It was a music video tho , there were transitions and edits done by producers to achieve that effect . You can see this is true because each performer has the stage set up for them by the end of the previous persons set which would have taken them a while.

RuPaul asking Lady if she overcomes the darkness of the past bugged me this episode. It felt like a very generic question and a bit sound deaf. You don't overcome the suicide of a siblings. It's the kind of tragedy who lives with you forever, you can learn to live with it, but to me it's not something you have to "overcome" like a problem or an obstacle. Maybe I'm too picky Other thing who bugged me was the "what I like with you Willow, is that you don't make your disability an excuse". That sentence is often criticized for pushing people with illness and disability to not ask for the help they deserve to have and keep suffering in silence.
It's super ableist to reinforce that we don't need to be reminded of someone's disability, that it is at someone else's expense if you dare ask for help or take care of yourself properly. Ru is all about loving yourself, but heavily pushes queens to tear themselves apart because it's cutthroat.
Absolutely agree w you on that second point, esp w moments earlier in the season like Willow not being able to get the boxes open. Needing accomodations isn't an 'excuse'!

RuPaul asking Lady if she overcomes the darkness of the past bugged me this episode. It felt like a very generic question and a bit sound deaf. You don't overcome the suicide of a siblings. It's the kind of tragedy who lives with you forever, you can learn to live with it, but to me it's not something you have to "overcome" like a problem or an obstacle. Maybe I'm too picky
Other thing who bugged me was the "what I like with you Willow, is that you don't make your disability an excuse". That sentence is often criticized for pushing people with illness and disability to not ask for the help they deserve to have and keep suffering in silence.

It's super ableist to reinforce that we don't need to be reminded of someone's disability, that it is at someone else's expense if you dare ask for help or take care of yourself properly. Ru is all about loving yourself, but heavily pushes queens to tear themselves apart because it's cutthroat.
