How To Replace A Honda CR-V Rear Wiper Blade-Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to replace a Honda CR-V rear wiper blade. It is a really easy process and you don't even need any tools to do it. Once you have learned how to replace the rear windshield wiper blade, you'll be able to do it in a quick minute. It basically involves a twisting and pulling action to remove it, and the exact opposite process to put the new rear wiper blade onto the Honda CR-V.

Don't forget to protect the window from the spring loaded arm CRASHING into and cracking the window. Expensive repair and easy to prevent. I use a folded bath towel or throw rug. You won't regret it.

Gratitude. May I add that Goodyear Assurance Weather Ready rear wiper model 730-14B has two small nubs that slide into the smaller grooves below the larger opening where the horizontal bar on the wiper pops in. (CR-V 2011) Your intro even introduced a bit of mystery! 😃

I used to do that, but it seems the brick-and-mortar stores no longer offer them. Now you must purchase the entire assembly.
Still, I looked at my CRV and the assembly is made differently such that it can't be easily removed. Personally not worth my time.

I replace my blades regularly but these rear blades are very flimsy. If I lived in Labrador, I'd be replacing them 2 or 3 ties in winter. I'm thinking the ones I have changed here in my new town have less than an hour of use.

The only critical part of the design is the attachment point, and many non-OEM blades will attach to the CRV wiper arm OK.
