Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but I thought that the addon you said was "GladiatorLosSA" is actually Gladius, and that GladiatorLosSA was simply voice signals when abilities were used... Maybe I'm wrong though :D Also, you can use [@player] for targeting yourself on your macros, instead of typing in your name :3 Thanks for the guide and keep up the great work! Also, my friend (who usually plays Hunter), now has a 100 DK. Any tips on Ebola Cleave (coming from a jungle cleave player)? P.S. I believe it is actually "WeakAuras2" as well, just for people trying to find these addons.
thePanthurr1337 I think you might be able to use @player:). As for playing Ebola Cleave, if you watch my Kitty Cleave guide it is quite relevant except you can go a little defensive as DKs can take on healers by themselves haha.

Great video,very informative ! I had a 90 tauren drood that I was tired of playing and leveled it up to 100 and started PvP after watching this! ^^ Apart from being a bit squishy,burst is just amazing.Berserk + Fury + Jungle = target dead in 10 secs.

Hey there, good guide. I just think you may have got the stats part wrong. Thinking of a pure damage perspective, mastery is our second best stat in PVP, because multistrike effectiveness is reduced. Versatility is also great, since it scales well with our other stats, crit is king because we need combo points. The way I geared was: avoid haste > go for versatility were I could get it > rest. I enchanted versatility and am using 2 pieces bonus. As gear is scaling and changes are coming, it seems that most top ranked druids are focusing on: crit > mastery > versatility > multi strike > haste. They are enchanting versatility and going for 4 pieces bonus.
BananaRaccoon - Feral Druid PvP This is right for PVE, not for PVP. Multi strike effect is reduced on PVP, hence you can't use the same stat weights. This makes mastery a lot better for single target damage, also, both mastery and versatility scales better than multi strike. Check the top druids armory, they are focusing mastery, 4 pieces and versatility.
I haven't started threes yet, so I don't know much about the comps. Is their anyway you could cover threes comps you may encounter and how to counter them. Also, what comp do you run?

@jeff k The reason it's that way is just due to how to gear works. Feral gear just give you loads of mastery, it has nothing to do with dampening as no feral will want to go into dampening.

Matt Miller 1. Stay on the target but throw off-heals out, rebuff and apply Faerie Fire if you need to during your free globals. 2. FMP, Jungle Cleave, FPS, Kitty Cleave are all viable. I've made a guide on how Kitty Cleave works, it's on my channel and I am slowly getting around to the others. As I haven't played much 3s in 6.1, I haven't learned the playstyle of each comp this patch. As soon as I have, I will be making guides :).
Good guide. Was looking for a macro. I main a horde rogue. Leveling a nelf druid and I want to make a prowl out of combat, shadow mild in combat macro. Keep up the good work, will be watching!
One thing I don't understand is that currently, top Ferals are going for as much Versatility as possible. If you look at Talason @ Tichondrius (Prideful Glad Feral and currently highest ranked 3v3 Feral) you'll see that he prioritizes Versatility > Mastery > Crit. And almost every top rated Feral I see also gears this way or in a similar way. However, I feel that my damage as a Feral is quite weak when I am not Critting. To me, Crit seems like the most important stat by far mainly due to the fact that you gain 2 Combo points on a Crit with Shred or Rake, and that your Crit is doubled with Ferocious Bite (and Shred while Bursting) making it twice as effective. The only reason I can think of for this is that when Dampening stacks high, it may be better to have stronger bleeds. What are your thoughts on this?

+Harrison Nash I see why you think it's better, but Glyph of Savage Roar is a LOT better. Yeah, you get the passive from savagery, but you also do 10% less damage which really sucks. It's easy to get savage roar going since you tend to engage with prowl on, and using rake for the stun. That gives the savage roar for a long time and if you're planning on hardcore bursting (which is what I normally do) then the fight won't last that long if it goes well. If it goes badly? Then both classes will be able to sustain well, you need to keep out of sight so you can leave combat and use prowl, then re-engage. Savagery is decent, but savage roar is so easy to get since you get it at your opener, which is why it's better.
Neil Evans I really wish I could answer that question but for some reason people who have installed Tidyplates lately have been having issues. I even had issues with it when I installed it on the US realms (I usually play EU). I'm not really sure how to change it anymore as it's seems to be really messed up at the moment. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.

