Been going to South Haven for nearly 20 years and only discovered Pilgrims Haven about 5 years ago. I find the rocks are too big and ankle breakers to walk over! But I love the fossils!
Yes, the rocks at Pilgrim Haven are so numerous and so large the beach seems more like a Lake Superior beach than a Lake Michigan beach.
That makes me want to go down to the beach on a nice fresh Scottish winter day and walk for miles looking for nice rocks (even though I end up with way too many 😂)

16:25 was a pretty stripped one. But so was the one you thought your wife would love but the one you picked is the biggest with more strips. Great pick and the geode, lol

It is partly out of necessity. We sold our house several weeks ago and we are staying at relatives for a couple more weeks. I need to limit my rocks.
