The point of the military statement was about the pride people had for the country and flag and the lengths in which people would go to for that pride and not necessarily what the war was about and the reason they went to war, vs not doing anything and just making memes. It was a basic statement of value of this country and its freedoms and rights, which a majority of men were the strength of that and now it just seems like that's not the case. Men don't have backbones anymore the allow people to get away with ridiculous things and do nothing except stand by watch and video.

War world 1 wasn't World war 2 was for plenty a people especially after Pearl harbor my great-grandfather was there when the Japanese attacked Pearl harbor world war 1 was forced.
Define ‘forced.’ Sure, the sinking of the Lucitania was provoked just like the blowing up the USS Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin for the Vietnam War. But, the Japanese had no recourse after the US 🇺🇸 prevented the Japanese from getting any oil / fuel. Apples & Oranges. And frankly, your grandfather being there in Pearl Harbor has absolutely *ZERO* to do with the history of the events other than your own anecdotal emotional attachment to the incident. Sorry, not sorry. Hope you got your Virtue Signal points from your sad 😭 story. 🙄