Hey man. Great videos. It helped me a lot cause I'm new to feral. I have some questions. Most of the times I'd like to play arena I'd prefer Dream of Cenarius over Nature's Vigil cause first of all its passive and boosts healing touch and as you know with the Predatory Swiftness healing touch becomes instant however at the top of ladder board most of the users get Nature'a Vigil so I'm little confused. Another question is Entangling Roots. Of course its all situational but every class can break root effects somehow and its hard to cast and it doesnt help us for against ranges so I dont find this spell usefull much in arenas. Waste of valuable secs. What do you think. And last it would be great if you use an addon that shows your spells (names) on the screen. It would be brilliant and we can learn much more from you an awesome feral
Çağlar Oral Nature's Vigil is better because it gives us some passive burst healing every now and then. Never cast Entangling Roots, use your PS procs for roots :). What addon does that? :).
you should do a guide showing which pieces of gear you think is best, like if you use the wryns vanguard gear you should mention what pieces you use from them
Hey man quick question why do you not want to use glyph of savagery? Wouldn't you have more combo points to dump on an actual move such as fb or rip? Or is the 10% decrease in damage that huge.

nisse1985 The four piece set is definitely worth it. People might only be going with the 2 set because they might have got their pieces from RBGs or it could be because the armory is still really buggy.

hey, I've been looking at a few armories of ferals that are around 2k or higher in 3v3. I've noticed that they all stack versatility instead of crit. Personally I've always liked crit but it seems like unless you really have a high chance it's pretty rng. Is versatility better if you don't want to risk it?
Smefs I'd stack versatility if I were you. You can go with crit but I'd say versatility is better. When I used to play at high ratings before I found I'd rather play with friends at low ratings than with strangers at 2600+ I was stacking versatility :).
Hi, What is the addon called that shows the hp of your party members big up in the left corner? I am having problems with teams that save burst and switch targets in a good way. With those addons I tend to not look very much at their portrait and therefor I don´t see who is being targeted. How do you do this? Do you maily look at portraits and only have the tidyplate dots as "extra help" or do you understand who they are targeting in some other way? Where do you look to keep track of what they are casting. On Gladius, Portrait or tidyplates? Thanks a lot :)

BananaRaccoon - Feral Druid PvP I been looking at tutorials for both Gladius and Gladiatorlossa but it is all about the enemy. The frame you have on the left side where you can easily see your members health and what effects they have on them is that really Gladiatorlossa? I can only see that it gives sound options. Feral has been my main since WotLK (was balance in Vanilla and TBC). In this expansions I really didn't like what they did to ferals. New cosmetic model is very horrible but way too good not to take. Also playstyle was made so much more simple and I really did love more challenging playstyle. So in this expansions I went back to balance. It is great. I really hope that Legion will change feral more back to old playstyle and that new artifacts allow us to get rid of horrible new model of "must have" pvp talent.
joe andrade I wouldn't say ferals are really worth bringing for any high-rated RBG teams. When I do do RBGs, I generally use the same talents, occasionally swapping out Bash for Vortex.
Hey banana, i have been playing feral quiet a while now and ur videos have helped me so much that i can see my rating jump constantly however i have huge problems against discpriests in general...i feel like i cant get through the absorbs? clayton dixon It is hard to stay on a hunter because of their constant slows. Make sure you use Wild Charge when they disengage and use Skull Bash on cooldown, it's all I can suggest really.
How do you deal with low energy when trying to build up combo points? I constantly find myself not able to get 5 combo points out as quickly as I would like to in my opener/when I'm bursting. Any suggestions as to how I can manage my energy?

