This is one of my favorite fights from the series. I was surprised that in subsequent seasons, Kreese couldn't seem to understand why Johhny hated him so much. It could have something to do with Kreese trying to kill him here.

Kreese was losing this fight and relied on the distraction to win and Silver only beat Chozen because Chozen dropped the weapon and showed mercy. So it would be interesting to see Kreese and Silver fight in season 6 in a fair and square fight and who would come out of the fight alive.
You left out the best part. When Daniel kicks Kreese and saves Johnny. The first time I saw this, I couldn’t help, but cheer in that moment. Daniel and Johnny coming together to take down the real enemy.

So much of Cobra Kai is possible only because Martin Cove is in tremendous condition for 75. Even though a lot of the fight scenes (when Zabka is facing the camera and only the back of Kreese's head is visible) are a stunt double.
It’s funny how when they were in the hallway fighting and we only got to see the back of Kreese that he looked much younger, thinner and much more agile. Go figure!

What happened at the old dojo in season 4 was a mere spur of the moment since Kreese pretended he never did anything wrong 2 episodes later. I'd hardly count season 5 as "caring for him" since Kreese tried to manipulate Johnny with his silver tongue when Daniel left the room, and tried to justify his wrongdoings instead of admitting he was in the wrong.
Johnny beat Kreese twice but he was no match for Silver. Then he drew with Daniel in the rematch. So it looks like if Kreese faced off against Silver he would lose.

Daniel conflicted over Miyagi past.. Chozen regarding his love life none have achieved true balance yet.
