't great until later in the expansion. It's not a huge issue but feral isn't a spam class. Sometimes it's good to wait for energy regen rather than press a button as soon as you can. During the downtime, throw off rejuvs :).

žan bojec Thanks, bud :). I go with Bloodtalons because the 30% damage increase when using HT is really strong. Unfortunately, the damage increase, healing increase and damage reduction from Claws isn't very strong. I'm yet to meet a feral who does even half of my damage in skirmishes and BGs yet :).
I am having an incredibly difficult time surviving burst when I get focused on in arenas. I die almost instantly whenever they jump on me and literally have no time to do anything, even after popping HoTW and CW and Rejuve, I still go down within seconds. I am fully geared with some Glad. Don't know what else to do
Berserk gives you +50 max energy, so you go from 100 to 150 max energy, but stay at 100 energy when you use it. With this in mind, why does your burst macro have tiger's fury, which gives 60 energy, BEFORE berserk?
Hi, first of all, gr8 vid dude! i just reached lvl 100 with my druid and now im not sure if i should play feral or boomy. Im at both specs experienced but the only question i would love to get answered is the thing with my energy. So i know i do good dmg with feral but it happens so often that im out of energy and it feels so shit to stay there and doing nearly nothing for a couple of seconds until tiger furys up again. So my question is how do u manage ur energy? After ur first use of tigers fury, ur going to be energyless for a while.. i feel so useless this time.
Mc Maric With feral at the moment, our energy regen is bad. The playstyle is not to spam buttons but to pool up energy to do short bursts every now and then. Hope this helps :).

Sorry, I'm new to WoW and didn't properly understand a few words that were key. When you were explaining the macro (one shot) you later in rotations mentioned the burst macro. Is this a separate macro or the (one shot) macro? You also mentioned to make sure your "onious" (not sure what you said) trinket is in the top trinket slot. Also in rotations when you mentioned the full rotations you said "Shred>Rip>Shred>Shred>Shred>Rake>(couldn't understand. sounded like "pliyed by hands". Could you please tell me the words and what the "burst macro" is. Thanks.

Robert Wood Trinkets don't snapshot anymore but Tiger's Fury, Bloodtalons and Savage Roar still snapshot.

Hey man, first of all: thanks for the guide. Have been watching your videos for quite some time, keep it up! :) I've got a question for you. I feel like you could help me more than the official forum :D I would like to try a very different gameplay style, and wanted to know if you think it's viable. The idea is to become more of a support role, than an actual DD. Take Claws of Shivalla. For stats I would like to focus on Versatility > Crit > Haste. My idea is to push my heal with versatility/crit/haste, so that I can assist team mates more. All 3 stats are good for both, healing and dmg, while obviously versatility would be the main stat to focus on. This way I would be more tanky and could heal more, while still doing decent dmg. Obviously way less dmg than a feral druid with your specc and stat prio would do. I just like to play a more defensive style of gameplay, with the ability to take the role of a healer for a short time. Do you think the extra versatility and crit (and haste for faster healing touches) would suffice to keep teammates allive for a short time? I dislike the fact that as of now, feral druids need to play very aggressive and you can still heal yourself pretty damn good while going all in...
Yowthebro Hmm... This is an interesting one. Although it sounds good on paper, I wouldn't really recommend this due to gaining enough versatility for the damage increase, damage taken reduction and the increased healing to be strong is probably impossible with the removal of reforging.
If you was able to do this though, it could be quite interesting. Not sure how viable it would be in arena but in BGs it could have it's benefit as you'd be almost like a tank and a healer as well as a DPS.
TL;DR, I don't think you'd be able to stack enough versatility for it to work.
actually, if you want to target your partner in any spell, use this, /cast [target=party1] Rejuvenation
just replace rejuv with whatever spell, so you don't have to type in the name of your partner. just thought i'd tell you that. Awesome tips tho, thanks a million.
also, this is the macro i use in 2's, arenas... 3's you might run into problems.

I use a normal keyboard and I use a Perixx MX-2000 mouse. Learning keybinds can take a while, spend a while just practicing them. Just out in the open world, try to do the keybinds without looking at your action bar until you know them - that's what I did :).
Dream of Cenarious--Bloodtalons... Combo.. Is Huge healing for both.. Make macro Focus target and use HT and Hot on focus..

Dikii koko I generally put it in my one-shot because it's not great outside of our one shot really. Sometimes I will burst+NV to keep myself/partners alive. You don't need to put it in the one shot, I just do :).
BR, about the Guild idea, I'm normally Horde but if you want to start an Alliance guild, I have a lvl 81 Night Elf Druid on Ravenholdt that I can rez. It's a slow server, but it might meet our needs.

Hi there, great guide and all but i've been maining feral for 2 expansions now. I just want to see what your take is on what you should do while you're in the no energy zone. Training a target and having nothing to to do whilst re-genning energy, is it worth taking that time out to switch out and apply the moonfire dot or even just to cc the other target?
dXMMMO Put up rejuvs, rebuff, pay extra attention to everything going on in the arena (positioning, cooldowns etc.) and cyclone if a CC is needed.

Just wondering if you have any experience with the oneshot-macro not working properly? For me it works just sometimes, meaning just one button-press triggers all the abilities, but a lot of times Incarnation doesn't go off. It's very annoying to notice after some time that my incarnation isn't active(little new to feral druid) :) . Pretty sure I've spelled everything correctly, because it sometimes works.
Water Dessert Hi man, cheers :). Sometimes that happens. It depends on whether you press the macro during GCD. If you press it when the icons are still scrolling, Incarnation wont activate.