Grandpa Solder Gift is better than renewal, I wouldn't recommend renewal due to it's cooldown. Nature's Vigil is amazing, if I use it when bursting I lose no health due to the amount it heals.
BananaRaccoon - Feral Druid PvP another question, in arenas my tidy plates keep tuning off and when they go off its almost always a lose because i cant keep up with what im hitting... what do you do to fix or change this
I'm sorry but I've never heard of this. Are you pressing Shift-V, Ctrl-V or Alt-V during arena? If not changed in the keybinding option, it will turn off nameplates.
Your 3 shred opener doesn't work with me. I hit a practice dummy from stealth and was only able to do 2 shreds before Tiger's Fury. Am I suppose to be in berserk before I open?

i believe snapshotting was taken out with the release of wod was it not? it should only increase the damage while the effects are active and dont need to be refreshed Example: rip ticks for 10k without savage roar same rip you then use savage roar now hits for 14k
Thanks for the videos dude, but I'm having a problem with my feral. I don't spam my skills, but I'm always energy starved. I've tested it on friends where I just put my bleeds up and sit there to see how fast my energy regen is.. It's disgusting tbh.. I'm not high rated, but nearly decked in full conquest gear :(
MortoMente To be honest, feral energy regen is terrible. Later on in the expansion, our energy will regenerate faster with gear but at the moment, we're a very slow class.
I now watched like 31203123 vidoes about feral druids, and still got problems surviving.. i tried with mostly all talents :3 always pops my "Survial instencts" "Rejuvenation" and if im playing "Cenarion Ward" that one aswell.. "Nature's Vigil" / "Heart of the Wild" :3 using all my instant healing touchs.. but im still dieing in seconds.. :( what do i do wrong? - alrdy wacthed ur video about surving aswell :S - Regards, JhesatTheDruid
why not glyph of savagery, you get 30% at all times instead of having to either waste combo points or time to get out of combat to stealth without interruption? other than that, will gear affect how how/cw work, because it seems at below 620 doc/cw or renewal saves my ass more

Hey man. Great videos. It helped me a lot cause I'm new to feral. I have some questions. Most of the times I'd like to play arena I'd prefer Dream of Cenarius over Nature's Vigil cause first of all its passive and boosts healing touch and as you know with the Predatory Swiftness healing touch becomes instant however at the top of ladder board most of the users get Nature'a Vigil so I'm little confused. Another question is Entangling Roots. Of course its all situational but every class can break root effects somehow and its hard to cast and it doesnt help us for against ranges so I dont find this spell usefull much in arenas. Waste of valuable secs. What do you think. And last it would be great if you use an addon that shows your spells (names) on the screen. It would be brilliant and we can learn much more from you an awesome feral
Çağlar Oral Nature's Vigil is better because it gives us some passive burst healing every now and then. Never cast Entangling Roots, use your PS procs for roots :).
What addon does that? :).
you should do a guide showing which pieces of gear you think is best, like if you use the wryns vanguard gear you should mention what pieces you use from them

Hey man quick question why do you not want to use glyph of savagery? Wouldn't you have more combo points to dump on an actual move such as fb or rip? Or is the 10% decrease in damage that huge.

Sanathas Typhoon is a cone effect so you don't target but I do use a focus bash and swap manually for the others. The macro is in this video :).

nisse1985 The four piece set is definitely worth it. People might only be going with the 2 set because they might have got their pieces from RBGs or it could be because the armory is still really buggy.

hey, I've been looking at a few armories of ferals that are around 2k or higher in 3v3. I've noticed that they all stack versatility instead of crit. Personally I've always liked crit but it seems like unless you really have a high chance it's pretty rng. Is versatility better if you don't want to risk it?
Smefs I'd stack versatility if I were you. You can go with crit but I'd say versatility is better. When I used to play at high ratings before I found I'd rather play with friends at low ratings than with strangers at 2600+ I was stacking versatility :).
Quick question, what about the glyph of savagery? 30% perma dmg buff and 5 extra combo points...?

What is the addon called that shows the hp of your party members big up in the left corner?
I am having problems with teams that save burst and switch targets in a good way. With those addons I tend to not look very much at their portrait and therefor I don´t see who is being targeted. How do you do this? Do you maily look at portraits and only have the tidyplate dots as "extra help" or do you understand who they are targeting in some other way?
Where do you look to keep track of what they are casting. On Gladius, Portrait or tidyplates?

