Back with another trip out on the Peak Forest railway, this time on a short service between Buxton and Chinley in the BR 101 in it's early green livery. Today we will be calling at Peak Forest, Chapel-en-le-Frith, and Chinley.

I had fun running this one. The combination of the great scenery, relaxing trip, and great looking 101 from Creators Club, made for a very happy trip. Hope you all enjoy it.
This is a nice livery for the 101, I have it myself for running this train on the WSR as I believe they actually have a similar one in their collection irl. Loving the Peak Forest route so far, very well made and enjoying learning the finesse with driving the steam trains.
I could be wrong but I think this might be the first time I have seen the 101 in another livery?
Not sure.
Either way, I love it.
That 101 in the BR Green looks gorgeous. I have the 101 as part of the North Pennine route. Must admit the 101 is fun to drive but really trying to brake and look where you're going isn't easy because on the Steamdeck there's nothing configured for the brake in a DMU because the camera pans right when you press A to operate the brakes.
Oh yeah if you have to use the actual controls in the cab I imagine it is extremely difficult to do.
