For example, I’d like to see a full telling of the Odyssey storyline. Since no one else out there has done this well or in detail yet, you could do several videos on this alone; story as a whole, one video on each individual character (talk about “The First” and how his name is a literal key secret to the story), how the mechanics play into the storytelling “graveyard matters” theme for the first time, etc. There’s plenty of content right up your alley that is more relevant to the game while still giving room for your presentation and creativity.
The fact that you ranked Gonti highly and disqualified Yahenni is a travesty. Yahenni is a party animal yes, but can have a nice meaningful conversation and their pov was the best part of the kaladesh story.
thats probably because Yahenni has a too short lifetime. When Yahenni was born from the aether in Kaladesh yahenni got like 4 years of living, thats what you would get max from the friendship, IF she didnt drain living beings to get only about 6-10 days, killing them and causing extrodinairy pain to Yahenni and the 'victim' and they wouldnt really do it because their death is so 'important' to their life. Yes, Gonti is an aetherborn but he has an aether heart wich will make him last at least longer then Yahenni without killing living beings And would, probably, be doing crime rather than die.

Y'know, I almost objected at Jazal Goldmane, but the problem there is that he'd just be the friend who you like.... but you always want to hang out with his brother instead, and constantly has stories about how cool he is. Which, is great at first but then you just kind of feel bad when you hang out and you aren't sure if it's a good thing to ask if Ajani's in or not as one of the first things you ask. It's not like he's a bad guy, it's just that Ajani has the best stories and it's hard to compete with him on that front. That and he's one of those people who would put way too much stock in horoscopes. Gets a bit irritating that.

While there are various categorization things I would have done differently (like probably putting the “we know literally nothing about this character” way way earlier in the list and would argue that “bad hugs” doesn’t necessarily make for a bad friend, I can appreciate the effort that went into it, though it does kinda boil down to “who is normal enough/close enough to a normal human to actually relate to.”

I think you are woefully underestimating the friendability of Cromium. Dude is a traveler, a trickster, a friend to all and has some crazy interesting facts to share. Plus, he's one of the only characters who you can both ride to work on and also invite inside to watch TV with. 10/10 would get matching friendship tattoos.
Tuknir Deathlock is a pretty metal name. Also, looking at his card, he sounds like a fun guy to go on adventures with. He can take you to unusual places in the aether, and he's always got your back (if you have RG available).

I've always wanted a dragon friend but it would be nice to have one that you didn't have to hide all the time soooo... Chromium Rhuell. Elder dragons likely have lots of good stories and he has a history of both befriending and protecting humans as well as a number of long relationships. The unblockability and shapeshifting seem very fun and he can be a human on command so he can do regular humanoid things.

While there are various categorization things I would have done differently (like probably putting the “we know literally nothing about this character” way way earlier in the list and would argue that “bad hugs” doesn’t necessarily make for a bad friend, I can appreciate the effort that went into it, though it does kinda boil down to “who is normal enough/close enough to a normal human to actually relate to.”

I ask because I only play cEDH and I'm currently exploring combo-less brews. A full stax / control build looks like she'll have resiliency and inevitability while operating on an axis that other cEDH decks struggle to answer.
@@Ceracio Awesome! She looks even harder to answer in cEDH. Most decks run 0-2 board wipes and very little creature removal. And her ninjutsu won't be countered.

I think you are woefully underestimating the friendability of Cromium. Dude is a traveler, a trickster, a friend to all and has some crazy interesting facts to share. Plus, he's one of the only characters who you can both ride to work on and also invite inside to watch TV with. 10/10 would get matching friendship tattoos.

I've always wanted a dragon friend but it would be nice to have one that you didn't have to hide all the time soooo... Chromium Rhuell. Elder dragons likely have lots of good stories and he has a history of both befriending and protecting humans as well as a number of long relationships. The unblockability and shapeshifting seem very fun and he can be a human on command so he can do regular humanoid things.
Realizing my favorite Magic character - Vannifar would probably be a bad friend, because she keeps stealing my pets and fusing them together