BananaRaccoon - Feral Druid PvP I been looking at tutorials for both Gladius and Gladiatorlossa but it is all about the enemy. The frame you have on the left side where you can easily see your members health and what effects they have on them is that really Gladiatorlossa? I can only see that it gives sound options.

RamblesTV Snapshotting is dynamic except for feral abilities like Savage Roar, Tiger's Fury and Bloodtalons. These still snapshot like they used to.
Feral has been my main since WotLK (was balance in Vanilla and TBC). In this expansions I really didn't like what they did to ferals. New cosmetic model is very horrible but way too good not to take. Also playstyle was made so much more simple and I really did love more challenging playstyle.
So in this expansions I went back to balance. It is great. I really hope that Legion will change feral more back to old playstyle and that new artifacts allow us to get rid of horrible new model of "must have" pvp talent.
Bruns I hope Legion will return us to the old playstyle, as well :).
Would you use the same talents in a rbg? Or are ferals not worth bringing?
joe andrade I wouldn't say ferals are really worth bringing for any high-rated RBG teams. When I do do RBGs, I generally use the same talents, occasionally swapping out Bash for Vortex.

Fsbr21 It's hard to do on your own, you need someone to be despelling the shields and make sure you kick the casts.

How do you fight hunters? i just feel like I am getting infinitely slowed and kited. It is very frustrating.
clayton dixon It is hard to stay on a hunter because of their constant slows. Make sure you use Wild Charge when they disengage and use Skull Bash on cooldown, it's all I can suggest really.
How do you deal with low energy when trying to build up combo points? I constantly find myself not able to get 5 combo points out as quickly as I would like to in my opener/when I'm bursting. Any suggestions as to how I can manage my energy?
Ched Chigurupati The only thing I can suggest is to not spam buttons. Take your time and pool energy - feral isn't as spammy as monk and rogue.
You have low crit perhaps? Crits generate 2 combo points which can make an insane difference especially when bursting.
And that is a possibility. Gear comes in to account, of course.

Grandpa Solder Gift is better than renewal, I wouldn't recommend renewal due to it's cooldown. Nature's Vigil is amazing, if I use it when bursting I lose no health due to the amount it heals.

I'm sorry but I've never heard of this. Are you pressing Shift-V, Ctrl-V or Alt-V during arena? If not changed in the keybinding option, it will turn off nameplates.

Leland You'll be ok until you get at higher ratings, I'd recommend replacing the pieces when you can though :).
Your 3 shred opener doesn't work with me. I hit a practice dummy from stealth and was only able to do 2 shreds before Tiger's Fury. Am I suppose to be in berserk before I open?
phuckerpower No, you don't want to Berserk in your opener, save Berserk for Incarnation. It's probably a gear thing that's giving you trouble.

Thanks for the videos dude, but I'm having a problem with my feral. I don't spam my skills, but I'm always energy starved. I've tested it on friends where I just put my bleeds up and sit there to see how fast my energy regen is.. It's disgusting tbh.. I'm not high rated, but nearly decked in full conquest gear :(
MortoMente To be honest, feral energy regen is terrible. Later on in the expansion, our energy will regenerate faster with gear but at the moment, we're a very slow class.

I now watched like 31203123 vidoes about feral druids, and still got problems surviving.. i tried with mostly all talents :3 always pops my "Survial instencts" "Rejuvenation" and if im playing "Cenarion Ward" that one aswell.. "Nature's Vigil" / "Heart of the Wild" :3 using all my instant healing touchs.. but im still dieing in seconds.. :( what do i do wrong?

why not glyph of savagery, you get 30% at all times instead of having to either waste combo points or time to get out of combat to stealth without interruption? other than that, will gear affect how how/cw work, because it seems at below 620 doc/cw or renewal saves my ass more
Snipesmcfinigan Gear does affect how the healing works. I would recommend not taking the Glyph of Savagery if you want to do it optimum damage.