How does the focus cyclone macro work? Do you cyclone the other target (for instance the healer, in a arena) or what? Because the way you describe it, it sounds like it's just a cyclone on the target your attacking
Love the guide. I just hit 100 and die in almost every stun. Is it a gear thing? Also I am curious, what is your off-spec?
atnott With ferals, we're now really susceptible to stuns. We need to save our trinket for moments where we can die to either pop wall or Heart Of the Wild.
Why would you put nature's vigil in your burst macro? It doesn't add damage anymore and is entirely situational. Dream of Cenarius is an incredibly strong talent when coupled with blood talons, creates a more comfortable window for your PS procs also, not to mention it currently provides the highest sustained damage. With mangle being removed, it's very easy to feel energy starved, dream of cenarius helps with that.
The reason I put NV in the burst macro was because NV used with Incarnation and Berserk has a huge healing output. I don't actually use NV that much, maybe when fighting certain comps as Kitty Cleave but I tend to go for DoC or HoTW. If someone does run NV, I suggest they bind it as well just in case they need to pop it outside of burst :).
@bastian blaafalk I did say in the video the PS procs can be purged :).
Is this guide still reliable. I personally use the same rotations. But my other source tells me this order to stat priority agility = PvP Power > Multistrike > Versatility > Haste >= Crit > Mastery. can you explain why they might put mastery so far back?

AngryDuck Never trust Noxxic. Their site is known to be the worst website for finding out stuff. I'm yet to see them have anything right XD. I would only trust sites like Skill-Capped, Good-Gaming and Gamers-League for guides.

Have you got any videos of you doing arena with a running commentary of what abilities you are using and any vids of you explaining when to cc targets and why? Everything just seems so random to me lol.
Also your clearcasting proc. What do you use it on? I was told to use it on thrash since it adds an extra DoT but it seems weak. Last thing. The set bonuses for pvp gear, should I get the 2 piece for reset on TF and then get the rest of the gear that has crit and forget about the 4 piece bonus?

Hey Banana, I just wanted to say I love getting guides and feral info from you. After switching to feral in WoD I have noticed I have been dying really fast. Do you have a macro I could use sort of as a defensive one? or have something I should do when dying?

Carbo Darbi I'm glad my guides are helpful :P. We don't really have a defensive macro. We have to save our trinket for when we need to pop wall and HoTW. With the removal of Barkskin, we're quite squishy now and have to be a bit more careful.
You can get away with not using rip but I'd recommend using it :P.

Reallly, really in depth and helped me ALOT I can now 1v1 the nerd british kids and asians. But is bloodtalons worth taking over the CoS if it's harder to use? Just wondering if a good bloodtalins 60% of the time is better than CoS. TY

Nythix7 With reforging gone, most items will have mastery and crit on it. I'm currently decked out in mastery due to the gear I've got but bleeds still do nothing :(.

This is insanely helpful, not many guides this early in the expansion! just wondering though, just throughout arena, I'll have rip and rake up, but i'm feeling energy starved, is this a problem? or is energy pooling not important for ferals?
Muertesix Moo Glad it was helpful :). Feral energy isn't great until later in the expansion. It's not a huge issue but feral isn't a spam class. Sometimes it's good to wait for energy regen rather than press a button as soon as you can. During the downtime, throw off rejuvs :).

Nice video im realy looking forward for new guides and stuff! But i dont get 1 thing why do you go bloodtalons over claws? In my opinion i pref claws because of constant dmg increase and healing.
žan bojec Thanks, bud :). I go with Bloodtalons because the 30% damage increase when using HT is really strong. Unfortunately, the damage increase, healing increase and damage reduction from Claws isn't very strong. I'm yet to meet a feral who does even half of my damage in skirmishes and BGs yet :).

I am having an incredibly difficult time surviving burst when I get focused on in arenas. I die almost instantly whenever they jump on me and literally have no time to do anything, even after popping HoTW and CW and Rejuve, I still go down within seconds. I am fully geared with some Glad. Don't know what else to do
I dont know if you know this or not but a successful skull bash resets the cooldown on tigers fury

Berserk gives you +50 max energy, so you go from 100 to 150 max energy, but stay at 100 energy when you use it. With this in mind, why does your burst macro have tiger's fury, which gives 60 energy, BEFORE berserk?

Hi, first of all, gr8 vid dude! i just reached lvl 100 with my druid and now im not sure if i should play feral or boomy. Im at both specs experienced but the only question i would love to get answered is the thing with my energy. So i know i do good dmg with feral but it happens so often that im out of energy and it feels so shit to stay there and doing nearly nothing for a couple of seconds until tiger furys up again. So my question is how do u manage ur energy? After ur first use of tigers fury, ur going to be energyless for a while.. i feel so useless this time.
Mc Maric With feral at the moment, our energy regen is bad. The playstyle is not to spam buttons but to pool up energy to do short bursts every now and then. Hope this helps :).

Sorry, I'm new to WoW and didn't properly understand a few words that were key. When you were explaining the macro (one shot) you later in rotations mentioned the burst macro. Is this a separate macro or the (one shot) macro? You also mentioned to make sure your "onious" (not sure what you said) trinket is in the top trinket slot. Also in rotations when you mentioned the full rotations you said "Shred>Rip>Shred>Shred>Shred>Rake>(couldn't understand. sounded like "pliyed by hands". Could you please tell me the words and what the "burst macro" is. Thanks.
