@@silentsaturn7604 and in dela's case, she also clearly cares about the behind-the-scenes aspects of performances as well. most other queens are used to showing up and lipsyncing their sets, but since dela self-produces her own shows, i can see why it would be difficult for her to put her show in someone else's hands. may be annoying for others, but makes no sacrifices where end product is concerned.
I hate that the judges said the category was "beast COUTURE" and then got mad bc Utica was serving couture.

Is it possible that the REAL reason Ben voted herself out was because she calculated that if she won the competition even though the prize money she would still be bound to a monstrous contract with Rupaul for the rest of her life while if she just quit she would do so financially very well and be independent?
Spot on. There's a great interview with her by Joseph Shepherd about All Stars 3 and she essentially says she'd had enough of production and wanted to be in charge of her own destiny.

Most of this episode was just Trixie and Dela painfully recalling their All Stars trauma. 🤣 That season really did a number on them.
And *shockingly* that season had only 8 episodes. S12 is gonna have 16 episodes total

I just want to remind people that statistically, BenDeLaCreme is the most successful contestant score-wise in RPDR herstory. This is just another reminder for me. Her expressions, outfits ~ Michelle was right, she really does know her body so well.
I mean, she was in the top 4 times consecutively in AS3, she is the only queen who won the Snatch Game twice, and she's one of three Miss Congenialities who won multiples challenges in her season (The other two are Latrice and Nina West)

At this point I feel bad for Kandy, every week she keeps floundering and the fan base is vile but it’s a let down every week
I mean she creates drama so she's kept around. Which I kinda feel is hurting her. Like look at Silky, if she went home like episode 2 or so like she deserved too it would've been fine. But she was kept around for drama, which just made people dislike her and her horrible attitude more and more each week. Then her staying over superior queens makes even more people dislike her. So she goes from just another annoying queen, to one of the most hated queens. Over stayed her welcome and then some...
I mean I feel bad for Kandy if she's being harassed but it's the producers fault for painting a target on her forehead.

This season honestly has been one of the driest seasons yet. But the girls are beyond polished, and think that maybe a contributing factor. They are looking like they are on ALL star level... but the cast storylines and personalities have been great. But the challenges have been dry
@@Coupeboyy The queen's aren't the issue, it's that there is no narrative. The best drag race seasons tell a good story e.g. Jynx rising from underdog to winner, Bianca being an ice queen that slowly melts, new drag vs old school drag with Sharon etc. There is no arc to follow this season. The queen's are just there. The whole effort for keeping Kandy in for drama and then there isn't even any drama. If she would have gone home instead of doing the double shantay , what would be different? Nothing, she doesn't add anything, she's just safe and mouthes off from time to time. this season is just slowly, very slowly limping towards the finish line so Symone can be crowned the winner, which might be deserved but it doesn't make for good TV if there are no obsticales to overcome or any sort of character growth along the way.
