Apparently she has a history of either making up stories on stage which isn't the worst thing but also saying this is the first time she's telling this story/doing it spur of the moment. In the old days you could get away with that on tour but no with everyone filming and talking o social media it becomes very obvious and comes across as fake
My issue with it wasnt that it was fake (im pretty sure everyone added/changed things in their stories to make it more entertaining so who cares as long as it works) but because it felt so very rehearsed it took the "oooh" factor.
Bob has such great chemistry with anyone she does videos with. Says a lot about her personality! Thorgy is hysterical too, she needs a podcast ASAP

You can technically say whatever you want on Pitstop and whatnot but at the end of the day the producers are going to tell them to say certain things, spin certain narratives and they'll just cut out footage they don't want being said.
If Trixie was doing a recap show like this that wasn't affiliated with the actual show, it'd also be way more real and honest. Likewise if Bob ever went back to the Pitstop, they'd get censored or "nice edited" too.

Silky was so gracious. She looked sad at first when Eureka was declared the winner but realised in that moment her episode would make Drag Race Herstory. Getting back into the competition wasn’t as important when you have your own entire episode to turn things around. 😍

They're going to the same party, they have the same dealer, and yet they still haven't quite met.
I want Ra'jah to win for the simple reason that she went from being very disliked and having a terrible edit in her season, to the point where no one was happy to see her in AS6, to being one of the most liked, most improved queens ever to be in AS. I would also be very happy to see Kylie win considering she was never a favorite in her season, she went home very early and has now done an incredible job, not just keeping up with the newer queens but excelling every episode.
To me Ginger and Eureka are stars already, this is their 3rd time being on Drag Race and they have always been good at it. For once I would like to see improvement being celebrated and crowned and not this "she should have won her season so lets give her a crown now" narrative we have seen every time in All Stars.
I wholeheartedly agree with this. All stars should be about how much you’ve grown since your season.

I went to a Ginger Minj one-woman show at the end she takes her bow and comes back for an encore. She basically explains to us how she loves The Little Mermaid and how she related to Ursula and when she heard they were in the talks to make a live action Little Mermaid she wanted to perform Poor Unfortunate Soul just for us. She said to us that this was the first time doing it in front of an audience and for us to film it as her audition tape. Well come to find out she did the same number and story after all her tour dates so yea I call bullshit on her story.

Her dad walks in and just shakes his head in disappointment. Ginger later at dinner is told that her mother needs to speak with her about her attitude. When they step in the other room ginger’s mom gives her a pair of ruby red chunky heels of her own.

She mentioned a few episodes back that she's in a different headspace when she's in a competition like drag race. That she overthinks a lot, which showed in S8. Her "hating" on Bob was just fun banter cuz they're close friends but the editing made her look like she was always hating on Bob. I am happy tho that these recaps are allowing her to shine and just be her!

Ginger started with her fake tears when Pearl's picture popped up, and someone in the comment section even said "If those aren't some fake a** tears, she's so phony!")on AS2 it was as if she was trying to force a bff out of Katya, and she told Katya that she was going to forfeit her spot if Katya got chosen to go home and I would've loved to see if she was gonna go thru with it" Even on AS6, there was the death glares she gave to Kylie and Scarlet because she didn't get her own way, how she always had to take the piss out of another queen being happy that they won a challenge and bring up a mistake, when nobody did that to her. She claimed half the damn cast was friends of hers but help send all her "bffs)" home even when they didn't need her vote to send a girl home? Thorgy and Tia need to do purse first impressions: UK edition with Mitch. There’s clearly electricity in the air with this idea and it’s got really long legs. Run with it! Do a weekly review of season three with little intermittent check ups on Bob because fans are going to be obviously wondering. I can’t think of a better group to lead the helm 😌
30:00 Pretty sure the curling iron was some sort of vape/smoke machine made up to look like an iron: you can see water bubbling in it in one shot. It's amazingly well hidden, though, and not something I've ever seen done.

I thought it was cool that she included her in the intro, it’s probably not like she had to. She seems really generous with other drag queens, Silky most recently. She often uses her notoriety to help other girls gain exposure. I have an old man crush on Bob.
I didn’t realise at first but I’m glad they actually included her in the intro!! That was a nice touch, because they easily could’ve just kept it as Bob (there was no reason to, and they didn’t have to, to be fair)

@@DaCotaMonteiro not everyone on set is constantly working while filming. They may not have the normal extraneous amount of crew as usual due to the current times, but there are a few extra bodies. However, the small number of people who would potentially be available to sit in the audience could be too small to simulate enough noise for responses. The aneimic sound could be worse than just hearing the reaction of the judges alone. Just a guess.

You also can’t just have crew do things on camera without a lot of planning, negotiation, and extra work. I know that seems easy to just grab extra bodies but it really doesn’t work like that on a set. I’m sure they’re already working with a skeleton crew anyway. But yes - they really should have an audience if they’re gonna have challenges like this! (I kind of hated this challenge lol)
