Thanks be that the algorithm brought me here.
Most excellent Ale !!!
Stupendous! 😊
Once again here's a piece of Scandinavian traditional music with a pleasing combination of energy and dignity.
Love this Ale!
I can't get enough of this, it is SO good!
A year later and I still absolutely love this track.
Sounds very nice! Wanted to say: oh, I've heard Ale Carr playing this melody! than realised that you are the composer.
j'ai eu la chance de le voir à Edimbourg - the usher hall - en début d'année....superbe concert et très belle présence !
Ale Carr, how do you tune your cittern for this piece? Say the 5 courses low to high ---open strings? It's wonderful!
Hey! It's my trusty old DGDAD, quite flexible tuning while being open enough to feel free 🙂
Brilliant thank you.
Beautifully played.
Very, very nice!
Beautiful song, is the Cittern tunes the same as the irish bouzuki and where would I be able to find one? Best regards
Perfekt

Mesmerising. Just goes to show that folk are folk ALL over the world. It all sounds so Celtic. Fantastic piece!
This is so good! What a sweet tone too, does anyone know who made this instrument?
Thanks! Made by the Swedish luthier Christer Ådin 👍
the second tune is really cool, going to learn that one

@@StrongestFiddler oh thanks!
You know how words fail right?
I think papa ale is great
Does anyone know which tuning is used?
DGDAD
Good work, son...
How is it tuned?
I could be wrong but I think it's DGDAD. Similar to an Irish bouzouki.
That's what he himself has said that he tuned in several other videos.
Great production ! Any idea on what microphone was used for such a good sound from Ale ? Thanks !
I'm not totally sure but I believe they are Royer ribbon mics.
That is a Royer, probably a 121, ribbon mic. Those are lovely instruments, very true.
För Tjusa.....
