@@impatxent All the movement makes sound, just to varying degrees. Crouch walking is quiet, but not silent, people close by can still hear it. You can be silent by not moving, but you've got to move at some point. Otherwise sitting in a bush the whole game is not a great way to play.
Great video. Even with 300 hours I'm learning new small details. My Tip 101: Watch Rexnor before jumping in to matches for a false sense of confidence and die without seeing another hunter.
Tip 101: For bolt action weapons, you can perform a partial reload by holding down the shoot button after firing. This allows you to save bullets without the use of the bulletgruber trait. Alternatively you can hold down the reload button after firing to also trigger the partial reload.
No amount of tips can help me. One day I'm a Bayou God and I clear servers by myself whole day. The next day I can't hit a stationary Meathead with a shotgun at point blank. Mostly its the last scenario.

Very comprehensive List, but there are two things I think are different: 16:38 you only need one Alert Trip Mine to set an downed Hunter on fire. 20:59 I thought the Fire Beetle is the slowest of the three
Some of this is a lil outdated (like necro) but man some of these tips have changed the game for me! I'm 5-6* on average (console) and didn't know half of these lol.
I've got about 60 hours in the game playing on and off since release and found out on the first day of 1896 that you can indeed drop to 1 star MMR 😅 Not giving up though, my last round of the night playing solo vs duos i got 3 kills and a boss kill/banish/extract and made it back to 2 stars lmao.
I'm a solo-necro scrub. seems pretty daunting now to max out a character with the necro rework. I have 200 hours and I struggle maintaining a 3 star rank. Kinda need that crutch to max out a character.
I heard that the trial mode will be gone for the august 15 update. I wonder if there's any equivalent mode that they will add. If so it will be so useful for new players like myself to explore the maps and examine the structure of boss layers.
Wait so the weapon switch key (Q by default) makes it switch faster than using fixed keys, e.g. 1 & 2, to switch between primary and secondary? No way I wasn't aware of that for 2000h of Hunt. :D

If you're trying to add someone on a different platform then it won't work. The game has cross play but no cross invite which is stupid but if it's same platform inviting try restarting or having them invite you
Hey Rex, I have a serious question maybe you can help me with. I was playing snipers with a buddy and it came down to an extraction fight, literally the last seconds of the game. I pushed into the extraction zone right as the timer went off, but I didn't lose my character. Does that mean that at that very second, the enemies moved out of the extraction zone enabling me to make use of that one second to get out with my hunter?
What do I do if the clue starts glowing green? JK, best advice in the game is to have fun, watch the whole video for important info on how to get there though. Happy hunting

I’ve played the tutorial twice in the shooting range but cannot load in to multiplayer all my other games. Do not have a problem with online so it’s not my router or Internet any suggestions, it’s too late for a refund

What I do with friends that are new is, take them into training and get their buttons setup, learn movement, learn a few beginner guns..ie ttk, cyclic rate(very important), and damage. Then I'll make them learn a choke and dynamite. Hunt will feel extremely slow gun fights as a new player... And then frustration running into a crown and King lol.
@@CarlitoJr408 understood and from what you're saying and time with my friends I'm not sure how qualified they are for that XD I've noticed them rage and be angry way to much for my liking and makes me not be able to concentrate well, I'm definitely slowly improving and losing doesn't hurt as bad as before, doesn't help I'm somewhat of an introvert and don't wanna play with randoms so I'm either solo or with them, wish there were a better place to just train hitting my stuff and all instead of going into a round and losing and being way to slow and afraid of walking around and being picked off by afar

Cheap load out and this allows you to concentrate on gunfights. As you get better, add a dynamite etc...
This is a terrible design. Stay in dark sight , sometimes it gets louder , ya right. It should make the sound of its in the general direction , I’m running around the whole map only to find that someone else found it on the opposite side of the map Game is annoying
Hold on bro choke bettle the slowest? Dude choke beetle is the exact same speed as stalker. The fire beetle is the only one thats slower than a hunter running.

You can not burn bodies in water with liquid fire bombs 🤷
Did you mention that you shouldn’t use piercing damage on immolators (the burny boys). Using blunt damage on them will prevent them exploding.

Afaik if you are at the extraction zone when the time runs out you keep your hunter 👍

Quite likely they just extracted right before you did if you didn't see any "extract blocked" message

Yea you can. It takes 1 hit with long ammo up to 40m and 20 meters with compact & medium. Otherwise it’s 2 hits afaik 👍

@@QfngB There is only one weapon called Uppercut. Caldwell is the name of the weapon manufacturer. Caldwell rival, caldwell conversion etc.

You lose your hunter if you’re not on extract when the time runs out. If you didn’t you had death cheat or it’s a bug 🤷

You could argue anything could change at any time. I’m introducing concepts and information and the menus are sometimes the best way to do that 🤷
